    Dear players, It's time for a short patch again. The main reason that we are releasing this (smaller) patch is just simply because we didn't want to let you guys wait for too long for another update. This patch contains a lot of fixes, improvements, new content and next to all that the new mission / contract feature. We are aiming to find the right balance between making the game more beginner friendly while at the same time we keep bringing enough new content for current players. Besides everything it still is our main priority to fix crashes, optimize the game even more and fix other major and minor issues that are happening. This is also why we aim to release another smaller patch very soon that contains a lot of fixes and improvements. Now, let's jump into the patch: Overall Updates: OVERALL: Fixed some spelling mistypes / other errors in some of the newly added tips in the loading screen. Fixed Various visual and functional bugs related to the chat system. We would like to remind you all again that the chat system is still in development and we are still fixing stuff related to this new system. Added a "Loading In" status in the friend server for when they are loading game data. Fixed the vehicle camera in FPS only servers. Fixed a bug related to the clan contesting system. Reviving in-game in Beginner Servers is now free. VEHICLES: The Tuk Tuk is now spawning in all game-modes. Fixed the physics of the Tuk Tuk. When hitting this car now it is no longer invincible and plays hit sounds when hitting. Fixed the physics of the Humvee. When hitting this car now it is no longer invincible and plays hit sounds when hitting. Fixed the physics of the Sherrif Dragster. When hitting this car now it is no longer invincible and plays hit sounds when hitting. Fixed the physics of the Police Dragster. When hitting this car now it is no longer invincible and plays hit sounds when hitting. Missions & Contracts: A new feature / system! Missions & contracts are achievement based objectives for players to do in certain maps. Players can receive rewards for doing a mission or contract. We will explain further how everything works but before that we'd like to get back to why we have decided to add missions and contracts. With the aim to make the game more beginner-friendly, while at the same time aim to give already playing players more things to do we have finished the first (beta) version of the missions and contracts system. Towards beginners we think that by giving them missions to do in a map they will be more forced to understand certain parts of the game better while completing a mission while also at the same time have something new to do. For older players we have added the contract system. Allow us to explain everything: To understand how contracts work we first have to explain how missions work. Missions are map-based objectives for players to complete. By completing a mission players can receive X rewards. Missions are (usually) a one-time objective and are different and separated in each map and game-mode. This means once you finish a mission it will be considered as "finished" and not be able to be completed again. Missions are completely character based and can be started and progressed on individual characters. Please note you will only be able to have 3 missions "running" per character, per map. Progress of a mission saves so if you log out and back in you will be able to continue where you were. Since missions are character based and can be started and finished on each character individually, rewards will be given to the character you finish a mission with. This is how it looks when activating a mission: Now, let's talk about the contracts. Contracts work exactly the same way as missions except for the fact that contracts are usually repeatable. Why? Because contracts are an actual item that you have to "sign" to start. Basically you can take a contract into any server, sign it, and the same "process" as a mission starts. Another difference is that contracts can be done in any map (unless disabled) and the actual contract item disappears when signing. This makes contracts valuable. Summed up it pretty much comes down to this: there is missions but they can be started in two different ways: some missions show in the missions tab in a map, are only do-able once or some missions can only be started by signing a contract while these are usually repeatable. Note that with contracts, when signing the item disappears so that means that if you then decline that mission that you started with the contract, you will not get the contract item back. Just to make things extra clear we have an example here of how players can use contracts: Let's say you as a player have the "Kill Zombies Contract" 10 times in your inventory in a server. You can right-click, sign, the contract and the actual contract disappears so you have 9 of those contracts left in your inventory but you have started / signed one of them. You go ahead and finish the mission, it completes and you get your reward. Now, you can sign another of you 9-left-contracts. You start the same thing again, now have 8 contracts left and you can finish the mission again and get a reward again. Note that these contracts will be valuable and actual physical items that players will be able to trade or drop when die-ing with them in a server. Missions / contracts are disabled in warm-up and PVP servers. Since this system is still in beta mode we will not release any contracts for this patch yet but the whole system is in place. We will be testing with players to completely water-proof the system before fully releasing it. For now players have some very simple missions to do, just in Colorado V2 Open World and next upcoming patch we will aim to fully release the system. This means: Release of contracts. They will probably be find-able in-game and buy-able in the in-game marketplace. We might do like a "beginner starters contracts pack" or add them in daily rewards. We'll see! Release of more missions on all game-modes and maps. We aim to make amazing, interesting, funny and super hard missions and contracts. For now you'll have to stick to the "beta" but we are super excited to fully release the system (after good testing) for upcoming next patch. Item Updates: ADDITIONS: Added a new item called a "Trophy". This is literally a winners trophy and will be used as a special reward for events, seasonal leaderboards and tournaments. You can't do anything with this item expect drop it in a server or trade it. Our goal is to create a special trophy for each event we do, for example with Christmas 2018 we have a "Christmas Seasonal Leader board" planned and all the winners will then receive the "Christmas 2018 Trophy". This item will