  2. Dear Players, We are just rolling out a quick client-sided patch to fix a lot of crashes. This is a "follow up" on last patch where we mentioned that we are now able to look into crash dumps much easier and more advanced. So please keep uploading your crash dumps as that allows us to fix the crashes much faster and roll out more patches like this! The patch is client-sided meaning no server restart is needed. Here are the exact notes: Fixed a crash when a player exits a vehicle. Fixed a crash related to the sound engine / vehicles. Fixed a crash when a player would disconnect from a server. Fixed a bug causing the game to not automatically return to the game-mode that you were playing after logging out. Players who use "One Drive" documents will now have their game data stored in the "AppData" folder instead. (Was causing players not being able to start their game etc.) Please keep in mind the fixes listed above are more "general" and summarized up. These crashes were MAJOR crashes and caused players to crash many times a day just because of these crashes. We hope for the players that do crash sometimes to now crash less and notice a difference.   3. Dear Players, We are very excited to share this new patch with you all. Before we jump into the patch notes we would like to make clear what our goal with this patch is and what we're aiming for in the next upcoming weeks. First of all this patch isn't all about survival and the crafting system. As you will read in the patch notes is that the crafting system that will be released in this patch will be the "basis" of a development we will follow in the upcoming weeks. We just want to get the "basis" out there and work from there while at the same time our community can give us feedback too. Second of all this patch is mainly focused to fix more "general" issues rather than bringing major new content / features. There's a lot happening behind the scenes related to this patch as we have improved our crash report system. Crashes have our number one priority and with this patch we will be able to keep track of crashes a million times better than before. This is the actual main reason for this patch as when this patch is released we will be able to fix crashes better and faster in the future. Now, let's jump into the patch notes. Overall Updates: Fixed a bug that caused the alien super zombie to have the normal textures of the normal super zombie. The alien super now looks like an actual alien super zombie again. Fixed an issue that caused a common town building used in almost every map of the game to randomly be invisible for players. (Some players could see this building, some players couldn't.) Fixed an issue related to the Steam Achievements causing them not to work. Steam Achievements should now work properly again. Our apologies for the issues. Fixed an issue related to the White House building where textures of this building would sometimes not load / glitch. Fixed an issue related to the Airport Tower building where textures of the antenna would sometimes not load / glitch. Also fixed a way players could glitch through a wall inside a non-accessible area. (Original Report) Fixed the animation issues related to the GD Airdrop Caller. Fixed an issue related to the big market building where players could no-clip through a certain wall. (Original Report) Fixed a bug causing the last previewed skin to show instead of your character. Fixed an issue related to the game freezing / crashing upon exiting the game. Fixed a bug in the launcher causing the login button to get stuck. Fixed some UI bugs on the marketplace. Fixed an issue related to stacking gasoline. Fixed a bug in the spawn system causing players to spawn under the ground or outside the map after a failed game join. More beginner dedicated loading screens are being created / already made to improve the experience in the game for starting players and help them to get into the game as easy and fast as possible. Removed "Open World items" from the Survival and Battle Royale marketplaces. Game dollars is the Open World currency and only items that are for game dollars will show in the Open World marketplace. GC items will always show in every marketplace. Separated the marketplaces for each game-mode to prevent confusion. We are trying to funnel beginning players more into the survival game-mode rather than Open World since most beginning players will die faster in Open World from more experienced players. More information about this can be found on the "Survival" part of these patch notes. Doing any inventory actions will now alert you before-hand if the action will reset your character spawn. People didn't seem to know this. This is also a feature we added that's more aimed towards the beginning players. PVP Map Rotation: Smallville has now been removed. (Don't worry, this map will be back soon again.) SpringValley now has the random spawn system. The new map: "District" has been added to the rotation and is now available. (for picture of the map click here.) (For more pictures click here.) Item Updates: Fixed the shank (melee) animation issue that was caused in our latest patch. Also fixed the texture issues and the icon problem. This melee should work properly again now. Our apologies for the problems. Fixed the MP5/SD zombie attraction shoot radius. Zombies should not attract that far to this weapon now when shooting. Added a new country riot shield: "Riot Shield Pakistan". Added the following extra text to the vehicle spawner's description: "(Item can ONLY be used in Premium & Private servers)". This is done so players know before buying them where they can use these items. Added back: "Riot Shield Glad". Updated the painkiller (medical item) store icon. Updated the antibiotics (medical item) store icon. Updated the medkit (medical item) store icon. Updated the bandages (medical item) store icon. Updated the bandages (medical item) DX store icon. Once and for all the "Ballistic Shield" is now finally working properly. This shield will be available after this patch. We will probably add it to the in-game marketplace for open world + make it find-able. Expect an update about this after the patch on our social media channels. Skin Updates: Fixed the "Sig Sauer 556 MMFK" texture problems. (Update) Fixed the "AK-74M Collapse" texture and animations issues. This skin is now ready to be released. Fixed the "EVO 3 Spector" texture and animation issues. This skin is now ready to be released. Fixed the "M9 Bayonet Matte" store icon and animation issues. Fixed the "M9 Bayonet Tiger" animation issues. Fixed the "M9 Bayonet Destruction" animation issues. Fixed the "M9 Bayonet Fade' animation issues. Fixed the "M9 Bayonet Red Strike" animation issues. Fixed the "Heavy Armor Fun Edition" description. Fixed the "K. Style NVG Fun Edtion" description. Added a new QBZ-95 skin to the Fun Edition Skinbox called: "QBZ-95 Fun Edition". Added a new Custom Guerilla skin to the Fun Edtion Skinbox skin called: "Custom Guerilla Fun Edition". Added the Custom Guerilla Toxic to the Mystery and Revolution Skinbox. Added the IMI-TAR 21 Leather to the Mystery and Revolution Skinbox. Added the Famas Tiger to the Mystery and Revolution Skinbox. Added the Desert Eagle Fire to the Mystery and Revolution Skinbox. Added the Saiga Leaves to the Mystery Skinbox and Open World loot. Added the Custom Guerilla Zombies to the Mystery Skinbox and Open World loot. Added the IBA Matrix to the Mystery Skinbox and Open World loot. Added the Heavy Armor Forged Iron to the Mystery and Revolution Skinbox. Updated the "AUG Skully Pink" skin (textures) based on community feedback. NOTE: These skins have been in the game but never got released. We wanted to bring something new to the players but at the same time "clean up" so therefor these skins. (In case you're wondering about a certain skin that you've seen the name of it before.) Updated the "Mystery Skinbox" content. This skinbox was unavailable for a certain period because we wanted to update all the content inside the skinbox. This is done now and the skinbox is available again after this update. Character Updates: Fixed the Average Joe Head Tattoo hair texture issue. (Related to the alpha layer of the texture.) Fixed the Mechanic Female Body Latex store icon. This is also why this body wasn't released in the marketplace yet. This new body will be available in the in-game marketplace after this update. Fixed the Park Ranger character part item names. After this update also all the new Park Ranger character clothes should be available. Battle Royale Updates: Load-outs are now updated. We've added more various and different kind of load-outs. This goes all the way from very strong ones to very simple ones. We hope this will bring more fun and variation to the warm-up game-play inside the Battle Royale lobby's. (Over 20 new load-outs are added) NOTE: We are now planning to update the Battle Royale load-outs monthly to keep them updated and interesting. Survival Updates: OVERALL: The Crafting System. It's there! The "basis" of the crafting system is done! Let's jump into details. The crafting system is a huge new feature for survival our community has been waiting for. It's time to update you all regarding the progress of this new feature. The crafting system was a feature that was suppose to be released together with the survival mode but that didn't happen due the fact that we wanted to release survival earlier. Ever since then we have been working on this new crafting system and right now we are about to release the first version of this feature. Here's a list that explains shortly what's going to be available when the crafting system gets released: - Crafting items will for now only be find-able. Components will be added to the loot tables. As tools are still disabled (so you can't use an axe to cut wood yet) the items will only be find-able. - Full crafting menu is finished and will be released including a list of all craft-able items, a crafting queue (that can be cancelled for example) and more! - Armors, melees, food, medical items, barricades etc is all released and available to be crafted. We are asking you all for your feedback and we would also want to let you know that this is just the "basis" of the crafting system. If you want to know more about our plans and what is coming for the crafting system we recommend you to read the full developer blog about this listed below. Survival is now the first button in the game-mode selection screen and Open World has been moved to the third place. MAP UPDATES: Increased the amount of cars spawning so that players can find them easier and travel around the map faster. (community request.) Component items are now spawning in the map. Also added "nature" spawns where players can find sticks and rocks in the forests. Fixed some flying barrels in Campos City. Fixed some misplaced loot where loot was sometimes spawning inside walls in Campos City. Map Updates: COLORADO V1: Fixed a misplaced rock at Oak Mountain Rest Stop. Fixed a misplaced part of the big house in Frosty Pines. Fixed a navigation mesh problem one of the airport hangar's at Ridgeway Airport. COLORADO V2: Added more collision walls on top of the fire station in Death Valley. Added more collision walls on top of the "Beach House" in Boulder City. Replaced the "Beach-House" in Boulder City with a different one because player were glitching on top of it. Deleted some containers at Ridgeway Airport that were double placed. Removed the collision walls which are in front of the tunnel at Norad Military Base. Fixed some flying rocks around Rifle Ridge. Fixed a glitched fence at Lonetree Farm. Fixed a terrain issue at Emerald Peak where the terrain was too low.' Fixed the big market at Clearview where players could glitch inside through the wall. (on the side of the garage.) CALIWOOD: Fixed a minimap spelling mistake where military was spelled wrong. Deleted some miss-placed walls around the convention center. ROCKY FORD: (PVP MAP) Moved some tree outside the map where players were glitching inside in. SPRING VALLEY: (PVP MAP) Added the full random spawn system. (Like mentioned earlier already) Fixed a misplaced street. Fixed a no-clippable fence at the construction buildings area. With all this said we would also want to let you guys know what we're aiming for for the next upcoming patch. Just to keep you all updated about what's coming. Please keep in mind this is "roughly" and doesn't mean these are the ONLY things that are most likely coming. It's just a simple list: Fix more crashes now that we have our new system. (Read the start of these patch notes for more information regarding this.) Bring a huge (mostly survival related) content patch. Also this includes finishing all the plans we're working on that are listed in the developer blog about the survival crafting system. Make the game more beginner friendly. We are aiming to do all sorts of changes (that won't affect current players of course) to make our game as beginner friendly as possible. For example: tutorials etc. Average patch size: 170 mb. We have been working closely together with these players to figure out what the problem was so that we could fix this as soon as possible.   