Dear Community,

Here comes a very small patch to introduce the 64 bit version of the game. You can read more about it in the dev-blog I wrote a couple days ago:

The content update is still being worked on and should come soon but we want to release this separate to make sure everything runs as smooth as possible.

Overall Updates:

GENERAL:

  • Ported Newz to x64
    • The default option on the launcher will still be 32-bit. If you would like to test the beta 64-bit client, you can do so by selecting it in the launcher:
    • Switch.png
  • Fixed a crash that happened sometimes when entering a car
  • Fixed a crash happening when joining Battle Royale and Event maps
  • Fixed various DirectX & PhysX related crashes
  • Server should no longer kick you when you run down a big slope like a mountain
  • Improved Fredaikis Anti-Cheat connection stability for players

Estimated patch size: 30-50 mb.

Patch ETA: Patch is rolling out as we speak.

Estimated downtime: About 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Pre-patch notes might be changed if we need to fix / add something.

Once again thank you for your great support! Want to support us even more? Make sure to share these patch notes with your friends and followers!

The servers are back up, and the launcher is no longer on PATCH.

We will monitor the game to make sure everything stays running smooth, there might be additional restart and fixes.

Two hotfixes have been released in the past hours containing a fix for a crash happening in Battle Royale and the issue with resetting directx device. If you still have these issues, make sure you update to the latest build.

I not see any difference here;
FX 8300 @4,2Ghz
16Gb DDR3 1600
RX 480 4Gb
Chill set 75fps min 75fps max (60hz AOC F22)
XFX 850W
SSD 240Gb

Maybe more stability, but I don't know. If I set 4 cores I have the same "performance" with 8 cores.

you have very strong computer, so it is difficult to notice the 64bit advantage
i think the weak computers will notice 64bit more easily

Yeah, especially if your CPU was limited.

Also the biggest improvements are on stability

Set texture to hight maybe make more sense to get more stability for low-medium pcs?

Which of the options makes the grass "grow"?

@Fred I know this is not the right place but, when I place a shield and I try to run around it i got stuck at the both side like I was running in front of a wall. I see that i got stuck on a tiny piece of the shield, this BUG is on the game since the beginning of the I:SS. Hope you can fix it because is really annoying.

Hot-fixes have been rolling out throughout the day as crash reports came in. Statistics show that the game looks a lot more stable than before the patch right now!
