  1. I answered this. No, I didn't like the idea of having to go anywhere near a PVP server, cross a PVP server, ect JUST TO TRADE. It doesn't matter "IF you can leave your stuff in GI" You are still POPPING a PVP SERVER and therefore CAN BE TARGETED and KILLED for CHEAP REP. ANY OTHER MAP YOU PLAY , IE V1, Oregon, Cali, or what ever will start you wherever on the map. Even if you have NOTHING ON YOU, and you never lost ANY GEAR, YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY to log back on IF KILLED, or have PREMIUM which YOU PAY FOR WITH REAL LIFE MONEY. Either way PVE players HAVE TO PAY to be a victim of a PVPer. That is asinine. When you change maps / servers it relocates you. I did not make that up. Why should PVE players WANT this?????
  2. Let me say it like this, I don't care how they shut macros use down, they just need to do it. Stop giving advantages to players who buy cheats, be it a keyboard, a mouse, or a download. You said it couldn't be done, I just pointed out it is possible. There are things like click timing and watching click patterns that CAN be done. Nothing is "just visable". Every click causes some sort of action, so those patterns aren't difficult to spot. Also, if ban is in play even someone's stream could prove they cheated. again, I don't care how they stop it. Whatever works!
  3. @Chaos&Mayhem You mean this^^^? Yeah, I saw it. I'm wondering why bother come here at all if the intent is only trolling. Thank you for reporting as well. I knew eventually someone would.
  4. Its funny. The other posters saw the same thing I did. Strange. As for "trying to beat you" WTH are you talking about?? Expressing my opinion was " trying to beat you" or is it the fact I won't sit quietly while you comment away insulting me as you go.
  5. I guess you've never gotten the " you were teleported to a safe location due to map / server change" message. Oh and if it dies, you can just fork over your hard earned GD to revive or wait. No thanks. Re read what you originally wrote. You may have meant that, but that is NOT what you typed. My Squad?? Oh, you mean the non existent community that had this very same opinion before you came. You admitted to reading the previous posts. You knew you were picking a fight. You have admitted to deliberately being an ass too. Who does "AFK" farming. I guess you missed my opinion on macros cheats. Heres a hint... BAN EM ALL. Easy as you getting them to change how they treat players. Oh, you cant. I guess maybe you missed how many have outright told us to"quit" since we had no interest in their style of play. Had you actually read the asinine posts aimed at PVE players, you might have seen why we became defensive. Lets calm the pvp rage... you really didn't read much of that at all.
  6. Again, you want your message conveyed here. Hmmm ignore the " haters" so ignore us when we criticize events, and "Stop them". This is from your original post. So try the whole "I never said" that crap somewhere else and preferably on someone who doesn't read well.
  7. Exactly what youre doing to us. Our opinions don't matter you said so yourself when you said the Devs need to put a stop to us and our opinion.. the demon of greed trying to command us. Funny. Don't dish it out if you can't take it.
  8. Thank you for admitting to breaking the rules. " ll admit to being pretty jaded, I tried to get a bunch of friends involved in this again including some players who used to play a few years ago. I got universally shut down within an hour of play each time with no chance of return. Most people seem to only last 2-3 loot trips even if we go to pve and they don't get farmed for reputation." Im not the one who wrote this. The simple word "so" vs the word "and" give this sentence a whole different meaning. Im a regular player. Here almost every day. SO yeah, I will defend friends here. @CampersRUs @Katryna247 @Chaos&Mayhem If you don't like My "long bitchy" posts why are you here to troll??
  9. There are NOT any public FREE OW official servers. ALSO, moving from server to server it changes your spawn point. So basically no, you wont "spawn into a safe zone" UNLESS you have a character dedicated to that server or its been whatever the magic time is now that they created to prevent stream snipers. Being an ass isn't going to shut any of us up, insulting us proves we are right about PVP players being nasty to others. So by all means...keep proving out case for us. Your condescending tone, talking down to us, being sarcastic. This is by far the most interesting thing about you: Mammon—Aramaic god of wealth and profit, it's a demon or god of all-consuming greed. hmmm explains a lot about you.