5. Dear Players, There's a short server restart required to fix some issues. The main issue is that there's a problem with beginner accounts that can't join any servers for the first hour. There's also some server related issues that we have to fix in order to make the game and servers run fine. Downtime will be very short. Fixed a client crash related to the anticheat and another that randomly happens in-game. Fixed the sounds for the female character. Fixed the loadout issues. Fixed some issues with the antimacro, community kept having issues with this. Players with 1 hour of playtime or less can join official servers again, we apologize for this.   6. Dear Players, Here we finally are! The patch is about to be released and we're very excited to share these pre-patch not for tomorrow morning with you. We are sorry it took a little bit longer to finish this patch due summer & longer testing. This patch contains a lot of exciting new things for example: we have finally finished the ping limiter, a new character system rework & new clothes, a lot of new skins, a lot of new items, a lot of new features and a lot of fixes! Now, let's jump into the actual patch notes for more info: Btw, if you have any questions regarding one of the notes, feel free to ask us anything in the comments! Overall Updates: Two new character models are now available! Check out the in-game marketplace for prices. Let us know what you think of these new characters in the comments. (Note: Here's the icons of both of the characters) There's also a new zombie model finished. We would like to NOT share any pictures of this new zombie so that our community can find it in-game themselves. Let us know if you've found any of the new zombies. (Note: The new zombies aren't like a new boss but more like an extra type of "normal" zombies) Note: Another character is still being finished. Stay tuned for that! Airdrops have been buffed globally in every game-mode airdrops appear. Airdrops should appear more often now. The GD Airdrop Caller icon is now updated so that players can see a visual difference between the two different airdrop callers to avoid scamming. Reworked the daily reward item list. Removed more "useless items" and added a lot of new variate in items. Daily reward should reward players generally with better items now. Here's more in-depth notes about the exact changes: Removed the normal skinbox from the daily reward. Added numerous of new different items as daily reward. Increased the spawn protection timer for players after using the bus system. (due fast load) Spawn protection is now 5 seconds longer after using the bus system. Player's stamina will now reset to 100% after using the bus system. Added the "Mystery Skinbox" to the Deluxe reward system. Added the "Alien, Jedi & Hynx Skinbox" to the Extreme reward system. Health Bar Percentage shows an accuracy of up to 0.1% when low health. We thought this would be useful for some players! Players can no longer place down cars or other vehicles while walking. Players can only place vehicles while standing still now. Players can now stack empty weapons even if they had different kinds of ammo inside the weapon. This has been a huge request by our community and we are very happy we were able to make this happen. Player's global inventories will now look way cleaner than ever before. (This indirectly fixes the bug where player's can't stack the same weapon that's empty. Now they are able to.) Players can no longer pick up or place vehicles that are under 5% durability. Beginner servers are now officially and permanently removed. We have announced this a while back to avoid confusion for our community and we recommend everyone that wants to know why exactly the beginner servers got removed to read the following thread: http://forums.fredaikis.com/index.php?/topic/1101-beginner-servers-are-going-to-be-removed/ Beginning players will now have a new dedicated info screen explain the basics of the game / menu and the game-modes. We felt this was needed after removing the beginner servers to help the new players get into the game easier and faster. Please note that every account might have this screen the first time you start the game after this patch. Weapons you get from the daily reward system are brand new, so now it shows properly that its a brand new weapon. (This wasn't showing properly in the UI before.) Fixed a bug related to while being inside a vehicle where the stamina bar didn't update. The stamina bar now visually updates too while driving. Fixed texture issues related to the antenna model. (Used for example in Colorado V2 on top of the airport tower.) Fixed an issue related to the Tactical Weapon Crate where players could bring them from the Open World game-mode into the Survival game-mode. This is no longer possible. Players who did this have been punished. Fixed the "Report Players" loading screen spelling mistype. Fixed the loudness problem of the shooting sound of the mosin. (rifle) Fixed an issue related to reviving characters. Players are now able to revive their characters properly again. (This fix has already been live for a while) Fixed a huge issue that allowed players to glitch inside buildings and other big objects by logging out on top of a riot shield or other high objects. When players try to do this they will now be forced crouched while joining back in the server not allowing them to glitch inside somewhere. Fixed a bug where the time capsule text editor would bug and block you from writing to it. Server Updates: This section isn't entirely related to the "servers" but we just titled it like that to avoid confusion. We would like to explain a major and game-breaking issue that has been happening in the game ever since we released on Steam. The problem here goes as following: (This is also how players reported this issue many times) "New Z has servers in 4 different regions in the world. The problem is that anyone can play anywhere which is causing numerous amounts of issues for players playing against each other from different kind of regions of the world. For example: players from Thailand play on the EU servers and make it harder for EU players to play because they have to fight players that have a bad connection aka high ping." We would like to go more in-depth about the "high ping" part that we mentioned above and we would like to explain what we updated in the game to avoid these issues. So, what happened? Added a ping limit system to the servers. (Please read more information about this below since this isn't just a ping limit system as you think it is.) The ping-limit system that we are using is not IN the actual server but it's in the menu. How does this work? Basically New Z will have 2 type of game servers: 1) Normal server. 2) Ping Limited server. (Limit is dynamically decided by us but on default 100 ms.) After this update half of the New Z server will be type 2 and half of the servers will be type 1. Players are able to see in the menu which servers are type 2 and which servers are type 1. We will explain now how the ping limit system works: New Z checks the player's ping while loading the servers list. When a player wants to join a type 1 server he can do that with no problems but when a player wants to join a type 2 server the game checks if the player's ping is lower than the max. allowed ping on that server. This will allow EU players (that have low ping to EU servers) to always join the EU ping limited servers but for example players from Thailand (who in no matter what they do with their internet connection) will ALWAYS have a higher ping than 100 ms not allowing them to even join the server. Next to that WHILE being inside a server IF you manage to have your ping going over 100 ms (for example when you have lagg) the server will behave normally and not kick you from the server or anything else. This will result that players always have to play in the region that's closest to them. Players that don't like to play in a ping limited server can still play in a normal type server but then there's a chance they play against people with a high ping / bad connection. This will be their own choice. Why haven't we added a ping limit system before? We haven't thought "outside of the box yet" and basically the only solution we saw was an inside-server ping limit system where players would simply get kicked if their ping was too high. We never wanted to do this since this would probably cause a lot of players to leave the game. Now we finally came up with a better system. (Check our social media channels to see when this skinbox will be released) Added new skins in the Hynx Skinbox called "Hynx v2" skins. See below what skins are added in the box. The hat is a skin for the K. Style Helmet. With the new "Revolution Skinbox" coming out we are permanently saying goodbye to the "Epic Skinbox". This means the Epic Skinbox is no longer available in the in-game marketplace and won't ever come back. Chances in the "Epic Skinbox" will stay the same as how they are right now and all skins inside the "Epic Skinbox" will stay inside. The following skins from the "Epic Skinbox" will also be available in the "Revolution Skinbox": Small Invisible Backpack. Military Backpack Invisible. Alice Backpack Invisible. Item Updates: Added a new weapon (for testing still) called: "MP5 SD". Again we are still testing this weapon and it will not be released / available directly after the patch however keep an eye out on our social media channels in case we decide to release it! There's a lot that happened behind the scenes related to this but to explain you all in the easiest way we will only explain what's changed for you guys. The character system rework contains a new system the way characters and character clothes (customization) works. With this new system all character clothes will transform into actual items (kind of like the way the spawn protection colors work now). New character clothes will be available in the future - those will be sold. Most important for players to know is that all the character clothes that are in-game right now will all stay free. (New character clothes that will be added in the future will most likely not be free.) We would like to explain that we haven't reworked the character system because we want to sell the character clothes. The main reason we have reworked the character system of the game is because this allows us to add new characters way easier and work with characters in general easier. On top of that it allows us to start adding a lot of new clothes and other customization's much easier than before. The biggest change is that with this new system when buying a character a player will no longer automatically have all the clothes and parts for that character. Summed up this is a short summary of the change: A lot happened behind the scenes allowing us to add new characters and clothes much easier than before. The character customization screen has been changed / updated to adapt to the new character system. Character