  1. Dear players, It's been a while since our last patch / game update. We are sorry for this. Christmas, new year came through, but we're fully 'back to business' now. Let's get into the patch notes: Overall Updates: Global anti-cheat updates. Beginner servers limit is now 72 hours. Players can play on beginner servers up to 72 hours now, instead of 24. 'Streamer Accounts' are no longer able to join beginner servers. 'Streamer Accounts' no longer have a legendary icon in front of their name in the tab list. 'High jump' is now available in private servers again. Christmas trees have been removed from all the maps. Christmas zombies have been removed. The 'FN FAL' and 'Scar H' are no longer usable on AR Only servers as those 2 guns are now considered as snipers. Fixed the amount of glow on light swords and other glowing objects. - The glow amount is now reduced. Fixed a major freeze / crash cause in maps: Caliwood, Colorado V2/V1 & Battle Royale. (In rd3log it would spam something related to 'terrain tiles') This is now fixed. Fixed a major bug that caused random snipers to have random skinned scopes. Fixed the Admin Kick Button for private servers on the menu. Fixed the bug where players couldn't delete characters and got 'error code: 5'. Item boxes no longer have a chance of spawning heavy armors. Each terrain type (when shooting) now has it's own particles and sounds. When you shoot snow, the bullet hit partlicle would look snowy. When you shoot water you now see water partcles etc. Before the game would use 1 default particle for every terrain type, now it will use different particles depending on what terrain type the player hits. Reworked bullet impacts for each terrain type. When shooting metal now it actually shows random metal bullet hits, and when shooting wood it actually shows random wood bullet hits, & more. Before it would ONLY ALWAYS show the concrete bullet hit. Fixed a bug that players could abuse to join AR / SNIPER ONLY servers by joining through the ''recent servers" tab. Coming soon: There will be more information about this subject as soon as the servers are down. UI Updates: Added a new feature in the global inventory in the main menu: players can now search for items in their global inventory. They can either do this by opening their global inventory and start typing or by clicking on the 'search' icon. ^ This search function is also available in the in-game vault. (when accesing global inventory while being in-game) Added a second screen after players clicking on 'Battle Royale'. The reason we added this button in between is to avoid players from accidently clicking a Battle Royale and then instant join. Now if they click on the Battle Royale button accidently they still have a chance to click on 'back'. This screen in between is also going to be used as a 'map selection' screen later when we finished our second Battle Royale map. (This map is still work in progress but coming soon!) Updated the menu UI background and removed the christmas themed one. Added to the options menu: a button to enable / disable the client-sided headshot feedback sound. (For players that don't want to hear this headshot sound confirmation) Added to the options menu: a button to enable / disable the sprint sensitity change. In the past we've released an update that changed this but some players liked it and some didn't. That's why we added the option so players can decide themselves. ^ Please note that these 2 options are only changable in the menu OUTSIDE of game servers. Added a little SafeZone icon next to a players nametag if they have spawnprotection. Fixed a Crash Related to Accepting Rewards. Spawn protection colors are now changeable and for sale. They can be bought in the marketplace and set on the 'customize' screen of your character. Each character can have their own spawn protection color. NOTE: Please keep in mind that this is first release and some colors might not be entirely perfect. If a certain color is 'broken' please let us know so we can update / fix it. Available colors are: Red Blue White Yellow Orange Grey Purple Light blue Pink Sound Updates: Added 2 new sounds for headshots. 1 plays locally and is an instant feedback on a player as soon as he shoots a headshot. The other headshot sound plays when you get shot in the head, your friends around you will also hear this. We suggest players to test the new sounds out themselves to fully understand when what plays. Also something cool to know is that the headshot sounds ONLY plays when the server registered the headshot. Added more variaty in the 'near miss' shots. (When bullets hit next to you these sounds play) Reduced overall car engine sound. This sound was originally way too loud and is now reduced. Reduced local sound of the TEC 9. This sound was also way too loud compared to other guns. Each terrain type now has its own sounds based on what terrain you shoot. Also particles have been updated. (Check overall updates) Fixed the menu music. It has been playing the wrong soundtrack for a few weeks now, it finally plays the 'original warz soundtrack'. Server Updates: Removed Cliffside from PVP Servers. The map is no longer available since no one played it. Added 1 more West Oaks server in PVP Servers. This one is AR ONLY. Item Updates: Added a new streamer riot shield: 'Riot Shield cr0ssf1r3x'. Added a new streamer riot shield: 'Riot Shield OG_PVP'. Added a new streamer riot shield: 'Riot Shield GraQonfire'. Added a new country riot shield: 'Riot Shield Kazakhstan'. Added a new country riot shield: 'Riot Shield Costa Rica'. Decreased the chance of getting a 'Chrome Flashlight' from a Chrome Skinbox. The 'Karambit Fade' is now renamed to 'Karambit Spectrum'. The 'Pink Dildo Flashlight' is now renamed to 'Flashlight Pink'. Lowered the 'TEC 9' shooting sounds. The 'AN94' (Assault rifle) now has weight. Fixed the new 'Tactical Binoculars' bug. This item is now ready for release and will be released soon. Fixed the animation bug with the airdrop caller in FPS where it would glitch and shake while walking. Fixed a bug where skinned 'K. Style NVGs' would be less weight than the unskinned version. Fixed / Reworked te Riot Shield Bestsmoke textures. Fixed / Reworked the Riot Shield SurvivorSkills