  10. Please show me where ANY of US said we " own" the game. Last time I checked I was a free person, with free speech, and I don't answer to you. I don't " need" a "safe space" nor am I one who thinks that the only free speech belongs to them. Opinionate away, just leave me the hell out of it. Again, you sound like JOE.
  11. I don't play the game to make friends (although I do have a few, this however took me a very long time to establish) I do not chat with people when I play. I do not except group invites either, nor do I except friend requests unless I actually know you, or unless I have talked with you extensively off line/out of game. I am not here to socialize, I can do plenty of that when I am in trade lounge buying/selling/trading. I don't know what your calling community spirit style things? Someone a while back mentioned that there should be some sort of co-op missions and things. That's all fine and well for anyone who wants that sort of interaction with other players, I for one do not. You don't see friendships... I guess you see peoples private messages too huh? Oh yeah, that's right! People don't have to make all of their correspondences public. I have friends, Even some that PVP only play. I guess its a bit hard to see private voice chats too. One of my friends uses voice chat to practice his English. But hey... you know what they say about assumptions right?
  12. If sniper trauma/pvp trauma doesn't apply to you then I do not speak of you. It is very telling though that nearly every thread I have read that was posted on these forums devolved into the crusade to save the honour of PVE or whatever. I would see why people want a PVE zombie experience but I don't see why they would choose this one. Its very empty and there is very little to do. I play this and enjoy doing so with my wife. I don't worry about losing much, and I don't deal with toxic people acting as though I "must enjoy" this game in the manor they do. As I said, have have played pvp on here. I got tired of people trying to tell me how " great" pvp was on here and why I should at least " try it". People are different, and they enjoy different things. That is what I loved most about this game... OPTIONS. Just because we don't enjoy the game in the same modes does not make my opinion less valuable. Notice most of the Private servers are PVE? Interesting that a noisey minority wants to dictate how we play enough so that people are renting their own servers to get away from the PVP players!! Thank you for calling our posts long and "Bitchy". Im not a 14 year old, and your insult is like that of a crying baby goat. Whiney and trash talking. No need for civil conversation when your whole point was to insult people who don't want to be pushed into nappy land with the children of romper room! You wanted to make this personal... I'm game. Not really. I only put that comment on that SPECIFIC section of your post. The rest... NO. I am too. Why? Because of how PVP players treat people. No I don't want to see the stuff they write, and reporting it has done nothing. Maybe you should venture over to Discord and see why this community is so divided. What with every experience with someone not knowing a price outta thin air instantly " FAST FAST FAST!!" Or watching the same people day after day claim they've been scammed for being dumb enough to "buy" GC. Or someone getting PO'd and putting peoples FB pics up. Or certain Devs who think its ok to let racist comments slide as long as they don't go overboard. Oh and IF you took your friends to PVE land... they can't get "farmed". On real PVE boards players cant hurt you. At ALL. You can only gain rep on PVP servers. Oh and one more thing... you sound exactly like someone else who came on here pushing nearly the exact same ideas. Mr "worlds greatest beta tester". He left a month or so ago and here you are new. Really makes me wonder....