clothes and parts are now actual items. Future parts will be available in the in-game marketplace. The way characters work in our engine has been optimized generally. Clothes, parts and characters will stay account based meaning that once a character is bought (can only be done once) you can use this character for every game-mode unlimited amount of times. The same goes for the future-added new character clothes and parts: once a character cloth or part is bought you will have it permanently on your account. WARNING: Everyone's character customization's will be reset after this update! You will still be able to skin your character back to clothes you had, you'll just have to re-do that. Our excuses for this. Here's some more updates we did related to the characters: One of the Average Joe character body's textures have been updated due copyright reasons. Survival Updates: OVERALL: Zombies & zombie AI has been completely reset to "normal". Zombies no longer behave like the custom system we've made meaning zombies in Survival are now exactly as how they are in open world. Keep in mind that they are still head-shot only to be killed. Grouping has now been enabled in survival up to 3 players max. Grouping has been disabled since the release of survival and we felt (based on feedback from our community) that grouping was definitively a useful and wanted feature and therefor we've added it back. MAP: Added back the tint function to the grass. Removed the broken ambient sound which was close to camp splinter. COMING SOON: CRAFTING! There's now independent leaderboards for each game-mode meaning survival will have it's own unique leaderboard. This also means that for the new game-mode, everyone will start from an entirely wiped / clear leaderboard. Isn't that awesome? Battle Royale leaderboard for now, only contains wins. Survival Updates: We're finally here. The release of our third game-mode: survival. This is a moment a big part of our community has been waiting for since the Steam release. We've seen so much hype, demand, questions, and discussions about this new game-mode. We are very excited to finally be able to release survival and even play it ourselves! For survival we have independent patch notes since this is an independent game-mode: RELEASE NOTES: On the official release of survival we will have 10 official servers in each region. For the beta release 10 servers were too much but now with the official release, since premium and normal players can play now, we expect way more people to come. In case servers start to become too full we can always restart and add more. Favorites and Recent added to survival. Players can now use these two buttons for the new game-mode properly. EVERYONE's statistics including player's global inventories WILL BE WIPED (ONLY SURVIVAL GLOBAL INVENTORIES) for the official release. On the official release (after this patch) everyone will start from 0. There will NEVER be a wipe again after this moment. MAP: Fixed the streets in Frosty Pines and Greenwood Springs, they had grass on it with broken physics. Fixed the re-spawn timer of the super zombie in camp splinter. Super zombies should never spawn back instantly. Fixed the global ambient sounds. Re-added the 'old WarZ' ambient sounds back. These should work properly now. Fixed the re-spawn timer of zombies and super zombies. This is done on multiple locations around the whole map. Fixed the loot tables of super zombies. Also updated the loot for them. (Check 'Loot' section of these notes) Fixed a shadow problem when having NVG's turned on. (Check 'Game Play' section of these notes) Fixed some flying objects around Greenwood Springs. Fixed the loot in Sleepy Crest. Also fixed the missing zombies problem here. Fixed the missing zombies problem at Delta Peak Ranger Station. Added back the small military camp on top of the middle bridge in Campos City. (Community was requesting this since the old Colorado V2 from Infestation had this place too.) Removed the radioactive zones for now. (They will come back later when they are entirely finished - should be soon). GAME PLAY: Fixed the small circle shadow if you have night vision on. Backpacks are now different in survival than in open world. Backpacks for survival stay the same, open world have been reverted. As already mentioned earlier, backpack skins will not work in survival. Zombies are nerfed / fixed. Our goal from the start was to make zombies more 'a thing' in survival. By making them harder to fight, they also became more buggy / glitched. We have been aware of this from the beginning. We have now done necessary changes and the zombies should work properly now. Synced the Zombie animations with the damage in Survival. This was a big part of the reported problems. Zombies before were hitting you but you weren't taking damage or zombies were not hitting you and you would take damage. Now zombies only damage you when you actually see them hitting you. Fixed a problem where players could not switch backpack. Fixed the bleeding icon. (icon was showing up as "bleeding" even though the player was not bleeding) Fixed a bug that could cause open world items to end up in survival. Heartbeat sound (when being low HP) is now lowered. (less loud) LOOT: Increased painkiller and bandage spawns. Increased amount of items in the civilian loot group. A more variate amount of items should spawn now. Increased the chances of shovels in the civilian loot group. Added normal bandages to the zombie loot. Players can now get bandages from normal zombies. Added more weapons to the random airdrop loot. Added the civilian NVG to the civilian loot table. Lowered the chances of empty spawns of Super Zombies. Super zombies should drop better gear now. Lowered the chances of silencers. Lowered the chances of custom guerilla. Lowered the chances of attachments. Lowered the chances of alice backpacks. Lowered the chances of m9 NVG's. Removed the desert eagle spawns from item boxes. Removed the excessive force (melee) from spawning. This item will still be available later when crafting is enabled. Map Updates: OVERALL: Lowered the terrain quality for "Potato" and "Low". We are excited to release this patch since it contains a lot of fixes related to the performance of the game. Fast-Load has been entirely reworked and improved and we are finally removing overgrowth from the buildings. The new bus stop system: After a lot of community complaints about the current car system in the game we think we finally have a proper side solution for the issues related to the car system. Cars have always been unstable causing people to crash / lose their cars and were never a good feature from the beginning. Unfortunately we can not simply remove cars entirely from the game since cars are actually very useful for players to go from location to location. We have looked at this and came to realize that the only main reason cars are used is for players to go from location A to location B. Now, we have came up with another idea: A bus system. This system will basicly allow players to fast travel through the maps for GD (Game Dollars). This system will be more efficient and faster than using cars and it will also be way cheaper. Here's how the system will work: Travelling through the map can only be done through marked bus stops. Players have to go here to be able to travel to a different location on the map. The bus stop travel system is available on Colorado V2, Colorado V1 & Caliwood. For travelling through the map GD will be charged from the player's account. Prices will be based on distance but will be relatively cheap. Deluxe account subscriptions can travel for 50% of the GD price, extreme subscriptions can travel entirely free. You can kind of see this feature as a side solution for the car system. However, since the new bus stop system will be much more efficient and cheap we hope players will stop using cars and use the bus stop system. Here's a video about the new bus system: The Fast-Load Rework: Fast-Load has been reworked and optimized in this patch. Fast-load loads models around you in a "smoother way". They load slower to prevent the game from freezing. So instead of freezing for 1-2 seconds many times while entering a big city, you will get slighly lower fps for maybe 5 seconds. So a little lag instead of freezing while loading? not bad huh? Added a UI indicator so you know if fast-load is loading buildings or not. Perfomance / Model Updates: Based on huge demand from our community we have finnally removed all the overgrowth from all the buildings in-game. Overgrowth (the moss added to current buildings in the game) causes models to have extremely high file size. By removing the overgrowth from the buildings in game we are doing a massive performance update. Loading times will be massively faster, better FPS in-game and less crashes. We know by removing overgrowth the look of the game in general gets affected, but after receiving so much feedback and demand from our community we have decided to remove it. Overgrowth will not for ever be gone but for now it will be gone, just to optimize the game by a lot. By removing overgrowth from buildings we also got to fix a lot of issues related to some buildings. We can't really explain which building is which so just to list down we will be using the original file names of the buildings: WZ_CityBuildings: Removed all overgrowth from all buildings. city_building_05_v2 - Fixed the windows of the building, players can no longer jump through windows anymore from ANY side. (Before players could jump through windows but only from one side.) Also fixed a window part where there was no actual room connected to these windows. (You could see inside the building.) Overall Updates: Fixed the missing texture issues of one of the Average Joe body's. Patched Laggswitch. After receiving a lot of complaints from our community we have looked into the Laggswitch problem and developed a system to prevent people using this. For players wondering what Laggswitch is, Laggswitch is basically a program where players would cut out their internet connection for a few seconds so that they can instantly kill other players or teleport or more. Players abusing this have been a major problem in the game and therefor we are really happy we have now developed a system that prevents players from being able to do this. Players using Laggswitch had an advantage over the 'legit' players and that should have never been like that. Now having a bad connection or interrupting your connection is a disadvantage for yourself and will only affect you. Updated the italian language pack. (Fixed some spelling mistakes etc.) Item Updates: Added a new Country Riot Shield: Riot Shield Singapore. Attachments are now disabled on the skinned versions of AK47 too. (We forgot to do this earlier) Fixed the missing texture issues of the pineapple model. Fixed the missing texture issues of the bada boom model. Fixed the missing store icon issue of the Riot Shield NP2. Fixed the missing SVD reload sound. Renamed the "Light Sword Rainbow" to "Pride Sword". Colorado V2 Updates: Fixed the outdated minimap problem. The minimap is now updated again. Battle Royale Updates: Overall: Added a visual indicator on the minimap showing where the next safe zone is going to be. (Players have been requesting this) Here's a preview: Players now have 5 minutes of play time until the first radiation is released instead of 3 minutes. Fixed an issue related to the Battle Royale safezone detection. Safe zones adapt better now avoiding players to randomly all of a sudden be too far away from the safe zone in the beginning. Tropico: Added the missing painkiller med spawns to the medical loot table. Fixed player spawns in the lobby where players would spawn on top of trees. Fixed the train rails models. (Train rails didn't have physics.) Increased attachment spawns due too less attachments spawning in general. Increased loot in the spawn area. (Middle military crate area) Reduced medical spawns a tiny bit since there was a little bit too many medical item spawns. Reduced armor spawns a tiny bit since there was