  1. Can you devs just dump the boxes and items into the players GI if you are removing servers? It's been done before and it's a major inconvenience to your player base to run multiple boxes all over the maps back to the safe zone. Thanks in advance.

    Snipers

Had a friend get 2 in one day from airdrops, then looted about 30 since then with no snipers. Very random and still very rare. 1 in 7 ... I don't think so.

    Snipers

I have not seen very many, and I play ALOT of Survival. I kill lots of supers, aliens, and grab air drops and have 5 in my GI. That's after playing since survival came out. Seems rather balanced IMO.
  4. Zombies are either walking with their feet in the ground or walking through tents and barriers around Colorado Boulder on Survival. Noticed this in big parking lot, on overpass, and around center of town.

    Maps - Survival

Spoken like a true corner camping peeker.
  6. Rarity of loot? The two best looting spots in Oregon are at Prison, overpass on bridge, and Army Depot.. all within walking distance of the safe zone. The frequency of Oregon loot spawns is what destroys the rarity of loot. I just farmed Boulder on Colorado and found hardly any good loot. I can go to Army depot in Oregon in half the time and get far better gear and just walk to the safe zone. Very unbalanced!
  7. I have personally played Survival since day 1 (as well as War Z). I just hate open world with the shield spamming, bunny hopping sniper fest. 40+ days and counting survived between all my characters all with maxed skill trees, so I have quite a bit of experience in the game mode.
  8. Another possible addition would be to allow a player to turn into a zombie if infected by one after a certain time period. If bitten, allow the player to turn into a zombie model and be able to stalk players somewhat incognito with strong melee attacks.. (disable guns and melee weapons that players use).
  9. I am still seeing zombies at airport on colorado survival walking through fences. Noticed this around the north fence line.

    Maps - Survival

The skill tree needs to be expanded for survival. Give players something to work toward after maxing out the current skills!
  11. I have yet to find a car on Survival Oregon since the initial change. Has this been updated yet? I see a bunch on Colorado. Thanks!
  12. I've noticed the draw distance seems longer for the loot outline, even during the day with clear line of sight to the item, potentially causing this issue?
  13. I get this effect without the NVGs on as well. I tried turning off Nvidia overides but its still occurring. Kotaz - do you recall what specific setting triggers this?
  14. I know you can sometimes see gear and loot it through a wall, but on Oregon Survival I am seeing gear that is far away. Here is a screenshot of gear on the bottom floor I am seeing at quite a far distance. I am getting this effect pretty much everywhere.

    Loot - Survival

What is your feedback? (Please be specific): I've been killing alien super zombies non stop for the last few day in Oregon survival. I must have killed 20+, and while it drops 2 items, I am noticing it is no better (in some cases worse) than normal super zombies. I think the alien zombie which is a rare spawn and takes so much ammo should provide more rewards than normal super zombies to give players some incentive to kill them. Ive also noticed that they do not always spawn at 10pm. Do they randomly spawn between 10 and 4am? What map did you experience this?: Oregon survival When was this?: last few days Write extra info here: Maybe I have just had bad luck but the loot from the Aliens just not been as good as normal supers.
  16. The two best loot areas (Umatilla and Prison) are within a short walking distance of the safe zone. I loot these spots all the time and leave with a military backpack full of armor, meds, stanag, and nice AR's.. right next to the safe zone. Cars and bus stops are NOT the main problem here. The issue is with loot - it's just too plentiful on survival. Since the patch I have not even seen a car, so my characters are basically sticking to one part of the map - making the whole map highly unused. Please increase cars or bring back some form of the bus stops.
  17. I am curious to those who voted NO as to why they do not want them?
  18. Should character loadouts be added to Survival Mode? In my opinion they should be. It does not impact the survival aspect of the game as this is a mechanic on the character select screen. Plus it could be implemented like Open World where one gets more loadouts based on premium status = added revenue to the game.
  19. THIS!!!! Vehicles are easy to avoid as well as destroy/kill occupants. Plus Oregon is so hilly you cant easly drive through it.
  20. I sure didnt see many on the forums saying "Please remove bus stops and reduce the number of cars." Running simulator does not equal survival. The hardest thing to survive in survival are the other players, not zombies. Allowing other players to travel the map easier make makes the game HARDER to survive. As for cars, currently the populations and terrain in Oregon do not allow for any impactful amount of "Car kills". How are you going to say people complained about getting run over by cars in Oregon with all the hills, terrain, places to go on a large map, along with servers in single digit populations? I would suggest starting public polls to allow the community to vote on topics to be transparent in your decision making. Based on the low populations I am seeing in survival Oregon it feels like some of these decisions are driving people away and not bringing in more.
  21. Less vehicles and no bus stops on Oregon? On a huge map thats already hard to navigate with low populations in its current state? RIP Oregon survival... if you think the populations are low now this is going to kill it, especially those looking for action.
  22. ideas for a true, hardcore survival New Z -First person only: the corner camping/peeking is a tired mechanic in New Z and needs to go. It also kills immersion of a first person experience. To watch someone while not being seen yourself is highly unrealistic. -Enable jump Stamina :the constant bunny hopping is another tired mechanic. Make each jump take stamina for a more realistic combat. -Rare Loot : right now the loot is too common on Survival.. Sniper rarity is perfect but other items like meds and ARs, ammo, etc are far too common to be considered surviving. -Zombies need to be more difficult: jumpin on a box and avoiding zombies is kind of silly. Make them hit you if you are standing on something or add spitters with range. -Crafting: give me a reason to craft with unique items and the ability to gather resources -Bus Stops : allow "some" bus stops so traveling is not so tedious, and if travelling have zombie hordes in the wilderness. This prevents populations hording around one part of the map, like Clearview, for pvp action. -Expand skill tree: more options to give players a reason to farm zombies and provide goals to achive -Add loadouts: It's far too tedious to gear up same loadout manually after death. What you do on the character select screen is hardly considered "surviving" and we need loadouts to make the gameplay experience smoother. -Base Building: allow some form of base building with resources I've brought some of these ideas up before and have been told "but its not like the old War Z"... well I am looking for something fresh and different, while maintaining the classic gun play we used to love. I think most of us are looking for that too. All I see are more complaints and populations on servers dropping. Just my 2 cents..
  23. Can we please get a new skin for the Red Stalker . That stock red is getting old! Green Stalkers would look very nice!
  24. So survival should mean log out to another, safer low pop world to bag your items in a locker? Wow... so hardcore!... pfft. In fact I would argue its harder to survive when players can bus around to parts of the map and kill other players... thats a lot more dangerous than splitting the population up with a large map and areas that are not easy to pass through. Once the bus terminals are gone the pvp interaction are going to drop on Oregon survival and be concentrated in just one spot (like Clearview on Colorado) = yawn. Hell if I had my say surivial would be first person only with jump stamina. Im all for hardcore mode, but I dont think that running for days on end through a map with little to no zombie threat is really called surviving that much. Anyone can log to a low pop and run to the safe zone. I am just trying to take the tedious things out of the game. Take loadouts... survival should have loadouts just like open world. Is it really "survivng" when you have to gear up that same gear from death every time by clicking on inventory items on a character select screen?