  13. Im borrowing this from the site listed below. Some of the easiest way to stop the macros cheats I love having a son in the gaming community! He pointed this out to me the other day, and I will share with you! "Clicking the same pattern over and over. Of course. This doesn't have to be exact coordinates, it could be patterns in interacting with objects or movement, etc. Many bots will boast about "anti-pattern-detection", but they tend to always interact with the same pattern of objects, even if they don't click in the exact coordinates every time. (Though exact coordinate patterns are even more of a give-away!) "Clicking the same color over and over. To make programming bots easier, a lot of "color" bots will pick out a color unique to an object to be clicked on, and use that as a marker for where to click. This forgoes any in-game analysis and makes the bot easier to code, but also easier to detect. You can also see this in action if the chosen color is introduced to the player's view (either by another player or by the server), and they react to it as if they would their target object, probably resulting in "useless" actions" Simultaneous keyboard and mouse usage. It's hard, try it! Instant mouse movement. If your mouse instantly moves from some position in-application to some other position in-application (without leaving the application, moving the mouse, and coming in somewhere else), you probably have a program moving your mouse. This also applies to the times you might see the cursor pass through the application (from the left side to the right side, or vice versa) while there is supposedly clicking going on in-application. Constant mouse acceleration. Similar to above, some bots will try and simulate a human moving the mouse. To allow for more entropy, many of these allow the user to select a "mouse acceleration rate". However, this has the consequence of being just as bad: a constant rate of acceleration that isn't reminiscent of true mouse usage at all. The mouse always moving towards a specific location on-screen before a burst of actions-per-minute. Most bots I've seen have some way of configuring their exact usage, which usually comes in the form of a GUI. Extremely jerky mouse movements. This happens because bots will let the fake, in-application cursor be overridden by the computer's real cursor. So when you're clicking around to do stuff in-game and you mouse into the window, your cursor will jump to where your mouse really is, and if you pause your cursor movement at all, it'll try to jump back to what the bot wants to do. Related note: if I switch to some blocking in-game interface and want to look at it, I tend to softly shake my mouse to produce constant, jerky movements to prevent my bot from closing the in-game-window and getting back to work.Lack of interaction when otherwise expected. I have a script that acts as a pack-mule and follows me around, carrying extra things. This extra "player" will occasionally run to the nearest bank, pick up (or drop off) some stuff, and run back to give it to me. There is no communication between the bot and I as to what items I want, what they will get in return, and so on. In some games, moderators or players will appear in-game and try and strike up a conversation with bots. Most bots now will attempt to claim plausible deniability that they did not see the message if the game allows turning off chat. Scheduling conflicts. There is a lot of algorithmic work that can be done here, but in addition to assuming people must sleep x hours every y days, you can also pinpoint the times of day the player is most often online, and check for patterns in game-playing time shifts that are out of the ordinary. Watch for injection bots. This won't work in all games, but the basic gist of the bot is to inject itself into the game process and call game functions directly. This can result in perfect logic, timing, and has very few limits on what can be done. Blizzard's Warden does an excellent job of combatting these kinds of bots, so it'd be good to look into that if you're worried about injection bots and how to stop them. 14. someone always brings it up and I always comment that they should ban macros. LOL best way to not see me harp on it is people not advocating for more macros permittable uses. You and I agree most of the time, its cool
  15. Did it ever occur to you that some players started playing this game only because it had a PVE element? I only get aggressive on the forum when people think its ok to make comments about closing servers and pushing to pop servers by force. Sniper trauma probably does exist on some level for some, that though is NOT why I advocate for PVE . When I started, I had zero interest in PVP play. I already play other PVP games and I really wasn't looking to add another. This game was different... and I liked that. I never played on the PVP servers till the last few months. I TRIED to enjoy it, but in general I don't like it. It had nothing to do with snipers, had entirely to do with the players themselves. Sorry, I didn't appreciate the racist remarks, or names glorifying Hitler! SO, no. Not on this game anyway. It never fails though... Every event pushes perks for PVP players while ignoring PVE. I agree though they do need to do something about the bambi hunting. It does run a lot of noobs off, but so does seeing people call someone a " Thai dogs" and that was one of the nicer ones! In general, this is way too true about hard to get noobs equipped . They have another issue as well though. How many times have we seen noobs beg for help, and vets begging in the trade lounge and ignore the noob bc they don't understand how trade works. Or worse, get mad over they themselves asking players for an offer on an item and getting flaming raging mad bc they don't magically know a price. Yeah, it happens. Some just hunt bambis bc they are easy prey and cheap rep. We totally agree that they need to curb this as it does run off new players. I kinda like this. Over the years similar has been offered as a suggestion. Yes im critical. You can ask @Sven , when they do things for everyone I praise them. When they do event after event and ignore PVE I criticize that. I don't think asking them or pushing for them to treat the PVE community better. Why should event after event only benefit the same people? I hope that they all Including @Fred @3lias @Steve @Sven @HEARTBREAKER @Havi @KOTAZ all see this and look up what you called them....