a little bit too many of these either. Zombies no longer drop shields. Zombie loot tables have been adjusted. Removed antenna models from the entire map due texture problems. Arena: Fixed an issue causing players not being able to receive group invites. Now players can group normally on this map. We will keep working hard on improving the game / fixing crashes, developing the new game modes and keep adding new content to the game. Overall Updates: Fixed a texture issue / glitch related to one of the body's of the average joe character. Fixed a crash related to some components materials missing causing clients to crash. Fixed the Xsolla promotion loading screen spelling mistakes for the Thai text part. Fixed a bug related to changing backpacks. Thanks to Robex for translating! Loadouts now also save the backpack. When loading a loadout it will also equip the backpack saved in that loadout automatically. All skinboxes are now always displayed in the in-game marketplace even if they're not available so that players can click on them and see their content. We are very happy and excited to finally be able to release this second Battle Royale map. As some of you might already know is that this new Battle Royale map is a little bit different than the old Battle Royale map. We will go through all the changes and explain everything as clear as possible for you guys. Overall: The new Battle Royale map is a SECOND Battle Royale map meaning that players can now choose what map to play. The new Battle Royale map IS NOT a replacement. The new Battle Royale map is called "Tropico" and the old Battle Royale map is now called "Arena". Added so that when players select the Battle Royale game mode they can choose what map they want to play. Topico Updates & Explanation (The new map): Tropico is a SOLO ONLY Battle Royale map meaning grouping / name tags / clan tags are disabled. Please keep in mind that anyone we see grouping will be punished. This new Battle Royale map has a warm-up lobby too, just like the old Battle Royale map. On the new Battle Royale map player spawns work different: Instead of everyone spawning randomly in the world (like on the old map) everyone spawns in the centre of the map. All players will spawn in a big circle with in the middle a military place with a lot of good loot. Players will be able to join the action instantly by running to the middle or run away into the world and play more 'safe'. We are very excited to see how players are going to play this new kind of Battle Royale. WARNING: Please keep in mind that this is the first release of the map. Expect bugs / glitches, we will do our best to fix those instantly. We will also keep updating the map based on the feedback from our players. Changes will most likely happen. Arena Updates (The old map): Arena now has a grouping system again. In this Battle Royale players can play duo. Colorado V2 Updates: Fixed physics of some opened buildings at Tyler Ranch.   13. Dear Players, We are rolling out a hot-fix tomorrow morning to fix some minor issues related to the patch that we released some time ago. This hot-fix contains a lot of client sided fixes (check notes) and also contains a lot of server improvements and crash fixes. We have worked hard to release this hot-fix as soon as possible so that your game experience becomes better with less crashing and better performance. Please read the end of these hot-fix notes about exact date and time this hot-fix will be released. Overall Updates: Fixed some loading screens that had wrong links. Fixed skydomes on all maps related to the sun not moving. This is now fixed. Fixed many UI visual bugs related to the Battle Royale Character. Fixed some text allignment problems in the trading window. Added a visual indicator to the in-game trade window when the player changes the amount of the traded money. You can no longer change your backpack if your weight or slots will cause items to drop. Improved the look of the in-game killfeed. Players can now visually see with what weapon players kill each other. Removed the normal skinbox from the daily rewards. Removed the double xp from beginner servers. (This was only for the "steam release" and next to that it was causing too much confusion for players combined with premium accounts) Some of the bigger PVP maps now have a clan limit of 10 instead of 5. Players can now only purchase GC with exact numbers. (So now players buying GC through Steam can only buy GC for 1, 2, 4, 10$ etc.. No longer: 1.10$ for example) Updated / Improved Alien Super Zombie loot. The Alien Super Zombie now spawns more variated items including GD skinboxes. Removed some interior props (trash bags) in a building in Varo where players would get stuck due these props. Optimized an item box spawn at Norad and moved it to a different place. Players could get stuck in this position before. Optimized color correction settings and colors of the sun overall for better quality and performance. (Community Feedback) Colorado V1 Updates: Fixed / Deleted some flying rocks around Campos City. Fixed / some flying buildings around and inside Campos City. Improved loot in the north area's of the map. Caliwood Updates: Fixed / Improved some collision walls around the map. Updated physics. Fixed / Improved bridge particles where players could glitch inside. Fixed / Improved more collision walls on top of buildings where players could glitch inside. Removed the bugged "green-yellow building" and replaced it with other buildings. (This building was causing a major glitch) Remember glitching inside buildings is bannable, you can't just walk inside them, that means you have to glich (We should put that on the patch notes as warning) Rocky Ford Updates: Added / Improved collision walls on top of the new added buildings to prevent players from glitching on top of the buildings. Fixed / Improved the restaurant model. This building was causing FPS drops and performance issues. We're very happy and excited to finally be able to show you all the new changes and work we've done in the past 2 weeks. We've received a lot of feedback from our community, streamers, moderators about things and we've tried to come up with the best changes and additions possible. We hope you like this patch! Our Twitter: https://twitter.com/infestationnewz Overall Updates: Day time has been increased and night time has been decreased in all maps that had a day / night cycle. Fixed a problem that where some buildings had windows from outside but on the inside those were not visible. This could be abused. Fixed a bug where buying discounted items would sometimes not allow you to buy them if you have less GC than the original price. Fixed a bug where the VOIP icon would stay "activated" if a player logged out while talking. Fixed the favorite icon for servers. This button would bug sometimes. Players can now add servers to their favorite list without any problems. Fixed a crash related to sounds / sound drivers. Fixed a bug that causes rank skins not to work when the player is not in a clan. (Rank skins are skins only availbe for a certain leaderboard rank for example: rank 1) Fixed a bug where the shields would "shield themselves" from grenade damage. This issue has been corrected. This makes grenades a effective way to destroy many shields that are close together. Rank skins now also work for the "Seasonal Leaderboards". Players that are rank 1 in the seasonal leaderboards are now able to use the rank 1 skins too. (For more information about "Seasonal Leaderboards" please read further patch notes) Crossbows are no longer being able to be brought / used in sniper only servers. Added easter content in preparation for easter. On easter we have some amazing events planned. Stay tuned for this! Added a new server feature that kicks players if they're AFK for too long in a server. (Also to prevent people from time-farming) Removed unused files from public game build to decrease the size of the game smaller. "Item Being Saved" is now entirely removed. This feature gave too many problems and wasn't working how it was suppose to be. When interacting with a locker or the global inventory ingame, things such as hiding the chat or showing your weapon will no longer get triggered when searching. "Rejoin Last" Button will now work even after restarting the game, except for solo servers. (For more information about solo servers please read the "Solo Servers" part of these patch notes) Reworked Spawn Protection. Spawn protection starts counting when your game "renders", aka when you can move/walk/shoot/whatever. From now on, faster pcs won't get more spawnprotection, this way its fair for everybody. Hiding the chat will now save when logging out of a server. This means when you hide chat -> log out -> join a new server the chat will still be hidden. Highly Optimized Player AI Code. Improved the Server Shot Registring AI: Shooting through shields and to players through corners should work much better now. Sandbags, Woodshields, and Barbwire barricades now affect the global Barricade cooldown. UI Updates: Added a searh button to the marketplace. Players can now search for the item they want inside the actual marketplace just like how they can search in their inventory. Added "Streamer Mode" option to the options menu. Players can now enable / disable "Streamer Mode" without having to close the game. Added more information such as the region to "Recent" and "Favorites" tab of the server selection screen. Added a visual indicator to display barricade's health while aiming on it. Fixed a bug related to the lockerUI not being able to show messsages. Fixed a bug that would cause FPS not to update when entering a vehicle. Improved the UI of the character inventory screen. Some buttons are updated / better aligned and quality is improved. Server Updates: Implemented PVP Servers Map Rotation. Please read more at the "PVP Servers Map Rotation" part of these patch notes. Added Caliwood servers to the open world -> beginner servers part of the game. Beginning players are now able to get used to Caliwood aswell. Decreased amount of game servers to keep total server population more pact. This also had to be done because of the new South American servers coming. For official servers both NA and EU Colorado V2 servers have been decreased. Also Colorado V2 AR ONLY server amount has been decreased. For beginner servers both NA and EU Colorado V2 servers have been decreased. Caliwood servers have been added. For all the players wondering about the South American servers. At this moment our servers still haven't arrived yet. They're almost certain to arrive before this patch so the servers will most likely be enabled after this upcoming patch but at this point we are not 100% sure yet. If the servers arrive after this upcoming patch we will do a small announcement as soon as we enable them. We're doing everything we can to get them up ASAP. Item Updates: Updated the store icon of the ASVAL. Changed some colors on the icon to make it look more like how the weapon looks in game. Updated the crate textures of the Ballistic Shields. The crate now has the same color as the actual barricade. Lowered the damage of the VERESK (sub machine gun). This is based on the balance with the other sub machine guns. Lowered the damage of the FAMAS (assault rifle). Now that the gun takes stanag ammo it's generally more overpowered. Medium Armor Desert & Medium Armor Forest now have the same statistics as the normal Medium Armor. Fixed the Ballistic Shield 3D model problems. The shield is now ready to be released. Added a new item: (This is also directly a new type of item) The Tactical Weapon Crate. The Tactical Weapon Crate is a new type of crate in Infestation: The New Z. This is the first crate that's released of it's kind. This crate can be opened in-game just like opening a skinbox. After opening the crate it will dissapear and give the player a weapon / item in return. Renamed "12 Gauge Ammo" to "Shotgun Shell 8x". See further notes for more details why. Updated the description of the Double Barrel shotgun. (Added that the double barrel shotgun can only use