SERVER STATUS: NOT PATCHED (yet)

PATCH RELEASE: SOMEWHERE TOMORROW, Tuesday, August 30, 2016.

Hello everyone,

Before getting into the patch notes, we would like to thank everyone for the recent support. It's amazing to see after the last patch how much people got back into the game, enjoyed again, were happy.. Like it's suppose to be! We are currently doing everything we can to keep the work on the game like in this positive way. We have a very bright future!

Now let's get into some details:

 

Overall Updates:

  • 'DMR Ammo' is now spawning.
  • Beginner Servers will give Double XP so new players can get a little bit of a easier start and get into the game faster.
  • Deleted all private servers that have not been renewed for more than 2 months.
  • F10 is no longer available in pvp servers. (It was never suppose to be available, our excuses)
  • Spread Decrease per seconds of AR has been reset to its previous value.
  • Players can't 'instant reload' by dropping the weapon or skinning it anymore.
  • Fixed / updated some walls that were no-clippable in Colorado / Springvalley. (Grey concrete walls)
  • Fixed a bug where sometimes getting out of a car would sometimes glitch you.
  • Fixed a crash related to private Servers. This crash caused the loot to bug itself too.
  • Fixed a kick that players could abuse to instant-logout when placing a riot shield.
  • Fixed some spelling mistakes in the loading screens.
  • Fixed a problem in the 'sky domes' of some maps that would show 2 suns.
  • Fixed the problem that caused players to randomly die in lounge.
  • Fixed visual bugs in the Home screen for accounts without any characters.
  • Fixed the problem where shotgun ammo would be invisible.

UI Updates:

  • We have reworked the account types (Subscriptions) in the game. Starting off with Premium we added a new extra feature. (on top of the old features) Here are the current + new features for the "Premium Account Subscription":
    • Access to premium servers.
    • Double XP/GD. (Game Dollars)
    • No revive timer.
    • Premium Badge in-game. (Icon in tab list)
    • 10 loadouts 'save' slots.
    • (NEW) Daily reward. (Daily reward is a 'gift' that a player with this subscription gets every day he logs in; 24 hours cool-down)

  • Here are the new features for the "Deluxe Account Subscription":
    • Access to premium servers.
    • Double XP/GD. (Game Dollars)
    • No revive timer.
    • Deluxe Badge in-game. (Icon in tab list)
    • 15 loadouts 'save' slots.
    • (NEW) Daily reward. (Daily reward is a 'gift' that a player with this subscription gets every day he logs in; 24 hours cool-down)
    • (NEW) Daily GC reward. (With a "Deluxe Account Subscription" the player receives 10 GC every day he logs in; 24 hours cool-down)
    • (NEW) Weekly skinbox reward. (With a "Deluxe Account Subscription" the player receives a random GD (That costs GameDollars) skinbox every week he logs in.)

  • Here are the new features for the "Extreme Account Subscription":

    • (NEW) Daily GC reward. (With a "Extreme Account Subscription" the player receives 25 GC every day he logs in; 24 hours cool-down)
    • (NEW) Weekly skinbox reward. (With a "Extreme Account Subscription" the player receives a random GC (That costs GC) skinbox every week he logs in.)

  • Players will get notified every time they get a reward & We've added a 'timer box' in the main menu to show how much time there's left for the next reward. (Note: When the reward timer is on "R" (ready) it means that the next time you log in to the game, the reward will 'pop up' as notification'.)
  • Added a indicator in the UI that will show when double XP / GD events are active.
  • Players can now see in the main menu how much time they have left on their account type subscription.
  • When a player hovers (in the main menu) the "Account Subscription Button" he can click it and will be redirected to the "Upgrade Account" Screen.
  • When a player's subscription almost runs out, he will get multiple notifications saying "Your ... subscription is running out".
  • When a player wins a Battle Royale he will get a notification with the price(s) in the main menu after logging out. (Like the daily reward system)
  • When upgrading to a new account type, whatever is left of your current subscription will be translated as a discount. This way you will not loose any "Premium" or "Deluxe" days when upgrading to "Deluxe" or "Extreme".
  • Upgrading from a 'lower subscription' will automatically deduce the price of an upgrade depending on the days left of your current subscription. To make this more clear we have some examples to make it more clear:
    • When upgrading from premium to deluxe, the price of the upgrade will be discounted depending on how much days your current account subscription (premium) has left. This means that when upgrading, you don't 'lose' any GC.
    • When upgrading the 'time left' will reset and start on "30 days left" again.
  • Marketplace / Global Inventory 'category' icons have been reworked in our new UI theme style. Also another tab is added for skinboxes. Skin recipe's are now in a different tab to skin boxes.
  • Added a option where players can enable or disable loot Physics. (Disabling will increase FPS, but gear loot "hovers" on being dropped) (Option is in the "Options" tab in the main menu of the game)
  • Enemy HP indicator on death should be working perfectly now.
  • The killing spree messages will not change between 4 different depending on the kill-streak size.
  • Skins And Skinboxes have their own tab now. (In-game, Global inventory & Marketplace etc.)
  • Fixed a lot of positioning issues in the trade UI.
  • Fixed many crashes coming from the UI.