  16. I understand what you are saying on THIS post. My issue here is yet again let devs off the hook. If they can detect aimbot, other macros cheats it would not be impossible to curb this. I have asked for a while for timers on riots, longer timers on meds on PVP boards that sort of thing. I also read your other post. 23 July- " I agree in part. The warm up mode generates a pvp for those who just want to play without compromise. Pvp mode is played for easy rep.At least on SA servers (the ones I play) could be eliminated to concentrate players. In the case of survival mode it should be feedback to open world as a functional economy. Players participating in the mode are usually more rigorous and aware of what is actually better for the game." ---JKS "Face it the game is Fading...." Your English was just fine. Somehow my comment landed on the wrong post. I was flipping between posts on here as I typed. While we agree on some of this post, I am by far not agreeing with cramming people onto one server, shutting down servers, ect to" pop" boards for PVP. And No. Just bc there could be free "PVE" servers doesn't mean people "wont buy" private ones. I am not much of a social creature so I have little to no interest in " grouping" or being on any board with more than 2 or 3 players. Honestly, being sick of other players behavior is why we rented our server in the first place. People get tired of competing, having kills and loot stolen, cars stolen, ect… Why not give people who cant afford or want to be social a place they can farm? The player behavior by some alone is enough to sell servers! Also, some of us don't like snipers. ( Gasp) I can hit targets as far as I can see , yet not interested in doing that. It isn't because I cant figure them out, I just don't like them. @TheWraith I do care what they do. I began playing a bit of PVP on here, and a bit of survival. That doesn't change the fact that Im still primarily PVE. "Obviously if you give a free pve servers all free players will be go to this servers. This is not a real argument and for me is a offense to players whos pay your private servers to farm. " --- @JKS Oh and @JKS Until less than a week ago I HAD a private server that I PAID FOR. I had it nearly a year. My wife and I BOTH had premium accounts. I stopped paying when the promises that were made didn't materialize. I have posted several times that if things didn't change I might not renew. For the 2+ years I played I have PAID nearly have of it. My complaints have landed in a pile just like @CampersRUs. Im angry. Yes. I would still be happily forking over $$$ for GC to renew my server AND premium had they done even half what we were told. So, no. This isn't an issue of playing free servers BC theyre there... I am just not paying for PVP only play to be the center of attention week after week, month after month.
  17. We don't need lose players if all players have the same advantages. Block the macro is dificuld because is recorded in mouse, like a mecanic well touching the buttons in higth speed. BUT, if we have a time use, like a click in automatic rifle, the macro don't makes sense. If meds and riot have 200ms to use like a time to enter in car or simple ++ cooldown the macro will be stupid use because the control are more dificult. I kill macro players easy when they trying use riot on mountain. And all playes who cry to died for AR are losers and play with macro. They can't use a finger to get a rigth ammo to right distance, but "put" riot, heal in one click. To all who think cramming people onto a server for forced interaction is a good idea an banning macros is too hard: I GUESS you MISSED what happened when they put up temp PVE servers! They were in the top 1-2 most popped! The PVP servers were low pop. Hmmmm…. That tells a different tale. BTW YES!! You will lose players. The game is already suffering bc players who don't cheat get sick of shooting another player 2-3 times in the head with a sniper or 6+ times with an AR only to have them kill you. Banning macros would do more for the game than all the forced play could ever dream up. I never will understand having to use a cheat to play...I may suck.. but every kill I have, every time I died was all on me. I may not be the best but I play fair. I refuse to cheat. Cheaters need to learn to really play without a crutch. Also, if you take the money us horrid PVE players had been spending up to our recent holdout... it makes a difference income wise for the game. A rather large one at that!! Take @CampersRUs for example: Many times he's commented about paying for an extreme acct and private servers for 2+ years. I recently let go of our mine and my wifes) premium, and then our private server. I had my server for over 10 months, and premium for 6-8 mo. Wanna calculate what just the 3 of us just cut out of the games financials...and we are just 3 players!! I have read others say they gave up servers, premium, ect as well. Yeah, they might "lose a few players". The players that they'll lose are the ones that didn't mind financially contributing to the game that so many that cry " screw up the game... run off the evil PVE players... force em to play our way so we can have easy kills, we cant play unless we cheat with macros...we suck so we have to cheat or take our toys and go home!!!!!....whaaaaaaaaaa whaaaaaaa" booooo freaking hoo. Grow up!!
  18. Honestly this would not be an issue if they just banned macro altogether .