Shotgun Shell 2x ammo because it has 2 barrels and no clip.) Mossbergs and KT Deciders (shotguns) are now also able to use "Shotgun Shell 2x" next to "Shotgun Shell 8x". The Double Barrel is still only capable of using "Shotgun Shell 2x". When reloading a Mossberg or KT Decider there's now also a new animation that only loads 2 shotgun shells instead of 8. (Dynamic based on what ammo you load) The VSS Compact is no longer silenced. We are still looking into solutions to give this gun 'a better place in the scene'. We don't want to make the gun too OP but definatly worth to use. The VSS Compact no longer has a silencer attached to the front barrel of the gun since it's no longer silenced. Skinned personal lockers are now personal lockers instead of lockers that use a code. The skinned lockers will be available in the marketplace after this patch. Item Simplification: Based on feedback from our community about a "too much variaty of different items" leading to a confusion sometimes we've came up with a process we will follow in the upcoming patches. We also feel very limited when deciding to add new content since we don't want to "flood" the game. With the process of simplification we want to rework certain items / ammo and try to group them up in a way they make more sense. While reading this we think that this can be quite complicated to understand so we recommend you to read the first notes as a start to get an idea of what exactly we mean: (Already listed above but worth to mention again:) "12 Gauge ammo" is now renamed to "Shotgun Shell 8x". Shotgun Shell 2x can now also be used in a MOSSBERG or KT Decider. This to make the whole understanding of what ammo goes in what gun easier. Added a new type of armor: The MTV (This is a basic version of the MTV armors) All old MTV armors have been changed to MTV Basic. The old 'skinned' versions will be released later as actual skins. We ask our community to come up with ideas how we can proceed with this process. If theres any guns that should use different ammo or ammo we should remove / change we ask you to suggest it to us! In the end we just want to make the game easier to understand / play but also leave space to add new guns and items without a limit. Marketplace Updates: We've received a lot of feedback from our community regarding skins. Some people were complaining there are too many skins in the game, some people were complaining there hasn't been any new skins since forever, and some said prices are too high etc. We've discussed this and came up with a solution, a new system, that will be fit for everyone. Summed up there's basicly too many skins available to players. Some skins are too old, some new, it can be very confusing this way. Based on this feedback we've came up with the following solution / system: There will from now on only be a limited amount of skin recipes available instead of everything being always available. We will rotate the skins daily meaning new / different skins will be available every day including discounts. Some skinboxes will be removed forever from the marketplace. (They might come back on certain events sometimes) Skinboxes will rotate in the marketplace instead of everything being available at once. We plan on making different boxes available for different/certain periods. This will leave us with more space to actually release new skinboxes instead of "flooding" the marketplace with skins. Skinboxes will increase in their value. Some skinboxes will become legacy. This will also leave space for us to release boxes that can be cheap or have prices more based on the actual quality of the skins. Skin Updates: Fixed the Mauser SRG Blue skin. This skin will be released soon in an upcoming skinbox. Fixed the Mauser SRG Pink skin. This skin will be released soon in an upcoming skinbox. Scopes now also work on this weapon. Fixed the Custom Guerilla Red Strike skin textures. We are not sure yet how / when this skin will be released. Fixed the Light Sword Rainbow. Expect this skin to be released soon. Fixed the Blaser Neon Dragon glow. The skin wasn't glowing properly before. Fixed some texture issues of the "GOSU" clan skins. Updated the textures of the "M107 Gold". The skin looks more gold now. Updated the textures of the "M107 Black". Updated the textures of the "Minicabra's". Also updated the icon. Added "Event Skins". We are not sure how these will be used but the actual skins are already added. These skins are simple red / blue colored skins for armors helmets and can be used to make teams in events. Solo Servers: As many of you already know is that "Solo Servers" are finally here! (If you have no idea what "Solo Servers" are please read this dev-blog: http://playnewz.com/getpost.php?id=60003) "Solo Servers" have been a big demand of our entire community but also from a lot of streamers streaming our game. Until a week ago we didn't really had an idea how Solo Servers would work but we came up with a strong idea: "Solo Servers" is an idea originally from a group of streamers where players can ONLY play solo. This aims to avoid bigger groups while playing the game and fighting against individual persons only. Here's some features summed up: There will be a new button added under the 'Open World' part of the game. This button will be called "Solo Servers". When clicking the "Solo Servers" button the player will NOT go to the server selection screen but will immediately join a random chosen server. No grouping + no group tags. Players playing in these type of servers will not have the ability to invite anyone to group. No clan tags / no clans. This is all disabled. Original Colorado V2 Servers only. You do not 'lose your spawn' when playing on official Colorado v2 servers and switch to Solo Servers. When joining a solo server it will not show anywhere what server you're on. (Basically players don't know what server they're on themselves) When dying / logging out of a solo server, it will not show up at the 'Recent Servers' tab what server you were on. Players will have the ability to join back into their server after dying by clicking the 'Rejoin Last' button. This way players still have the ability to join back the server after dying to pick up their loot. If you have further questions about this new open world game-mode we recommend to write all your questions in a comment on these notes or just try the new "Solo Servers" out yourself! Seasonal Leaderboards: YES! Seasonal Leaderboards are finished! Many have asked for this and we thought it was time to bring the leaderboards and competitve level of the game to a next level. With this said we think these seasonal leaderboards will bring a lot of fun. Seasonal Leaderboards will work as the following: Periods / time of a season + season name will be decided by us manually. We will create our own seasons and based on that combine them with events and prices. Seasons can take up to a month time or can be only for a few days. It's just what ever we decide depending on the event. Statistics in Seasonal Leaderboards only count statistics from Official Servers and Solo Servers. When no season is active the seasonal leaderboards tab in the menu will say "No seasons active". From here we will start working on special events related to seasons with cool rewards, maybe even seasons that are only for 1 day. We're planning on even adding rankings in future. We'll see what comes based on this! New Reputation Ranks: Based on feedback from the community and our moderators we've decided to add new ranks to both the postive and the negative side of reputation. On the postive side we added: +300000 rep - "Genius" +400000 rep - "Devin" +500000 rep - "Sheriff" On the negative side we added: -1250000 rep - "Warrior" -1500000 rep - "Evil" -2000000 rep - "Cannibal" PVP Servers Map Rotation: Based on the feedback received from the community the past week we've decided to implement the PVP Servers Map Rotation. (Link to poll: Rotations will be ONLY done in the "PVP Servers" part of the open world part of the game. Rotations will be done every patch, for now, until we create a way to change the rotation live. There will always be 2 maps only active and every map 1 or more type. (Type is: AR ONLY, SNIPER ONLY & HYBRID) So in the end there will always be 6 servers or more. Rotating the PVP maps of the game gives players more excitement about "what map is coming next time", a more variated PVP environment, less confusion about "too many different maps in the game" but it also gives us the ability to add new PVP maps without overflooding the amount of PVP servers. We hope to follow a certain pattern with a schedule where and when we switch maps in the future. For now it will work in the way explained. We would like to make clear (also based on what we explained with the "Seasonal Leaderboards") that statistics still count for PVP servers but only for the ALL TIME statistics so not for the Seasonal Leaderboards. Colorado V2 Updates: Added more item spawns in places where there was no loot spawning in Death Valley. Players can no longer acces the roof of the Beach House in Clearview. Fixed a problem in Boulder City where some buildings had windows where players could only look / shoot through from one side. Players can no longer acces balconies of "green-yellow" appartment buildings. Collision walls are updated. Added a new secret spot. Added a military tent on top of the convention center to give players better protection / cover while PVP-ing. Removed the "Infestation" poster from the convention center building due collision / physics problems. Alien super zombies are now also spawning in Caliwood. We will not tell you where they spawn yet. Good luck finding them! Event Map Updates: Reworked all 4 of the "Deathmatch" area's. Some are entirely reworked while some are just improved. This is all done based on feedback from the community. Added vault (Global Inventory Acces) NPC's and store NPC's to the lobby of the map so players don't have to log out to grab other items out of their global inventory. Added signs indicating the names of the fighting area's and teams to improve usablity of the map. Players participating in events now know better where to go. {*}The lobby and "walk" area's are now safezone to improve general flow of the events done on this map. Fixed physics of the 'wooden walls' objects that are used on 2 area's of the map. Players can no longer walk / shoot through. Fixed flying objects throughout the entire map + removed misplaced objects. Optimized freeze time on the map. Time is now frozen at 11:00 AM for a better general look of the map. Optimized shadows / terrain / lighting on the entire map. Improved performance and FPS. Also decreased loading time needed to load the map. Updated terrain texture to a better looking one. West Oaks Updates: Added more collision walls on top of the motel buildings to prevent players from glitching on top of the roof. Spring Valley Updates: Fixed some terrain issues. Added, moved and improved player spawns. (Some spawns were too much in the open / bad location) Optimized map / changed some settings to increase FPS and performance. Battle Royale Updates: Increased the spawn rates of medical items. Removed krugers / kruger ammo from the loot spawns. These items will no longer be in Battle Royale. Removed the Bizon / Honey Badger from the loot spawns. Also these items will no longer be in Battle Royale. Moved / fixed some spawns where players would spawn in the middle of a group of zombies. We are planning on reworking the loot in the current Battle Royale map as soon as the new Battle Royale map is released. We have removed certain items from spawning to make the flow and gameplay of a Battle Royale easier and faster. Loot will be reworked / optimized on the new upcoming Battle Royale map.   15. Dear Players, We're rolling out a quick, unexpected medium sized patch to fix some issues and update some things. The main reason this patch is rolling out is so that our AntiCheat name in the game is renamed. This had to be done and we took this opportunity to also patch a lot of other things. Before we jump in the patch notes we