textures. Fixed the TPS textures of the 'NP2 Riot Shield'. Reworked the 'AWP' model. Less polys so better FPS and a better looking model. Reworked the 'Riot Shield Svena69'. The shield is now exclusively fully chrome and is for that reason also increased in price. Reworked the 'Karambit Christmas'. Reworked the 'Karambit Spectrum'. Reworked the 'Karambit Camo'. Reworked the 'Karambit E-Unit'. Reworked the 'Karambit Blue Ice'. Reworked the 'Karambit Chrome'. Reworked the 'Karambit Dark Matter'. Reworked the 'Karambit Dark Ruby'. Reworked the 'Karambit Fun Edition'. Reworked the 'Karambit Sapphire'. Reworked the 'Karambit Jedi'. (Wasn't showing the right one before) Map Updates: Colorado V2: Removed Christmas trees. Increased military loot at the airport. The amount of loot should now be around the same as on the airport in Colorado V1. Improved collision walls around Lonetree Farm. WARNING: Glitching through invisible walls is bannable. Fixed some flying water panes randomly in the map. Fixed some flying Sandbags at the Varo Base. Fixed a place in Boulder City where players could get stuck in between some safezone walls. Added some 'jumpups' on the seperate bridge in campos at the 5-Story. Added a small village in Death Valley to make the place more interesting. Also added item boxes and loot. Added a 'jump-up' object at the bus in the centre of Boulder City. Added more player spawns around Boulder City to improve PVP. Added a second entry to Lonetree Farm. Added 1 Alien Super Zombie to Death Valley. Colorado V1: Removed Christmas trees. Added missing item box spawns to Delta Peak. Added a 'jump-up' object at the bus in the centre of Boulder City. Added many objects in cities so that players can jump on top of things / buildings easier. Fixed the despawn timer of a superzombie in boulder city. Fixed several flying objects at West Boulder Meteorological Station. Fixed the zombie spawn at Badgers Hut where superzombies spawned. Fixed a zombie spawn in Fallsdale where no zombies spawned. Caliwood: Improved overall lighting. The map overall was looking way too bright. Removed Christmas trees. Removed some objects that caused lagg / freezes. Buffed the loot of the secret spot. Added some more player spawns around the beach area's. Added collision inside busses where players could get stuck in. Fixed some no-clippable rocks and trees around the beach area's. Fixed some mis placed cars inside the big tunnel. Rocky Ford: Fixed several ways to no-clip / glitch inside the 'garage house'. West Oaks: Improved collision walls inside the map to prevent players from glitching on top of certain buildings.   2. STATUS: Dear players, With the servers going down shortly we also take this opportunity to perform a patch. Here's more information about the server downtime: Servers will be down for around 2-3 hours. This is just an estimation, this can be done earlier or can take longer depending on how fast everything goes. We are doing everything we can to get the servers back up again as soon as possible. Here are the patch notes: Overall Updates: The World Skinbox is removed from the marketplace and now a find-able skinbox. The super zombies have a chance of dropping this skin box. Fixed various server crashes and improved overall stability. Fixed a bug where the aircraft that drops the airdrop would descend with the airdrop. Fixed a bug where the friend invite notification would be sent to yourself, instead of the friend you actually added. Fixed the issue with the Hunter character where one of the heads did not have a neck. This model is now updated to a head with a neck attached. Fixed the issue where one of the Ex Cage Fighter body's did not match the heads. This is now updated. Fixed a no-clip bug related to sneaking. Optimized some parts of the game, which were very CPU intensive. Player Spawn Fix: We lowered the radius of the "Danger-Zone" in the spawn system from 600 meter to 250 meter. Now people wont spawn in another other town after reviving. To make food a bit more useful especially in the Battle Royale game mode we have buffed the statistics of food: All food now either heals or gives stamina, some food more than other food. Improved overall textures and terrain quality. Sprinting no longer has a different mouse sensitivity. Removed the camera limit while sprinting. Karambit icon, model and animations have been reworked. We are also going to add a special 'inspect' animation for the karambit only but for now this is not live yet. The new karambit animations are way better quality than the old ones. We will rework all skinned karambits for next patch and also switch those to the new animations. For now, only the normal karambit is updated. Added a streamer mode, where the server is hidden both in the loading screen, and the PauseUI (map, inventory, etc). To enable this mode, please go to your game settings (Documents/FredaikisAB/NewZ/gameSettings.ini) and put enable_stream_mode to 1. Fixed a bug where shields could not be placed on top of each other. UI Updates: Added a new button in the "you are dead" menu to disconnect. Added to in-game chat: hotkey's to each channel tab. This makes it easier for new players to understand what button to press to switch chat channels. Community Updates: The forward grip and modular arm combat grip are now both better in their own way. The forward grip has more reduced recoil, while the modular combat grip has more reduced spread. (Differences are very small though but this gives players the option to choose, what they like the most) Item boxes rework: We have reworked the item box system. Finding an item box should be rewarding for players and feel as an achievement, therefor we have reworked the entire system: Item boxes will from now on ALWAYS drop a rare sniper. (The chance they give a rare sniper is higher than any other place to find snipers. Item boxes are THE thing to go for if you want rare snipers) Item boxes will ONLY spawn at military locations in Colorado V2, V1 and Caliwood. Bigger locations have more, smaller locations have less. Here's some tips and facts about the new item box system: Item boxes are hidden, they are going to be hard to find. Remember the places where you find one because they will not ALWAYS spawn at that place. Item