Community Updates:

SNIPER ONLY MAPS ARE COMING BACK!

  • Honey badger damage has been decreased from 24 to 23 due community complaints.
  • Decreased the damage on MP5/10 due community feedback.
  • Increased the fire rate of the 'AWM Magnum'. (sniper)
  • Increased the spawn rate of the 'VSS Vintorez' on item box spawns.
  • Increased the fire rate of the 'FN Scar H'.
  • Tweaked the Anti-Macro system. Should respond better to legit players.
     
  • Added a new 'XP farming place' in Colorado v2 called 'Death Valley'. This place is in the north part of the map.
    Based on community feedback after last patch a lot of people have been asking if the 'old lonetree' could come back so players can farm the skill-tree easier. Unfortunately we are not able to bring back a place like that since it has 2 unrealistic things:
    "Farming zombies that drop weapons" & "Farming zombies without any 'hard' aspects'".
    However, we have looked into a new idea: "Death Valley". Death Valley is a new 'zombie farm' place but this time we made it a bit harder, but also a bit more fun. Death Valley is a huge open area with a lot of grass and bushy plants, a lot of super zombies, sprinters, sleepers, etc. The idea is that it's too hard to go there alone, since there's no safe place. Players will be forced to go there in a team, and kill the zombies tactical, since there's a lot and you can't see where they're coming from.
  • Based on feedback from our community we will now focus on more cheaper GC items. This means cheaper GC skinboxes, cheaper items, and a more variety of cheaper GC items, so that the people that have less amount of GC also have the opportunity to choose from a decent amount of items. Please keep in mind we will NEVER add any items for GC that are based on any "Pay To Win" aspect. (We are focusing on cosmetic items only for GC items)
  • Based on feedback from the community we've decided to add a button on the marketplace when a skinbox is selected where players can click on and see what skins are inside the skinbox including rarity, price, etc.
    Together with that, a lot of skins are now also directly purchasable in the marketplace, obviously for a higher price. This gives players the option to either buy a skin directly (which will cost more than buying the skinbox the skin is in) or take a "gamble" and pay 'less' and open some boxes, hoping to get the skin they want.
    ^ We've decided to do this since a lot of players were asking for this. 
    Note: Please keep in mind we will not put ALL the skins that are in skin boxes on the marketplace. There will ALWAYS be skins that players can't directly buy. With this we hope to keep 'rarity, and variety'. This also allows us to use exclusive skins for events, sales, etc to keep it more fun!
     
  • Based on idea's from the community we've worked on a new 'type' of Super Zombie (variant). After a lot of testing we are finally able to (beta) release a new type of 'Super Zombie' called the "Alien Super Zombie".
    Together with this testing and release we've learned a lot about the current zombie system of the game and with this experience we are now able to add new kinds of zombies in the future (Think about an actual "new" zombie thing next to super zombies and normal zombies)
    With this (beta) release we are already 99% sure that this will be the final result of the zombie will be. We might need to do some small changes. We are planning on releasing this new super zombie fully in the next patch.
    This means that for now we've added the zombie only in Colorado at one place. In future the Alien Super Zombie will spawn in more places but for this patch only in one place. (Good luck finding where it is)
    The Alien Super Zombie ONLY spawns at night time, has A LOT more health than a normal super zombie but drops OTHER items than a normal super zombie. The Alien Super Zombie has WAY higher chance of dropping snipers and more rare items.
    We are open for any feedback on the Alien Super Zombie so that we can optimize it for the FINAL RELEASE, next patch.

