  1. I have to say I see the survival loot going in the right direction, it is already much better than previously
  2. How in the world do you think this would work? You want to make looting harder by having stronger zombies, but at the same time, want to make killing players less rewarding? Think about that for a second. If looting is harder now, killing players for loot now is even more rewarding. Also, if you've been here for as long as you claim you should know the types of players there are by now. Do you really think that if zombies were stronger, the player base would suddenly team up more and stop killing each other? Next thing is your suggestion to introduce to have different zombie mechanics for players with more player kills. So you want to give players that like to play the game in a certain way a disadvantage, just because you don't like players that prefer PvP over PvE? I hope you're joking with this Come on man, think about what you're about to post for one second next time
  3. You cannot be serious lmao
  4. Pre-Night Vision Post-Night Vision This happens with all reflective surfaces, be it building windows, vehicle windows and mirrors, shiny armor and any reflective metallic surfaces of other assets. The reflection glow disappears after a short while of having NV turned off.
  5. I'm fairly busy in the next few days but I'll see what I can do
  6. Spot on. Regarding the NV bug with lit up windows. I didn't notice it was only an NV bug, I thought this was the case without NV but now that you said it, it may really be because of the NV. The problem is that some surfaces have a yellow-ish glow to them and I am also fairly sure that this is only the case with reflective surfaces, especially Truck gas tanks, K-Style helmets, Windows and such. Especially with wearable items this is kind of a problem as it increases player visibility through a bug
  7. You didn't get his point. A move from OW to survival nowadays means a move to an underpopulated game mode without having any stats OR inventory transfer whatsoever. Those problems would not come up in a merger like he suggested though
  8. Just for the record, are you asking as a PvE focused survival player or OW player?
  9. Well put 5. Is the core of the problem in this list. I know quite a few dudes who left because there's just nothing going on on the servers and they won't come back unless there a more players. Players in OW would be enough, but anything but snipers is utterly useless. Nothing is rare in any way, you play for an hour and have enough gear to spawn fully geared for at least 10 times. Whats the point of playing if loot is completely irrelevant? There is no point in doing any PvE anyways, but even PvP doesn't give you anything. Its literally deathmatch, losing gear is not an issue as getting it is not an issue either. There is no value to PvPing other than PvPing just for the sake of PvPing. No risk in PvP involved, made everything very boring for heaps of players, while most players I knew left. Survival is dead and survival mode loot makes it seem like OW compared to WarZ/ISS and OW is somewhat populated but its just deathmatch and nothing else.
  10. Yep, that's what I mean. It takes a lot less time to get 10 very rare items than to find a single one in survival, so 10:1 might be a little unbalanced in favor of OW inventories
  11. I think 10:1 might be a little too much. I think it's just too easy to farm in OW, considering there are TONS of weapons, even snipers and you aren't even required to go a safezone to move items to the GI. I had no problem finding quite a few snipers in just a few hours of time, and a 10:1 ratio might still be a lot quicker on OW for very rare items like snipers I feel like.
  12. Understood. So, in the end you're suggesting two different game modes, one legacy, and one PvP maps, with the only inventory connection being the choice of where to transfer your pre-merge inventory, right? I think this would fix a lot of problems. Great idea, but I misunderstood what you suggested in the beginning. Like this I feel like its great
  13. Totally agree. The only thing I'd change is that I'd like a complete wipe. Another thing is, how would you handle characters? Maybe I misunderstood you, but do you intend to have a single set of characters for both PvP maps and normal maps? How would you handle XP and stats? I'm not talking about the conversion from old (OW/Survival) characters here, but about a character created after a merger of the game modes.
  14. Remove medicine form zombies - That happend actually 2 weeks ago and we got spamed on every social. However, it is definitely necessary. Just yesterday I made 150 bandages and 150 painkillers in just two runs by just shooting zombies. This didn't take long, at most 3 hours to get a supply for well over 10 runs, assuming you use them in every single run and assuming you don't return with even more (which is the norm, by the way). Sprinters - Like some people said in here, we had them at the beginning, but then the most of the player didn't liked them because sometimes the animation is glitchy and you get a hit when you should'nt get one. I'm split on this. I like sprinters, but I agree, the animation causes problems. Adding zombies in to the forest - I actually did that long time ago, maybe not enogh of them? I've been playing for a while now and I'm yet to see any random zombies in non civilized areas at all. Add more zombies overall - I was thinking about to increase the amount of zombies but you also have to see it from the other side, your FPS will decrease with that. I agree with the idea of having more zombies. Also, I haven't seen anyone complaining about the FPS in this game, I doubt this is a big issue. I also don't have any noticeable drops in frame rate when being in an area with a lot of zombies. Sure, I can only speak for myself, but I have to say that my PC is not a super great one. Status "bleeding" should happen more often - I agree on that and maybe I can ask Fred to increase the chance. Good idea imho, but this seems to be fairly irrelevant, you bandage immediately after taking damage, it doesn't make much of a difference as long as you have bandages. Bandages however, are a non-issue, mainly because of zombie drops. Zombies should have a higher radius - I also could do that but that will also slow down the performance a bit. I like it but just like the point above, it just doesn't matter. More cars action - That problem here is, the car system have some glitches right now, as soon we fixed them 100%, then we can talk about this but we also have to add more defensives against them. I'd agree with having more cars, but you already mentioned the main problems with that. Our standpoints are identical here More variaity of zombies - We actually work on 2 new type of zombies but they are not done right now. Thats great to hear! Is there an ETA? Difficult higher on zombies in the night - That is also a great idea. I also will talk to Fred and see what we can do. We can add armors etc to them but they won't use the protection of them since they are not player. I also like this. Regarding the armor, that would still be an improvement as it gives visual variety Just my 2 cents
  15. This is because there is no risk in going into a pvp fight. You lose stuff slower than you regain it
  16. I like it. 1. Good ideas 2. This is a great idea, however the parts should be really rare, as you said, like the Heavy Armor. Crafting food is also a cool idea, but it should only work when it actually makes sense. (i.e. no craftable E-Drinks, fruits etc.), Adventure Backpack is also great 3. Disagree, or rather, agree, but not because guns aren't hard to find. The fix for this is making guns rare and you can increase zombie numbers as well. Increasing zombie difficulty is not a replacement for rare guns. 4. Great idea, completely agree
  17. In my eyes its not necessarily the zombies than need a buff but the weapon spawns that need a debuff, You find weapons way too quick and way too many of them which has the side effect that zombies become completely irrelevant as well as dying not having an effect at all because you find gear faster than you lose it again
  18. I think it should be similar to any other loot, if you carry money and you die, you lose it. If you are in a safe zone you can put it into a global inventory. Would be the good of both options imo