box spawns are unique. There's around 10 spots for them to spawn in an area, but only 1 of the spots will have it spawning. This means that in the beginning it's going to be very hard to find out where all the spots are. Once you get the hang of it and know all the spots, it's just a matter of checking all the locations to see which one spawned. Marketplace Updates: Added 'Riot Shield ZB' and is now available in the in-game marketplace. (Zombie Barricades) Added 'Riot Shield Dr4g0on' and is now available in the in-game marketplace. (Dr4g0on) Added 'Riot Shield MMFK' and is now available in the in-game marketplace. (MMFK Clan) Added 'Riot Shield PSH' and is now available in the in-game marketplace. (Moderator) Car spawners are now 50% cheaper and a buggy spawner is now GD. We are aware of the issues with cars and because of that we have made them cheaper. In the process we are still working on improving the system. Skin Updates: Fixed the 'AUG Dreadnought' skin recipe icon. Fixed the 'Blaser Red Dragon' skin recipe icon. Updated the 'M4 Revall' skin recipe and normal icon. Item Updates: 'SVD Ammo' is now called 'SVD 10 Ammo' so it's easier for players to see what magazine has 20 bullets and what has 10. The OTS-SVU and the black night skin for the sniper now have a PSO scope by default. (Like all the other skinned versions) The TEC9 is now capable of having any SMG ammo attached. The AK47 is now capable of having side attachments attached. (Rifle laser, Rifle flashlight) Fixed the Riot Shield GrankGrunz description. Fixed the M200 fire rate. The sniper now shoots as fast as all the other snipers. Highered the normal M4 damage to 23,5. Highered the mosin damage to 55 and uppered the fire rate to 50. Battle Royale Updates: Fixed a bug where an airdrop would drop outside the safe radius in Battle Royale. Fixed a bug where pressing the Battle Royale button, when the Battle Royale servers are full, would make the button bug out. The position of the Battle Royale safe zone will only be revealed after 3 minutes, when the radiation starts. This prevents players from camping at the start. Added new radiation on-screen effects to the Battle Royale. When players are in radiation they now have a better visual feedback. Death sounds have been disabled in the Battle Royale lobby. Reworked some features of the Battle Royale UI; added a visual indicator to see when the radiation starts. Added a Pole with a blue flag to indicate the center of the Battle Royale Safe-zone. Autoskin now works in Battle Royale servers for the small backpack. Map Updates: Colorado v2: Optimized overall terrain quality. Decreased / optimized overall grass to improve FPS and performance. Reduced the amount of super zombies overall. Super zombies now only spawn at military places. Removed the random menu music playing in Campos city around the five story. We've checked the whole map for flying objects and fixed them. Major loading time improvements due to removal of duplicate objects. Colorado v1: Optimized overall terrain quality. Lounge: Optimized overall terrain quality. Optimized shadow quality. Removed trees that were no-clippable. Caliwood: Optimized overall terrain quality. Optimized shadow quality. Removed unused terrain layers to increase FPS and performance. Added many objects throughout the whole city to make it easier for players to jump on top of certain buildings. Added more cars on the big roads so players have more cover for PVP. Reduced the amount of super zombies overall. Super zombies now only spawn at military places. Reduced overall brightness of the map. We've checked the whole map for flying objects and fixed them. Fixed places at the 'Convention Center' where players could get stuck in between objects. Battle Royale: Optimized overall terrain quality. Optimized shadow quality. Major FPS improvements. Increased the size of the lobby. With the amount of new players we got Battle Royale's are often filled with a 100 people. The lobby we had was just too small for that. The new lobby is increased in size. We've checked the whole map for flying objects and fixed them. Added many objects throughout the whole map for more details and cover for players. Removed grass that was inside buildings or clipping through streets. Smallville: Optimized overall terrain quality. Fixed some flying objects. Rocky Ford: Optimized overall terrain quality. West Oaks: Optimized overall terrain quality. Spring Valley: Optimized overall terrain quality. Clear V2: Optimized overall terrain quality. ClearSmall: Optimized overall terrain quality.   3. Dear players, With the Steam release upcoming tomorrow we're going through some final changes / fixes. This is also to get the 'wave' of newer players easier into the game. Thanks for understanding and patience, here are the notes: Overall Updates: Fixed a crash related to skinning items. Fixed a crash / kick when a player exits a car. Fixed multiple small UI crashes and bugs. Fixed a bug where switching slots while reloading would bug the reload animation. (Ammo was flying in the air LOL) Fixed a bug where the grenade would attract zombies when landing on the ground, before the explosion. Skill tree will no longer count in Battle Royale as this is a unique game-mode next to our 'Open World' that doesn't have anything to do with Global Inventory / character statistics. Autorun (Activated with NUM-LOCK key) now actually makes your character run instead of walk. Airdrops will now attract zombies up on landing. Super zombies have been tweaked. No minor changes. Reviving your character (for all accounts without premium) no longer costs GC. Players can revive their character for 15.000 $ / GD. New accounts can now also play Battle Royale without any time limit. There's still a time limit for other servers. Fixed the Battle Royale camera shake bug. If you still have this problem, fully empty the selected character's inventory. This will fix the problem. Battle Royale Updates: We've done some tweaks to the Battle Royale game mode to improve PVP and make the game-play a bit faster. Also we have improved the safe area system: The overall system is now smarter. The safe zone radius now decreases depending on where the remaining players are located, for example: When the safe