first want to inform / update you all regarding the 'private server issues'. If you're unaware of our most recent announcement that also contains information about the issue, please read this first: http://steamcommunity.com/games/555570/announcements/detail/680444679526708202 Servers are becoming more and more stable and look finally to be a bit 'calmed down' so the problem should slowly be resolved. Now, let's get into the patch notes: Overall Updates: "MLG AntiCheat" is now officially renamed to "Fredaikis AntiCheat (FAC)". Based on community feedback the machete (melee) is now more common. Improved the alien super zombie textures. Fixed texture bugs and the eyes from the zombie are now glowing red. Fixed some city buildings that did not have double sided glass in the windows so players could only see through from one side. Fixed the city building (2 story thats also used in the Battle Royale map) where there was a window players could shoot through from one side. Increased the Private Server Cooldown for it to go back to "sleep" mode. The reason we've done this is to prevent players from losing their airdrops. It would happen sometimes that a player would call in an airdrop and crash. The server would go too fast in "sleep" mode before and therefor caused the airdrop to despawn before the player joined back in and then lose the airdrop. This should no longer happen. Fixed a bug that would not let a player buy certain items when in discount. (For example: Player has 2100 GC, normally the item he wants to buy costs 2500 GC but in discount it would be 2000 GC. The player could still not buy the item. This is fixed now.) Fixed a visual bug when trying to drop items just after logging in to a server. Fixed a bug related to GC purchases with Steam. Players would sometimes get the error "You do not have enough playtime to buy over X amount". Zombies will no longer no-clip through airdrops landed in a map. UI Updates: Updated the menu background to a new one. Improved the clan / group arrow in-game that would show on top of a player when he is in your clan or group. This arrow would sometimes 'bug' when the other player in yourm clan or group would be very far away. The arrows are now centered and should now always be on top of the player itself even in far distances. Fixed a UI bug that caused backpacks somtimes not to show the right amount of slots. (This was glitched before) Removed the pickup button for code lockers. Only devs can pick up code lockers now. The reason we've done this is because code lockers are only for events and not available for public because players could potentially use code lockers for black market / glitch / dupe purposes. We want to avoid this. Code lockers will only be used in events. Fixed a visual UI bug in the main menu where a player's GD (Game Dollars) would sometimes glitch and show minus. (Player had to restart the game before to fix it) Added a limiter while buying an amount of items in the marketplace. When players type any higher number than "999" now it will automaticly set to "999". Item Updates: Fixed / Updated the textures of the zipper of the Adventure Backpack. (They were white before, now they're colored) Fixed / Updated the textures of the Valentine Heart. (This was causing the 'black character bug') Fixed / Updated the textures of the third person model of the M107. Textures are now the same color as in the first person model. Fixed the detection radius of zombies on the VSS. Since this sniper is silenced only zombies that are very close aggro upon shooting. Fixed the detection radius of zombies on the OTS-SVU. (Icon we used before was very low quality) Increased zombie detection radius on air horns. More zombies in a bigger area will aggro now when using an air horn. Increased zombie detection radius on the AWP. Since this a heavy sniper with a lot of damage the detection for zombies is a bit higher than for other snipers. Decreased the damage reduction on the Medium Armor. (It was just as good as a Custom Guerilla which wasn't suppose to) Decreased the damage of the SMG's in general. Some SMG's were way too strong compared to assault rifles. SMG's now do less damage in general and maintain their other statistics. We will see how the change will go from here and based on that do more changes. Changes are for: Bizon, UZI, MP5, Mp7, P90, P90S & Scorpion. Consumables: Apple, Banana, Carrot, Lettuce, Pineapple, Potato, Tomato, Watermelon & Bag of Chips now have descriptions. The difference between the P90 and the P90S now is that the P90S has a higher decay - it does more damage on longer distances. The VSS Compact is now using ASVAL ammo instead of VSS ammo. VSS ammo was way too expensive for that gun. The Famas is now using Stanag ammo instead of Famas ammo. All Famas 25's have been changed to Stanag 30's & All Famas 50's have been changed to Stanag 60's. Famas ammo is no longer in the game. Read the note above here for more information. Reduced the FN FAL recoil. Based on community feedback we've made the weapon a little bit better in general. Reworked the FN FAL icon. Also reworked the DMR Ammo icon. We are considering reworking the entire model later. Added a new weapon: The QBZ 95. This weapon is similar to the MASADA and also uses STANAG ammo. The QBZ 95 will spawn at every military location in the game. Skin Updates: Fixed / Updated the Valentine Skinbox description. Fixed / Updated the Heavy Gear Chrome textures. (reverted) Map Updates: Battle Royale Updates: Increased total sprint time in Battle Royale, and increased the sprint regeneration to both match the same as having full skill tree. Lowered the chance of getting a blaser (sniper) from an airdrop in Battle Royale. This gun was / is way too overpowered in this game mode. Fixed an airdrop spawn point where the airdrop would sometimes land on top of a building. Improved the quality of the terrain on low settings. FPS / Performance should also be better now. Colorado V2 Updates: Fixed a part of a brick buildings in campos, which was not doublesided. Removed all the bushes at Death Valley and replaced them with Trees. These bushes were causing problems and also didn't really fit the terrain style anyway. Fixed some flying objects at Death Valley. Fixed some terrain issues in Clearview. There shouldn't be any grass groing through the floor of buildings anymore. Fixed a terrain issue in Boulder City where players started swimming in the middle of the city. (Glitched) Colorado V1 Updates: Removed an object which was causing a black texture glitch while aiming in at that location. (Helicopter crash north of Clearview) Improved player spawns in Campos City. Removed some objects which were placed bellow the terrain and that were causing freezes/crashes. Fixed some flying rocks at Fallsdale where people could no-clip through and glitch inside. Fixed a terrain issue in the big market in Clearview. Fixed a terrain issue infront of Boulder City where players could get stuck while jumping in the water. The Alien-Super-Zombie will spawn now in Frosty Pines and Crystal Lake Resort. Caliwood Updates: Fixed a glitch at certain bridges in the city where players were able to no-clip under / in them. SpringValley Updates: Added some more protection / cover for players in the open fields around the town (park and parkinglot) based on community feedback. Improved the quality of the terrain on low settings. FPS / Performance should also be better now. Added 'jump up' objects through out the whole map so players can move across the map easier. This is also based on feedback from the community. WestOaks Updates: Fixed some flying objects through out the whole map. Fixed some issues on the terrain. This should make it easier for players to get into the town. Added rocks in the lake next to Clearview so players crossing have more cover instead of just being in the open. Added jumpups at the white house in Clearview. Players can now get on top of the side roofs without having to glitch / boost. Added jumpups at the Garage in Clearview. Players can now get on top of the roof from 2 places. Added jumpups at some closed off area's in VARO Military Base so players can jump out of the closed of area. Added a small military area in Clearview in between the new bank building and the garage to give players more cover while pvp-ing in this area.   17. Dear Players, First of all we would like to excuse ourselves for the fact that this patch is a bit later than expected. There has been some complications and fixing the 'left peek' problem took longer than expected. Even though that this patch isn't that big compared to others, we still wanted to release the patch before the weekend because it contains a fix for the 'left peek' problem and a lot fixes for crashes. For the players wondering what we are working on for the upcoming patches we have added a small 'working on' list at the bottom of our patch notes. We plan on adding a 'working on' list on every patch note from now on. Now, let's get into the notes for this patch: Overall Updates: Fixed the 'left peek' issue. We have reworked the crouch animation. For all the players that do not know what the 'left peek' issue is: Left peek was abused by players while peeking from behind a shield or wall. Players could abuse this because when doing this their head was not visible to the player they were shooting, making it impossible for the enemy player to respond. This is now fixed! Fixed a major crash related the the skin menu that causes "unable to reset D3D Device". This should no longer happen. Fixed a crash related to "unloaded more DYNAMIC decal textures than loaded!". Fixed the 'items being saved' bug. This would sometimes happen when a player would get killed, and logs out too fast. Fixed Item Color Picker in-game + It's now available / fully working in full-screen mode! Fixed overall server connection issues. We've fixed a major problem that would cause servers to be lagging at least a few times a day. This is now fixed. Optimized the engine, increasing fps and decreasing cpu load when a lot of players are nearby. Bare hands no longer spawn decals on hit. Sound and particles are still default. Melees now spawn decals on hit. This means that when hitting a metal object with a melee it would spawn metal particles and sounds. (Just like bullets) Improved the FastLoad system to cause less visual bugs (texture bugs), and less load-lag while being ingame and running around towns. The FN Fal no longer spawns inside item boxes. The gun is not considered to be worth to get out of an item box since its relatively common. Alien super zombie loot has been updated. It now does not drop ANY AR's, more snipers and it has a chance of dropping a karambit. Code lockers are now working! We have added a second variant of the personal locker called: "Personal Code Locker". This locker can be accesed by any player with a code set by the player that placed it. We plan to use these lockers for events but we also want to courage streamers to use these lockers for their own events. Skinned lockers will also be sold in the marketplace. More information about the added skinned code lockers can be found under 'Item Updates'. Major improvements and fixes have been done to the material types of objects. When shooting certain objects a lot of wrong decals were displayed. This is now fixed. UI Updates: Updated the social media loading screen; fixed the discord link. Added a new loading screen that informs players that trading on the black market for real money is not allowed. Added GC and GD amount in the in-game inventory UI. Players can now see how much GD / GC they have while being in-game. Marketplace Updates: Riot Shield Svena69 has been reduced in price from 20.000GD to 5.000GD. Based on feedback from the community we will now also list out the main things that we are working on BESIDES fixing crashes and problems: We are working on a new second Battle Royale map. We are aiming to have it done for the next upcoming patch. We want the map to be special and we also want to include some new models and assets. A special 'event' map is being made where streamers can host their own events for their community's. This map will contain special area's to fight and do different kind of events. We are still looking into a solution for the 'red hitmarker' problem. For now we advice players to use the headshot sound if they want a confirmation that the headshot sound landed. We have started working on the survival AND the competitive game mode. For survival the map is almost done, we hope to have the map done soon so that we can start showing the community how it will look like.   18. Dear players, It's been a while since our last patch / game update. We are sorry for this. Christmas, new year came through, but we're fully 'back to business' now. Let's get into the patch notes: Overall Updates: Global anti-cheat updates. Beginner servers limit is now 72 hours. Players can play on beginner servers up to 72 hours now, instead of 24. 