Skin Updates:

  • The 'FN Scar Camo' is removed from the normal skinbox and is only in the 'Camo skinbox' now.
  • The 'Honey Badger Toxic' is removed from the Battle Royale Skinbox and is now in the Epic Skinbox.
  • The 'MP7 Banana Kong' & 'Mosin Gladiator' are removed from the Battle Royale Skinbox. These skins will be added again in later exclusive boxes. The Battle Royale Skinbox now only contains Battle Royale skins.
  • All remaining 'camo' skins have been removed from the Epic Skinbox and are now only available in the Camo Skinbox.
  • Updated the "ANRG" clan skins descriptions and changed "ANRG" to "AG" on request of the clan.
  • Updated the 'Chainsaw Christmas Edition' recipe icon. (Was still the old one before)
  • Fixed the 'IMI Tar Monster' having the wrong texture.
  • Fixed the 'K. Style NVG Red Dragon' textures. The colors on the texture should now look more 'solid'.
  • Release of the "Hynx Skinbox". 
  • Also, every skinbox from now on has a chance of a karambit. These are the karambits we added to each skinbox:

Item Updates:

  • Updated the description of the 'Modular Aluminium Combat Grip'. 
  • Updated the description of the 'Airdrop Caller'.
  • Updated the item statistics of the Reflex Sight G11. The sight has now the same statistics as the normal reflex sight.
  • Updated the 'Smoo Hat' item name and description. (Go check yourself what it's changed to!)
  • Fixed the FN57 20 ammo storeicon. (updated to the right storeicon)
  • Fixed the 'Riot Shield DDO5' crate FPS/TPS being invisible.
  • Fixed the 'AK47' problem where when skinning the gun sights would 'fly' above the gun and the rail would be gone.
  • Fixed the 'M4A1' iron sight problem flying in the air. We've removed the front part of the iron sight and added a custom new iron sight that fits better with the M4A1 assault rifle.

Map Updates:

Smallville:

  • Lowered terrain quality to improve FPS and player performance.
  • Added some objects behind the fire station so players can get over the fence easier.
  • Fixed brightness of the night time, it's way better for players to see now.
  • Fixed some no-clippable trees. Trees should no longer be no-clippable anymore.
  • Updated collision walls on top of some buildings to prevent players from glitching on top of them.
  • Updated the 'skydome' of the map.
  • Updated the wall behind the police station: there's now a hole in the wall where players can go through.
  • Removed physicx of trees that are outside the playable area to improve FPS and player performance.
  • Removed some of the 'big bushy plants' to improve player experience and PVP.
  • Re-designed / updated the in-game minimap.

Clear V2:

  • Removed 'Frosty Pines' and added 'Rocky Ford' in replace.
  • Removed (partly) shadows of trees to increase FPS and player performance.
  • Lowered terrain quality to increase FPS and player performance.
  • Re-designed / updated the in-game minimap.

Caliwood:

  • Added a secret spot. (Yes this is THE secret spot, this time it's on Caliwood + Colorado)
  • Removed player spawns from bridge in front of the Convention Center. These player spawns shouldn't have been there. Our excuses.
  • Removed / optimized animations of trees to increase FPS and performance.
  • Removed ambient sounds that had wrong or annoying sounds.
  • Removed shadow layers of the 'broken bridge' models.
  • Removed shadows from buildings to improve FPS and performance.
  • Optimized the render distance of objects and trees to increase FPS and performance.
  • Increased the amount of loot 'generally' at the Convention Centre. (Centre of the map)
  • Fixed the de-spawn timer of zombies at the Convention Centre.
  • Fixed the no-clippable tent models at the Convention Centre.
  • Fixed a bridge (model) that wasn't loading when players had fast load enabled.
  • Fixed the Highway where some places the 'barriers' were not textured. (looked full white)
  • Fixed / updated some loot that was still spawning inside item boxes.
  • Fixed the Convention Centre model where the "poster" was invisible from one side and players could abuse this.
  • Fixed the green appartements building, where players could glitch on the roof.
  • Fixed a bug where airdrops would bug and not spawn in Caliwood.
  • Denied the access to high buildings with collision walls.
  • Updated skydome of the 'dusk' setting on the map.
  • Updated collision walls around the map.