zone radius is 500 meter, but all the players are in a 200 meter radius, the safe zone radius will decrease to 200 meter on the next decrease tick. This is to make overall game play faster without having players waiting and camping everywhere. The safe area radius now decreases faster. The safe area radius now starts a bit bigger. Players can now see the safe area radius in the minimap. Skilltree has been disabled in Battle Royale. Skilltree is only used for our Open World game mode. UI Updates: For new players coming to the game we've done some UI changes: Players can now attach any attachments by dragging the attachment in their inventory on top of their gun. Weapons now show in the description of the item what ammo can be attached. This to avoid any confusing about "What ammo is for what gun?". Added a UI indicator reminding you to reload when your ammo is critically low! Community Updates: Loot and item spawns will be LIVE tweaked somewhere tonight. We will add new items that don't spawn yet, and do some tweaks. Don't worry, there won't be a nerf or anything. More information with details about what exactly changed will be posted later. Item Updates: Fixed the Riot Shield GG store icon. The shield is now available in the marketplace again. Fixed the Riot Shield GrankhGrunz. Fixed the Riot Shield NP2 texture.   4. Dear Players, We're rolling out a quick hotfix to fix some issues related to last patch. Russian is now available as in-game language. Fixed some problems related to the in-game UI text. Some text was missing / bugged. Fixed / Updated some UI buttons. Resized some elements. Updated / Tweaked chat UI. There's been some problems for players with lower-end pc's regarding the lighting changes. Therefor we've tweaked them a bit to increase FPS and performance: Adjusted fog settings. Less fog overall and fog almost entirely removed during full day time. Tweaked further global settings to increase FPS. Fixed the M4 Revall texture problems. Fixed the VSS Red Dragon scope. The sniper now has it's own custom skinned scope. Fixed a problem related the the FOV of the OTS SVU sniper & skinned versions. New Riot Shields are now available in the marketplace. ClearV2, SpringValley and WestOaks now no longer has a clan limit. Found a map related problem / bug / glitch?   5. Estimated Patch Release: Sunday, November 13, 10:00 AM (UTC+2) Dear Players, A patch will roll out tomorrow morning (depending on what time mr. Fredaikis wakes up) for the following things: Overall Updates: Updated some loading screens. Fixed crash: "000051.876| MatLib: there is no material data/objectsdepot\wz_military\Materials\CR_Tileable_MetalPainted_MilitaryGreen_01.mat (Loading mesh data/objectsdepot/wz_military/bld_watchtower_01.scb)" About the AUG forward grip: This weapon wasn't planned on having the possibility to attach a forward grip. We announced some time ago that the gun would be able to have a forward grip attached but unfortunately we have to take that back. The AUG is not capable of having a forward grip attached. Fixed some texture bugs related to the IBA Sand, Medium armor, Light gear & MTV. Lighting Changes: This is a big part of our patch. Even though that probably in a lot of player's opinions the lighting in-game has been fine, and would be unnecessary to work on at this moment, we still decided to take a closer and deeper look into it. Why? We, especially me (Sven) and Fred weren't really satisfied with the current lighting quality of the game. We felt like it was not reflecting what the possibilities are with our engine and it wasn't looking 'good'. We decided to take a deeper look into it and we've reworked the entire lighting for EVERY map except Colorado V1. (Reason: we want to keep colorado v1 the same as the 'old colorado v1' lighint always been.) Here's the major changes (summarized up) that we've done: Reworked atmospheric fog: better colors, transitions and better 'fade' with sky domes. Reworked post FX colors: brighter colors, more 'happy' overall colors and best of all a more realistic looking FX. Night vision settings remain untouched BUT we've fixed problems with glow, light swords and sun that affect night vision. Fixed some lighting / shadow bugs related to the light swords. Sky domes and transitions from dawn - day - dusk - night have been optimized. Some maps would show 2 suns, those are now fixed and the sun is lined up with the sky dome. Major other changes and tweaks. Some too small to mention. We hope you all like these new changes, we are at least more satisfied with the global look of the game now. Let us know what you think! UI Updates: Fixed a UI Bug where the right click menu would bug under the menu in the in-game inventory. Improved overall UI quality. Did some small changes to make it look just a little bit better. Community Updates: Autumn & Dreadnought skinbox have been removed from airdrop caller loot. Airdrop caller loot has been updated: Removed all GD skinboxes from airdrop callers. Added 2 new skinboxes to the airdrop caller loot: the Hynx Skinbox & Jedi Skinbox. Added 2 new karambits to the airdrop caller loot: the karambit citrine & karambit peridot. We are discussing the following: Being able to put any scope on any gun including snipers. This is NOT implemented in this patch and still considered with the community. Updated the Mauser SRG description. It no longer says 'desert' in the description of the item. Updated the Riot Shield Fredaikis texture. Updated the Riot Shield SkillerFreak texture. Updated the M107 Blueprint scope -> fixed the texture. Added new media riot shield: Riot Shield GrankhGranz. Added new media riot shield: Riot Shield MYSTA. The AN94 is now capable of having a forward grip attached. The TEC9 is now capable of having any SMG ammo attached. (SMG 20 or SMG 40) The AK47 is now capable of having side attachments attached. (Rifle laser, Rifle flashlight) The MP5/10 is now capable of having any AR grip attached. (Forward grip, modular combat grip) Re-added media riot shield: Riot Shield Przemoo TV. Re-added media riot shield: Riot Shield BestSmoke. Re-added media riot shield: Riot Shield Arridow. ^ We are sorry that those shields got removed earlier. This was due a big misunderstanding. Normal notes: Overall Updates: Fixed a big problem where sometimes attachments of guns would not show or show bugged when a gun is on a players back. When a gun is on a players back the gun now shows all the attachments + ammo properly. Fixed a bug (mainly occurring in Battle Royale) where the camera of the player would bug and shake. This no longer happens. Overgrowth on buildings is no longer no-clippable. UI Updates: Fixed a bug where an extra (new) character slot would appear with an invisible character available. This is now removed. Players can now drop items by moving them in the 'blank' spaces of the inventory. This can also be done with stacks of items. Players can now change their 'item highlight color' in the main menu -> options of the game instead of in-game. Community Updates: Premium skinboxes now have a higher spawn-rate in general. Skin Updates: Updated the AUG Christmas skin texture due community feedback. The front part of the skin is now more 'solid' white. Updated the M200 Chrome to more 'real chrome'. Before it was 'mat' chrome. This is fixed now. Item Updates: AUG is now able to have a forward grip attached. "Mauser SRG Desert" has been renamed to "Mauser SRG".   7. PATCH STATUS: Patch incoming Server downtime 30-45 minutes. Dear Players, We are quickly rolling out a hotfix to fix some major problems. Before we run into the notes we would like to explain you why this hotfix is rolling out now and why it has not been rolled out directly after the patch - days ago. After the patch we've started working instantly on something that needed to happen ASAP; simply said: "Removing / cleaning a lot of assets from our current game build". Why? Why now? This needed to happen ASAP, it was / is a lot of work to do and it could only be done by 1 person at the time. The reason we needed to do this process has a lot to do with something we can not mention yet, but will soon be announced. What this "process" means for you as a player: NO items are removed. YOU as player will NOT notice ANY difference. Total game size has been decreased with around 20% by removing assets, files which were not in use at all. -> faster download for new players! Possible amount of crashes has been decreased drastically. No more 'weird' errors caused by files that we're interrupting with other files. Possibly better FPS, performance and faster loading times when joining a server. Better security against possibly copyrighted assets: in this "process" we've literally checked every single asset / file that is in the game, documented & researched it and made sure it's completely owned by us & or legal to use. Again, we are very sorry that we have not been able to roll out a hotfix instant. We hope players can now understand a bit better why we could not hotfix directly after the patch.   8. PATCH STATUS: LIVE Dear Players, It's time again for an update. This patch might come as a surprise to a lot of people due to the fact that we patched only one week ago, but due to several reasons we decided to do a quicker "smaller" hotfix to fix some game-breaking related problems. As you will notice by reading these patch notes, we have not really added any new content, this is also why this patch is intentionally meant as a hotfix. With this patch we have focused on fixing minor issues. We felt like we couldn't really start working on new features/content due to the fact that there were still game-breaking related issues in the game like the abuse of left peak, macro problems, voip & crashes. With this patch we have focussed fully on these problems and should be mostly fixed now. Let's get into details now: Overall Updates: Updated some spelling mistakes and made some improvements to the German language pack. Updated some spelling mistakes and made some improvements to the Dutch language pack. Turkish is now available as game language. Vietnamese is now available as game language. Polish is now available as game language. Players can now repair a car without placing the actual car down. This can be done by taking a car + a repair kit in your backpack -> right click repair and choose a repair kit to repair the car with. The "Repair" does not show up when a car is at 100% durability. Premium repair kits repair for 100%, normal repair kits for 30%. Car system has been improved. VOIP: We've experienced some problems regarding VOIP after our latest patch. VOIP was still not available in public (Official) EU Servers. This had something to do with the security/anti-ddos of our EU server. Our apologies for not releasing VOIP fully at once, but we finally fixed the problem and VOIP is now available on EU Official Servers too. LEFT PEAK: Yes. Left peak, players abusing left peak, it's been a major game-breaking problem recently in the game and it's been taking up a lot of time from us thinking about solutions. Finally we've found the right solution for left peak and most important, it's no longer abusable by players anymore. Enjoy! Fixed a bug related to auto-skinning items. Some times some items in players accounts didn't auto skin. This is now fixed. UI Updates: Fixed a UI Bug where sometimes the scroll bar in the server browser would not work correctly. Moved the in-game statistics that were originally under the chat to the down left box (where health, sprint bar etc.. is) so that when players hide the chat now still can see their player statistics. Also changed some of the text fields inside the statistic bars to a shorter text for more space. Updated the UI background to a new one for a new fresher look. Updated the top menu in the UI and made it more transparent so it fits better with the rest of the menu. Updated the "Play" screen. Instead of showing 2 buttons: Competitive / Open World we've changed the buttons and released the new layout as 'basis' for the future of this game. There's now 4 buttons: Open World -> All normal game modes and everything related to a player's Global Inventory. Battle Royale -> One of our 'main' game-modes. Survival -> Coming soon. Competitive -> Coming soon. Removed the "Battle Royale" button from the open world screen. (Since this game-mode is not open world but an actual game-mode) Removed the "Coming Soon" button from the open world screen. (This button was a place-holder for the competitive game-mode