'Streamer Accounts' are no longer able to join beginner servers. 'Streamer Accounts' no longer have a legendary icon in front of their name in the tab list. 'High jump' is now available in private servers again. Christmas trees have been removed from all the maps. Christmas zombies have been removed. The 'FN FAL' and 'Scar H' are no longer usable on AR Only servers as those 2 guns are now considered as snipers. Fixed the amount of glow on light swords and other glowing objects. - The glow amount is now reduced. Fixed a major freeze / crash cause in maps: Caliwood, Colorado V2/V1 & Battle Royale. (In rd3log it would spam something related to 'terrain tiles') This is now fixed. Fixed a major bug that caused random snipers to have random skinned scopes. Fixed the Admin Kick Button for private servers on the menu. Fixed the bug where players couldn't delete characters and got 'error code: 5'. Item boxes no longer have a chance of spawning heavy armors. Each terrain type (when shooting) now has it's own particles and sounds. When you shoot snow, the bullet hit partlicle would look snowy. When you shoot water you now see water partcles etc. Before the game would use 1 default particle for every terrain type, now it will use different particles depending on what terrain type the player hits. Reworked bullet impacts for each terrain type. When shooting metal now it actually shows random metal bullet hits, and when shooting wood it actually shows random wood bullet hits, & more. Before it would ONLY ALWAYS show the concrete bullet hit. Fixed a bug that players could abuse to join AR / SNIPER ONLY servers by joining through the ''recent servers" tab. Coming soon: There will be more information about this subject as soon as the servers are down. UI Updates: Added a new feature in the global inventory in the main menu: players can now search for items in their global inventory. They can either do this by opening their global inventory and start typing or by clicking on the 'search' icon. ^ This search function is also available in the in-game vault. (when accesing global inventory while being in-game) Added a second screen after players clicking on 'Battle Royale'. The reason we added this button in between is to avoid players from accidently clicking a Battle Royale and then instant join. Now if they click on the Battle Royale button accidently they still have a chance to click on 'back'. This screen in between is also going to be used as a 'map selection' screen later when we finished our second Battle Royale map. (This map is still work in progress but coming soon!) Updated the menu UI background and removed the christmas themed one. Added to the options menu: a button to enable / disable the client-sided headshot feedback sound. (For players that don't want to hear this headshot sound confirmation) Added to the options menu: a button to enable / disable the sprint sensitity change. In the past we've released an update that changed this but some players liked it and some didn't. That's why we added the option so players can decide themselves. ^ Please note that these 2 options are only changable in the menu OUTSIDE of game servers. Added a little SafeZone icon next to a players nametag if they have spawnprotection. Fixed a Crash Related to Accepting Rewards. Spawn protection colors are now changeable and for sale. They can be bought in the marketplace and set on the 'customize' screen of your character. Each character can have their own spawn protection color. NOTE: Please keep in mind that this is first release and some colors might not be entirely perfect. If a certain color is 'broken' please let us know so we can update / fix it. Available colors are: Red Blue White Yellow Orange Grey Purple Light blue Pink Sound Updates: Added 2 new sounds for headshots. 1 plays locally and is an instant feedback on a player as soon as he shoots a headshot. The other headshot sound plays when you get shot in the head, your friends around you will also hear this. We suggest players to test the new sounds out themselves to fully understand when what plays. Also something cool to know is that the headshot sounds ONLY plays when the server registered the headshot. Added more variaty in the 'near miss' shots. (When bullets hit next to you these sounds play) Reduced overall car engine sound. This sound was originally way too loud and is now reduced. Reduced local sound of the TEC 9. This sound was also way too loud compared to other guns. Each terrain type now has its own sounds based on what terrain you shoot. Also particles have been updated.   19. STATUS: Dear players, With the servers going down shortly we also take this opportunity to perform a patch. Here's more information about the server downtime: Servers will be down for around 2-3 hours. This is just an estimation, this can be done earlier or can take longer depending on how fast everything goes. We are doing everything we can to get the servers back up again as soon as possible. Here are the patch notes: Overall Updates: The World Skinbox is removed from the marketplace and now a find-able skinbox. The super zombies have a chance of dropping this skin box. Fixed various server crashes and improved overall stability. Fixed a bug where the aircraft that drops the airdrop would descend with the airdrop. Fixed a bug where the friend invite notification would be sent to yourself, instead of the friend you actually added. Fixed the issue with the Hunter character where one of the heads did not have a neck. This model is now updated to a head with a neck attached. Fixed the issue where one of the Ex Cage Fighter body's did not match the heads. This is now updated. Fixed a no-clip bug related to sneaking. Optimized some parts of the game, which were very CPU intensive. Player Spawn Fix: We lowered the radius of the "Danger-Zone" in the spawn system from 600 meter to 250 meter. Now people wont spawn in another other town after reviving. To make food a bit more useful especially in the Battle Royale game mode we have buffed the statistics of food: All food now either heals or gives stamina, some food more than other food. Improved overall textures and terrain quality. Sprinting no longer has a different mouse sensitivity. Removed the camera limit while sprinting. Karambit icon, model and animations have been reworked. We are also going to add a special 'inspect' animation for the karambit only but for now this is not live yet. The new karambit animations are way better quality than the old ones. We will rework all skinned karambits for next patch and also switch those to the new animations. For now, only the normal karambit is updated. Added a streamer mode, where the server is hidden both in the loading screen, and the PauseUI (map, inventory, etc). To enable this mode, please go to your game settings (Documents/FredaikisAB/NewZ/gameSettings.ini) and put enable_stream_mode to 1. Fixed a bug where shields could not be placed on top of each other. UI Updates: Added a new button in the "you are dead" menu to disconnect. Added to in-game chat: hotkey's to each channel tab. This makes it easier for new players to understand what button to press to switch chat channels. Community Updates: The forward grip and modular arm combat grip are now both better in their own way. The forward grip has more reduced recoil, while the modular combat grip has more reduced spread. (Differences are very small though but this gives players the option to choose, what they like the most) Item boxes rework: We have reworked the item box system. Finding an item box should be rewarding for players and feel as an achievement, therefor we have reworked the entire system: Item boxes will from now on ALWAYS drop a rare sniper. (The chance they give a rare sniper is higher than any other place to find snipers. Item boxes are THE thing to go for if you want rare snipers) Item boxes will ONLY spawn at military locations in Colorado V2, V1 and Caliwood. Bigger locations have more, smaller locations have less. Here's some tips and facts about the new item box system: Item boxes are hidden, they are going to be hard to find. Remember the places where you find one because they will not ALWAYS spawn at that place. Item box spawns are unique. There's around 10 spots for them to spawn in an area, but only 1 of the spots will have it spawning. This means that in the beginning it's going to be very hard to find out where all the spots are. Once you get the hang of it and know all the spots, it's just a matter of checking all the locations to see which one spawned. Marketplace Updates: Added 'Riot Shield ZB' and is now available in the in-game marketplace. (Zombie Barricades) Added 'Riot Shield Dr4g0on' and is now available in the in-game marketplace. (Dr4g0on) Added 'Riot Shield MMFK' and is now available in the in-game marketplace. (MMFK Clan) Added 'Riot Shield PSH' and is now available in the in-game marketplace. (Moderator) Car spawners are now 50% cheaper and a buggy spawner is now GD. We are aware of the issues with cars and because of that we have made them cheaper. The AK47 is now capable of having side attachments attached. (Rifle laser, Rifle flashlight) Fixed the Riot Shield GrankGrunz description. Fixed the M200 fire rate. The sniper now shoots as fast as all the other snipers. Highered the normal M4 damage to 23,5. Highered the mosin damage to 55 and uppered the fire rate to 50. Battle Royale Updates: Fixed a bug where an airdrop would drop outside the safe radius in Battle Royale. Fixed a bug where pressing the Battle Royale button, when the Battle Royale servers are full, would make the button bug out. The position of the Battle Royale safe zone will only be revealed after 3 minutes, when the radiation starts. This prevents players from camping at the start. Added new radiation on-screen effects to the Battle Royale. When players are in radiation they now have a better visual feedback. Death sounds have been disabled in the Battle Royale lobby. (Ammo was flying in the air LOL) Fixed a bug where the grenade would attract zombies when landing on the ground, before the explosion. Skill tree will no longer count in Battle Royale as this is a unique game-mode next to our 'Open World' that doesn't have anything to do with Global Inventory / character statistics. Autorun (Activated with NUM-LOCK key) now actually makes your character run instead of walk. Airdrops will now attract zombies up on landing. Super zombies have been tweaked. No minor changes. Reviving your character (for all accounts without premium) no longer costs GC. Players can revive their character for 15.000 $ / GD. New accounts can now also play Battle Royale without any time limit. There's still a time limit for other servers. Fixed the Battle Royale camera shake bug. If you still have this problem, fully empty the selected character's inventory. This will fix the problem. Battle Royale Updates: We've done some tweaks to the Battle Royale game mode to improve PVP and make the game-play a bit faster. Also we have improved the safe area system: The overall system is now smarter. The safe zone radius now decreases depending on where the remaining players are located, for example: When the safe zone radius is 500 meter, but all the players are in a 200 meter radius, the