Battle Royale:

  • Re-created the lobby to a more simpler one. Old lobby had bugs and missing grass, we felt like the lobby would be better when re-worked. We're still considering ways of making the lobby more attractive / less boring.
  • Updated the minimap to our new 'mini-map design'. Also added the new lobby on the minimap.
  • Fixed / Updated the HD render distance of trees to improve performance and FPS on the map.
  • Fixed the cockpit of the crashed airplane where players could no-clip through the wall and abuse that.
  • Fixed some flying objects.

Colorado V2:

  • Added a new 'xp farm' place. (see community updates for more info.)
  • Added a new secret spot (yes, there's a secret spot now on Caliwood & on Colorado)
  • Removed the old secret spot.
  • Removed physicx of objects that are outside the map to improve performance and FPS on the map.
  • Fixed / Updated the HD render distance of trees to improve performance and FPS on the map.
     
  • Last Stop:
    • Increased the amount of loot 'generally'. So more loot spots.
    • Increased the amount of zombies.
  • Frosty Pines:
    • Increased the amount of loot 'generally'.
    • Fixed some flying objects. (Thanks for the reports.)
  • Norad Military Base:
    • Fixed / Updated loot that was still spawning inside item boxes.
  • Ridgeway Airport:
    • Increased the amount of loot 'generally'.
    • Fixed some flying objects.
    • Removed / Updated grass layers to improve performance and FPS.
  • Hidden Forest Ranch:
    • Increased the amount of loot 'generally'.
    • Increased the amount of zombies.
  • Airplane Crash: (North of Ridgeway Airport)
    • Increased the amount of zombies.
    • Added new super zombie spots.
    • Added new zombie spots.
  • Glenwood Springs:
    • Increased the amount of zombies.
    • Added new zombie spots.
    • Fixed some flying objects.
    • Removed / Updated grass layers to improve performance and FPS.
  • Lonetree Farm:
    • Increased the amount of loot 'generally'.
    • Increased the amount of zombies.
    • Replaced the 'Norad Office Building' with a new enter-able one.
    • Removed / Updated grass layers to improve performance and FPS.
  • NATO Airforce Base:
    • Increased the amount of loot 'generally'.
    • Increased the amount of zombies.
  • VARO Containment Area:
    • Increased the amount of loot 'generally'.
    • Removed / Updated grass layers to improve performance and FPS.
    • Added more player spawns to improve PVP and game-play.
    • Fixed some places where players could get stuck between objects and buildings.
    • Fixed the 'barrack' building windows. Players should now be able to look through the windows from both sides.
    • Fixed / updated the respawn timer of zombies.'
  • Mt. Weather Mountain Stop:
    • Added player spawns to improve PVP.
  • Goblin Peak (SafeZone):
    • Added vault and store access NPC'S.
  • WhiteStone Mountain:
    • Removed super zombie spawns.
  • Campos City
    • Blocked the bus on the bridge where players could stock in it. Players should no longer be able to get stuck in the bus.
    • Blocked a part of the broken bridge where players could get stuck in.

SpringValley:

  • Lowered terrain quality to improve FPS and player performance.
  • Fixed the no-clippable walls at the military area.
  • Fixed the problem that players could not see where they are located on the mini-map.
  • Removed some 'broken' spawns and added some more spawns to improve PVP.
  • Removed 60% of the trees to improve FPS and player performance.
  • Removed 70% of the hedges to improve FPS and player performance.
  • Removed 'Military Office Buildings' due community complaints about players camping too much / easy.
  • Updated / improved terrain quality. Global terrain looks better now.
  • Added more player spawns to improve PVP.

Cliffside:

  • Cliffside got reworked / fixed / updated and will be an 'official' map from now on.
  • Cliffside has random airdrops.
  • Added zombies.
  • Added loot.
  • Removed physicx of objects outside of the map to increase FPS and performance.
  • Removed ambient sounds from the map to increase FPS and performance.
  • Removed some unnecessary lighting to increase FPS and performance.
  • Optimized water planes to increase FPS and performance.
  • Reworked / Updated collision walls around the map.