but we have another place for this game-mode now.) The open world server selection screen now has 2 less buttons and is resized a bit. Fixed a bug in the Options - Controls menu when applying a different sensitivity the bar / value would change / bug when clicking on apply. This bug is now fixed. Community Updates: Improved the AK-74M after community feedback. This assault rifle was way too bad compared to other guns. With these changes we hope that this gun will be used more by players. Spread is decreased & Recoil is decreased. AK-74M spawn rate has been increased. The gun should now be more common. Basic Glasses are now spawning. Skins for this item will be released soon. Crash Updates: Fixed a bug where another player's reputation would bug and not show the right reputation icon. Fixed a bug where the kill feed would sometimes show random black glitched bars. We've experienced some problems recently and weren't very happy in adding more because certain clans have been abusing their skins and been selling their slots. We then decided not to add any clan skins until we've found a solution for this problem. Now, we did: Clan skins requirements have been increased -> This way we can filter the 'professional' clans out, etc. Clan skins will be available after 1 week when a player joins a clan. -> to prevent clans from selling their slots. Please be warned that any clan we see selling their clan slots either for ingame currency OR external currency will be banned PERMANENTLY. More info will follow soon regarding the new applications for clan skins, stay tuned on our social media and forums! A forum post will follow later regarding the new clan / riot shield applications and requirements. Stay tuned for that. NEW AUG + SKINS: We've finally finished reworking the AUG to a new model.   9. Hello everyone, It's time again for a game update! This patch is not really considered as 'special' as we're still working on bigger things for a next update. Some cool things that are finally there are VOIP and our game being available in different languages. Things that we're still working on are fixing left peak and the competitive game mode, more information regarding this will follow soon. For now, let's jump into this update: Overall Updates: We have performed a small clean-up in our game files to make the total game size smaller & to remove unnecessary files. There's a small chance that some in-game items might have texture problems. We ask players that experience problems / bugs after this patch to report the problems to us so that we can fix them in a hotfix later. Fixed some concrete walls that were still no-clippable for players. Fixed the 'Barn Model' building where players could look through the windows only from the inside. Fixed the issue with accounts that did not have ANY characters on the account. Fixed the global issue where some buildings in some maps had noclippable overgrowth. Updated website: added links to the support email on several pages in case new players have problems. VOIP: In-game VOIP is finally available for players! You might notice that VOIP will be disabled in certain servers. Players can disable the VOIP in their game options in the main menu. Players can mute players from their in-game tab list. LANGUAGES: To improve our game for our players we've started to translate our game into multiple languages. Our plan/goal is to have New Z available in any language there is. This is of course a long way to go but we will be working with moderators and players to help translating the game in any language. We will be releasing more languages every patch from now on; here are the languages being released for this patch: English. (default) Dutch. French. Portuguese. German. Spanish. Russian. Fixed the problem that caused the AA-12 to have a different shotgun sound when in 'semi mode' than 'automatic mode'. Fixed a bug where anaconda and double barrel shotgun ammo was flying around the character in third person. Also, in this patch we are doing a 'pre-content' release of some new weapons meaning those guns are now released on patch notes but not yet released in-game.   10. Dear players, We have decided to quickly run a small hotfix to fix problems that occurred after our latest patch. The main reason we are doing this hotfix is to fix the Battle Royale Lobby. (which was unplayable due a bug) We have also fixed some other smaller issues. Note: This patch is pre-updating some things so that the upcoming patch will be smaller in size. Overall Updates: Fixed the problem where players who have an Extreme account subscription still had to pay 10 GC to revive a character. Fixed a visual bug with the Zombie Killer showing 66% Durability. Fixed a visual bug where player's reputation icons would not always show the right icon. Fixed the problem where F10 (In-game marketplace) wasn't working on private servers. Community Updates: Aidrop caller loot has been buffed after receiving feedback from players. UI Updates: Fixed the in-game 'Extreme' icon. (when having an 'Extreme' subscription) In the tab list the icon is red now. Fixed a bug where random players had a red name in the chat. Updated the "Pick-up UI": (This saves a lot of time in fast game-play when players pick up items) When a player's backpack is full it will be indicated directly on the "Pick-up UI" and the player won't be able to pick any items extra up. It's amazing to see after the last patch how much people got back into the game, enjoyed again, were happy.. Like it's suppose to be! We are currently doing everything we can to keep the work on the game like in this positive way. We have a very bright future! Now let's get into some details: Overall Updates: 'DMR Ammo' is now spawning. Beginner Servers will give Double XP so new players can get a little bit of a easier start and get into the game faster. Deleted all private servers that have not been renewed for more than 2 months. F10 is no longer available in pvp servers. (It was never suppose to be available, our excuses) Spread Decrease per seconds of AR has been reset to its previous value. Players can't 'instant reload' by dropping the weapon or skinning it anymore. Fixed / updated some walls that were no-clippable in Colorado / Springvalley. (Grey