safe zone radius will decrease to 200 meter on the next decrease tick. This is to make overall game play faster without having players waiting and camping everywhere. The safe area radius now decreases faster. The safe area radius now starts a bit bigger. Players can now see the safe area radius in the minimap. Skilltree has been disabled in Battle Royale. Skilltree is only used for our Open World game mode. UI Updates: For new players coming to the game we've done some UI changes: Players can now attach any attachments by dragging the attachment in their inventory on top of their gun. Weapons now show in the description of the item what ammo can be attached. This to avoid any confusing about "What ammo is for what gun?". Added a UI indicator reminding you to reload when your ammo is critically low! Community Updates: Loot and item spawns will be LIVE tweaked somewhere tonight. We will add new items that don't spawn yet, and do some tweaks. Don't worry, there won't be a nerf or anything. More information with details about what exactly changed will be posted later. We announced some time ago that the gun would be able to have a forward grip attached but unfortunately we have to take that back. The AUG is not capable of having a forward grip attached. Fixed some texture bugs related to the IBA Sand, Medium armor, Light gear & MTV. Lighting Changes: This is a big part of our patch. Even though that probably in a lot of player's opinions the lighting in-game has been fine, and would be unnecessary to work on at this moment, we still decided to take a closer and deeper look into it. Why? We, especially me (Sven) and Fred weren't really satisfied with the current lighting quality of the game. We felt like it was not reflecting what the possibilities are with our engine and it wasn't looking 'good'. We decided to take a deeper look into it and we've reworked the entire lighting for EVERY map except Colorado V1. (Reason: we want to keep colorado v1 the same as the 'old colorado v1' lighint always been.) Here's the major changes (summarized up) that we've done: Reworked atmospheric fog: better colors, transitions and better 'fade' with sky domes. Reworked post FX colors: brighter colors, more 'happy' overall colors and best of all a more realistic looking FX. Night vision settings remain untouched BUT we've fixed problems with glow, light swords and sun that affect night vision. Fixed some lighting / shadow bugs related to the light swords. Sky domes and transitions from dawn - day - dusk - night have been optimized. Some maps would show 2 suns, those are now fixed and the sun is lined up with the sky dome. Major other changes and tweaks. Some too small to mention. We hope you all like these new changes, we are at least more satisfied with the global look of the game now. Let us know what you think! Players can now change their 'item highlight color' in the main menu -> options of the game instead of in-game. Community Updates: Premium skinboxes now have a higher spawn-rate in general.   24. PATCH STATUS: Patch incoming Server downtime 30-45 minutes. Dear Players, We are quickly rolling out a hotfix to fix some major problems. Before we run into the notes we would like to explain you why this hotfix is rolling out now and why it has not been rolled out directly after the patch - days ago. After the patch we've started working instantly on something that needed to happen ASAP; simply said: "Removing / cleaning a lot of assets from our current game build". Why? Why now? This needed to happen ASAP, it was / is a lot of work to do and it could only be done by 1 person at the time. The reason we needed to do this process has a lot to do with something we can not mention yet, but will soon be announced. What this "process" means for you as a player: NO items are removed. YOU as player will NOT notice ANY difference. Total game size has been decreased with around 20% by removing assets, files which were not in use at all. -> faster download for new players! Possible amount of crashes has been decreased drastically. No more 'weird' errors caused by files that we're interrupting with other files. Possibly better FPS, performance and faster loading times when joining a server. Better security against possibly copyrighted assets: in this "process" we've literally checked every single asset / file that is in the game, documented & researched it and made sure it's completely owned by us & or legal to use. Again, we are very sorry that we have not been able to roll out a hotfix instant. We hope players can now understand a bit better why we could not hotfix directly after the patch.   25. PATCH STATUS: LIVE Dear Players, It's time again for an update. This patch might come as a surprise to a lot of people due to the fact that we patched only one week ago, but due to several reasons we decided to do a quicker "smaller" hotfix to fix some game-breaking related problems. As you will notice by reading these patch notes, we have not really added any new content, this is also why this patch is intentionally meant as a hotfix. With this patch we have focused on fixing minor issues. We felt like we couldn't really start working on new features/content due to the fact that there were still game-breaking related issues in the game like the abuse of left peak, macro problems, voip & crashes. With this patch we have focussed fully on these problems and should be mostly fixed now. Let's get into details now: Overall Updates: Updated some spelling mistakes and made some improvements to the German language pack. Updated some spelling mistakes and made some improvements to the Dutch language pack. Turkish is now available as game language. Vietnamese is now available as game language. Polish is now available as game language. Players can now repair a car without placing the actual car down. This can be done by taking a car + a repair kit in your backpack -> right click repair and choose a repair kit to repair the car with. The "Repair" does not show up when a car is at 100% durability. Premium repair kits repair for 100%, normal repair kits for 30%. Car system has been improved. VOIP: We've experienced some problems regarding VOIP after our latest patch. VOIP was still not available in public (Official) EU Servers. This had something to do with the security/anti-ddos of our EU server. Our apologies for not releasing VOIP fully at once, but we finally fixed the problem and VOIP is now available on EU Official Servers too. LEFT PEAK: Yes. Left peak, players abusing left peak, it's been a major game-breaking problem recently in the game and it's been taking up a lot of time from us thinking about solutions. Finally we've found the right solution for left peak and most important, it's no longer abusable by players anymore. Enjoy! Fixed a bug related to auto-skinning items. Some times some items in players accounts didn't auto skin. This is now fixed. UI Updates: Fixed a UI Bug where sometimes the scroll bar in the server browser would not work correctly. Moved the in-game statistics that were originally under the chat to the down left box (where health, sprint bar etc.. is) so that when players hide the chat now still can see their player statistics. Also changed some of the text fields inside the statistic bars to a shorter text for more space. Updated the UI background to a new one for a new fresher look. Updated the top menu in the UI and made it more transparent so it fits better with the rest of the menu. Updated the "Play" screen. Instead of showing 2 buttons: Competitive / Open World we've changed the buttons and released the new layout as 'basis' for the future of this game. There's now 4 buttons: Open World -> All normal game modes and everything related to a player's Global Inventory. Battle Royale -> One of our 'main' game-modes. Survival -> Coming soon. Competitive -> Coming soon. Removed the "Battle Royale" button from the open world screen. (Since this game-mode is not open world but an actual game-mode) Removed the "Coming Soon" button from the open world screen. (This button was a place-holder for the competitive game-mode but we have another place for this game-mode now.) The open world server selection screen now has 2 less buttons and is resized a bit. Fixed a bug in the Options - Controls menu when applying a different sensitivity the bar / value would change / bug when clicking on apply. This bug is now fixed. Community Updates: Improved the AK-74M after community feedback. This assault rifle was way too bad compared to other guns. With these changes we hope that this gun will be used more by players. Spread is decreased & Recoil is decreased. AK-74M spawn rate has been increased. The gun should now be more common. Basic Glasses are now spawning. Skins for this item will be released soon. Crash Updates: Fixed a bug where another player's reputation would bug and not show the right reputation icon. Fixed a bug where the kill feed would sometimes show random black glitched bars. We've experienced some problems recently and weren't very happy in adding more because certain clans have been abusing their skins and been selling their slots. We then decided not to add any clan skins until we've found a solution for this problem. Now, we did: Clan skins requirements have been increased -> This way we can filter the 'professional' clans out, etc. Clan skins will be available after 1 week when a player joins a clan. -> to prevent clans from selling their slots. Please be warned that any clan we see selling their clan slots either for ingame currency OR external currency will be banned PERMANENTLY. More info will follow soon regarding the new applications for clan skins, stay tuned on our social media and forums! A forum post will follow later regarding the new clan / riot shield applications and requirements. Stay tuned for that. NEW AUG + SKINS: We've finally finished reworking the AUG to a new model. This means we also had to rework all current skins for the AUG. By doing this we've also reworked all of the old (removed) AUG skins and we can now finally re-release them. Updated the AUG (Assault Rifle model). The old AUG model caused a lot of players to lag and was low quality. The new AUG model is improved and optimized. Updated the AUG store icon to the new AUG. Chainsaws now continuously play sounds even when holding down the mouse button. (Before it was on 'semi' mode only playing the sound after a mouse-click) Decreased the protection rate on basic glasses, since this item realistically doesn't look as protective as a K. Style or helmet. Fixed the AN94 animation bug when a player is prone, the gun would be bugged. This is also fixed for the skins of this gun. Map Updates: Rocky Ford: Reworked the entire map. Rocky Ford will be available as PVP server again! Reworked the minimap. West Oaks: Fixed flying objects around the gas station and diner. Fixed a bug where players could sometimes spawn outside of the playable area. Caliwood: Added more ways up on the roof of the Convention Center which is located in the center of the map. Colorado V2: Fixed flying objects around the secret spot. Fixed some no-clippable rocks around Campos City. Fixed a bug at the airport where zombies could no-clip through the crashed helicopter in the center of the airport. Fixed a bug at the airport where zombies could no-clip through a trailer model. Fixed a bug where players could sometimes spawn outside of the playable area. Updated the height of the water due problems at the lake next to Clearview. Colorado V1: Colorado V1 is still in development and being tested. Still we would like to point out some updates we did: Fixed flying objects around the Trailer Park. Updated lighting settings. Finally this pre-selection screen is at a point where we are satisfied and we think with these 4 buttons the game is easily understandable for new players. Also in the old pre-selection screen Battle Royale was part of the Open World server selection screen. Obviously, as we all know, Battle Royale is not considered to be an open world type, but a major game mode. Just like the 2 new buttons we added; Survival and Competitive.