concrete walls) Fixed a bug where sometimes getting out of a car would sometimes glitch you. Fixed a crash related to private Servers. This crash caused the loot to bug itself too. Fixed a kick that players could abuse to instant-logout when placing a riot shield. Fixed some spelling mistakes in the loading screens. Fixed a problem in the 'sky domes' of some maps that would show 2 suns. Fixed the problem that caused players to randomly die in lounge. Fixed visual bugs in the Home screen for accounts without any characters. Fixed the problem where shotgun ammo would be invisible. Added a indicator in the UI that will show when double XP / GD events are active. Players can now see in the main menu how much time they have left on their account type subscription. When a player hovers (in the main menu) the "Account Subscription Button" he can click it and will be redirected to the "Upgrade Account" Screen. When a player's subscription almost runs out, he will get multiple notifications saying "Your ... subscription is running out". When a player wins a Battle Royale he will get a notification with the price(s) in the main menu after logging out. (Like the daily reward system) When upgrading to a new account type, whatever is left of your current subscription will be translated as a discount. This way you will not loose any "Premium" or "Deluxe" days when upgrading to "Deluxe" or "Extreme". Upgrading from a 'lower subscription' will automatically deduce the price of an upgrade depending on the days left of your current subscription. To make this more clear we have some examples to make it more clear: When upgrading from premium to deluxe, the price of the upgrade will be discounted depending on how much days your current account subscription (premium) has left. This means that when upgrading, you don't 'lose' any GC. When upgrading the 'time left' will reset and start on "30 days left" again. Marketplace / Global Inventory 'category' icons have been reworked in our new UI theme style. Also another tab is added for skinboxes. Skin recipe's are now in a different tab to skin boxes. Added a option where players can enable or disable loot Physics. (Disabling will increase FPS, but gear loot "hovers" on being dropped) (Option is in the "Options" tab in the main menu of the game) Enemy HP indicator on death should be working perfectly now. The killing spree messages will not change between 4 different depending on the kill-streak size. Skins And Skinboxes have their own tab now. (In-game, Global inventory & Marketplace etc.) Fixed a lot of positioning issues in the trade UI. Fixed many crashes coming from the UI. Community Updates: SNIPER ONLY MAPS ARE COMING BACK! Honey badger damage has been decreased from 24 to 23 due community complaints. Decreased the damage on MP5/10 due community feedback. Increased the fire rate of the 'AWM Magnum'. (sniper) Increased the spawn rate of the 'VSS Vintorez' on item box spawns. Increased the fire rate of the 'FN Scar H'. Tweaked the Anti-Macro system. Should respond better to legit players. Added a new 'XP farming place' in Colorado v2 called 'Death Valley'. This place is in the north part of the map. Based on community feedback after last patch a lot of people have been asking if the 'old lonetree' could come back so players can farm the skill-tree easier. Unfortunately we are not able to bring back a place like that since it has 2 unrealistic things: "Farming zombies that drop weapons" & "Farming zombies without any 'hard' aspects'". However, we have looked into a new idea: "Death Valley". Death Valley is a new 'zombie farm' place but this time we made it a bit harder, but also a bit more fun. Death Valley is a huge open area with a lot of grass and bushy plants, a lot of super zombies, sprinters, sleepers, etc. The idea is that it's too hard to go there alone, since there's no safe place. Players will be forced to go there in a team, and kill the zombies tactical, since there's a lot and you can't see where they're coming from. Based on feedback from our community we will now focus on more cheaper GC items. This means cheaper GC skinboxes, cheaper items, and a more variety of cheaper GC items, so that the people that have less amount of GC also have the opportunity to choose from a decent amount of items. Please keep in mind we will NEVER add any items for GC that are based on any "Pay To Win" aspect. (We are focusing on cosmetic items only for GC items) Based on feedback from the community we've decided to add a button on the marketplace when a skinbox is selected where players can click on and see what skins are inside the skinbox including rarity, price, etc. Together with that, a lot of skins are now also directly purchasable in the marketplace, obviously for a higher price. This gives players the option to either buy a skin directly (which will cost more than buying the skinbox the skin is in) or take a "gamble" and pay 'less' and open some boxes, hoping to get the skin they want. ^ We've decided to do this since a lot of players were asking for this. Note: Please keep in mind we will not put ALL the skins that are in skin boxes on the marketplace. There will ALWAYS be skins that players can't directly buy. With this we hope to keep 'rarity, and variety'. This also allows us to use exclusive skins for events, sales, etc to keep it more fun! Based on idea's from the community we've worked on a new 'type' of Super Zombie (variant). After a lot of testing we are finally able to (beta) release a new type of 'Super Zombie' called the "Alien Super Zombie". Together with this testing and release we've learned a lot about the current zombie system of the game and with this experience we are now able to add new kinds of zombies in the future (Think about an actual "new" zombie thing next to super zombies and normal zombies) With this (beta) release we are already 99% sure that this will be the final result of the zombie will be. We might need to do some small changes. We are planning on releasing this new super zombie fully in the next patch. This means that for now we've added the zombie only in Colorado at one place. In future the Alien Super Zombie will spawn in more places but for this patch only in one place. (Good luck finding where it is) The Alien Super Zombie ONLY spawns at night time, has A LOT more health than a normal super zombie but drops OTHER items than a normal super zombie. The Alien Super Zombie has WAY higher chance of dropping snipers and more rare items. We are open for any feedback on the Alien Super Zombie so that we can optimize it for the FINAL RELEASE, next patch. Skin Updates: The 'FN Scar Camo' is removed from the normal skinbox and is only in the 'Camo skinbox' now. The 'Honey Badger Toxic' is removed from the Battle Royale Skinbox and is now in the Epic Skinbox. The 'MP7 Banana Kong' & 'Mosin Gladiator' are removed from the Battle Royale Skinbox. These skins will be added again in later exclusive boxes. The Battle Royale Skinbox now only contains Battle Royale skins. All remaining 'camo' skins have been removed from the Epic Skinbox and are now only available in the Camo Skinbox. Updated the "ANRG" clan skins descriptions and changed "ANRG" to "AG" on request of the clan. Updated the 'Chainsaw Christmas Edition' recipe icon.   13. Something came in between.. Just to keep you guys updated and aren't thinking nothing's going on. Here's an update on current daily work. Ill be back to buildings soon. Answer on this: We've recently improved a lot regarding our engine -> 3d models. That's also why we are now also fixing a lot of buildings and other stuff in the game. With that said, we are now also able to re-create store icons for items. THIS said, gives us the possibility to instead of edit the old store icon and add a skin on it in Photoshop (old way) we can now actually generate the icons for items and it's skins. (new way) Why is this good? Skin icons will now always look 100% like the skin would look in-game, better quality and for the custom items in the game the icons will look WAY better. Unfortunately we do not have acces to the scenes of the original store icons so therefor, in order to create icons of the guns (for the skins) we would also have to remake the original icon. With THAT said, above in the picture you see the old store icon of the IMI TAR-21 and the new icon. The new icon is created using the method mentioned above. As you can see is that the new icon looks 100% like the gun looks in-game, the old icon actually doesn't. Almost 90% of the guns in-game look different in-game than on the icons.. Pretty stupid if you think about it. Anyways, we are forced to re-create all the scenes for current guns, in order to start generating icons for the skins which leaves us that in the game all the icons of every gun will be remade. In the end of this process we will achieve: - All guns will have new icons -> game more unique and a more unique look different than ISS. - All guns will from now on always look 100% in-game as on the icon. - All gun skins will from now on always look 100% like they will look in-game as on the icon. - All icons will generally be more quality. - More. I'm sorry about the long text. Hope everything is clear.
  14. town_clinic_01 - The Medic. - Opened up the two more rooms, added a back door entrance, added windows in the back door & added more doors.
  15. des_bld_shop_03 - The 3 Story building. - Opened up another room on the top floor and fixed some wall glitches.
  16. bld_house_2_story_04 - A Caliwood Villa. - Fixed the issue where players could get stuck while running up the stairs.
  17. town_firestation_01 - The fire station. - Opened up two rooms in the back part of the building. Added multiple doors, and added more entrances to the building.
  18. Post office: DONE! Opened up the other room, and added a back door entrance to that room. The post office is now enter-able from two sides. The other room that was already there remains untouched.
  19. Another building! This time I reworked the restaurant (diner). This building HAD to be reworked due issues and the old model was causing MAJOR FPS drops. This all fixed I made the backside open and added an extra room! Note: This building won't be released in the patch of tomorrow but in the upcoming patch.
  20. Another Caliwood building! This time the liquor store! We opened up the 'back' room and added a back entrance to the building so now its enter-able from two sides. Also the front window thats next to the new room is opened!
  21. A part of the big shopping mall in Caliwood. This building is only used in Caliwood and is one of the 5 parts of the big shopping mall. This part was completely closed before, I turned it into a market and opened it up completely! - Please note that on the picture you see all the details like the shelves and counters, this will not be directly in-game like this due the high amount of vertices and faces the model has with that.
  22. The garage! This building is used in mainly Colorado V2 for example in Clearview. First of all the overgrowth is removed, second is that we added a connecting door between both parts of the building together with a new one-way enter-able room!
  23. Hello Everyone, Due the big demand and requests from players and to keep you all updated as much as possible with the development of the game I have decided to write another developer blog. This time the developer blog will be a little bit different since I will lock the thread and disable comments. Why? This developer blog will be updated daily with new development news. I will comment myself with the latest progress and in that way you guys will be able to know when I did something again! (See it as some sort of timeline.) As some of you might know is that due some progress on some scripts related to 3D models in the game we are now able to work with models much better and faster. As some of you might know is that also because of this for the upcoming update of the game we will remove all overgrowth from all buildings in the game to increase FPS and performance. Our next steps are planned to be reworking buildings, making them open / enter-able and fixing issues / glitches related to buildings. This is what this developer blog is about. In this developer blog I will keep you all updated what buildings are done, how they look (with pictures) and what exactly is done to it! Also good to know is that whenever something is posted here it will be in the next upcoming patch for the game!