then become very valuable since it's only ever rewarded once. Added a new item (probably for Survival only): Heavy Armor (Shoulders). (For more info about this read the Survival section of the patch notes.) Added a new item (probably for Survival only): Heavy Armor (Legs). (For more info about this read the Survival section of the patch notes.) Added a new item / barricade as a new vehicle countermeasure idea. This barricade is kind of just a test and aimed for people to use / place down to block vehicles from riding them over. We are not sure yet when / how / if this item will be released so stay tuned for further updates. Added a new media riot shield: Riot Shield Afyne. UPDATES: Updated the item name of the "Light Heavy Armor" to "Heavy Armor (Body)". Since this was just the body part of the heavy armor. For more information why this name got changed can be found under the Survival section of these patch notes. Updated the damage and damage range of the grenade. Increased damage from 120 to 140 and increased damage radius from 15 meters to 20 meters. Increased the flash bang explosion radius. Increased the explosive arrow explosion radius. Skin Updates: ADDITIONS: Added some new skins and items for the Gamescom 2018 event where the New Z staff team will be attending. We have added some character clothes, a riot shield and some skins. FIXES: Fixed the K. Style NVG Fallen Angel model. Improved the overall quality of the model and fixed some smoothing issues. Model should look much better now. Fixed the Light Sword Curved Rainbow skin. The model is now way more optimized and the actual "fade" is more beautiful in one fade instead of a repeating pattern. UPDATES: Updated the skin name of the AW Magnum Gold to AW Magnum Pyrite. All of the old "gold" skins have been renamed due to the newer gold set that came out recently. Updated the skin name of the Desert Eagle Gold to Desert Eagle Pyrite. All of the old "gold" skins have been renamed due to the newer gold set that came out recently. Updated the skin name of the Custom Guerilla Gold to Custom Guerilla Pyrite. All of the old "gold" skins have been renamed due to the newer gold set that came out recently. Updated the skin name of the M107 Gold to M107 Pyrite. All of the old "gold" skins have been renamed due to the newer gold set that came out recently. Updated the Heavy Armor Black Night skin. Overall looks better now and more like the Custom Guerilla Black Night. Updated the store icon of the Light Sword Twin White. Also updated the recipe icon. Updated the store icon of the OTS-SVU Fun Edition. Also updated the recipe icon. Open World Updates: LOOT: The Stanag E-Mag is now released and spawning. Players can find this new item in-game. This magazine is very rare and can only be farmed from alien and normal super zombies. The sniper flash hider is now released and available in Open World. This new attachment can be found at military areas. The SMG flash hider is now released and available in Open World. This new attachment can be found at military areas. The pistol flash hider is now released and available in Open World. This new attachment can be found at military areas. The sniper silencer is now released and available in Open World. This new attachment can be found at military areas, super zombies and alien super zombies. This item is rare. The shotgun silencer is now released and available in Open World. This new attachment can be found at military areas, super zombies and alien super zombies. This item is rare. The Tuk Tuk is now spawning. COLORADO V2: Added a new secret spot with a Alien Super Zombie. Good luck finding him! Fixed the missing loot, bus station and zombies at the Zeta Force Academy incl. Alien Super Zombie. Fixed an issue with the loot and de-spawn timers. This caused some loot to not spawn. Fixed a player spawn at the Varo Military Base where you spawn sometimes in the middle of zombies. Fixed a player spawn at the Nato Military Base where you spawn sometimes in the middle of zombies. Increased the loot at Barth Farm. Increased the loot at the road block close to Crystal Lake. Increased the loot at the road block close to Clearview. Increased the loot at the farm close to Clearview. Increased the loot at the road block close to Campos City. Increased the loot at some newly placed buildings inside Campos City. Some buildings here were missing loot. OREGON: Fixed a major zombie navigation issue where zombie were walking through walls and other objects. LOUNGE: Lounge has been entirely reworked. Map looks overall better now in terms of quality and there is a lot of interesting new stuff. Players spend a lot of time in this map so it's important to keep this interesting. Added a lighthouse and some other scenery to make the map more interesting. Replaced the palm trees with better / more happy looking ones. Removed the "party" barn and replaced it with a super sick looking party villa. Are you ready to get this party started? Added much more grass, rocks and trees to make the map look better and more realistic. Painted the terrain with better looking textures to make the whole map look better and more realistic. Updated the music in the "party villa" area. Music playing is just overall more improved. Updated the minimap. ROCKY FORD: Reworked Rocky Ford based on feedback from the community. This works simple: There is now 3 parts and each of them can ONLY be found from a certain thing / place; Alien Super zombie, Random airdrops & random military loot. You need these 3 parts + 5 cloth, 1 duct tape and 10 metal to craft 1 Heavy Armor. These 3 parts are very rare, and since you can only craft the Heavy Armor with these parts the Heavy Armor itself will be even more rare. LOOT: The Heavy Armor (Body) is now released and spawning.     Dear Players, It's patch time again! This time a bit smaller patch with some new content and a lot of fixes. We have exciting plans for patch 2.21 but before we started working on that update we wanted to roll out this patch to fix some issues and update some stuff! We would also like to remind you guys that we have created a special dedicated feedback section in our forums where we gather all feedback from you guys. If you have any feedback about the game, please go to http://playnewz.com/feedback and let us know! Now, let's jump into the patch notes: Overall Updates: GENERAL: Updated the Turkish language pack. Added some missing translations. Fixed a bug with the VOIP server. Fixed some UI animation problems. Fixed a vehicle teleportation bug. Fixed a bug causing some people to not be able to join ping limited servers. Improved the overall quality of VOIP. In-game VOIP is much better quality now. Increased the airdrop de-spawn timer from 20 to 30 minutes in every game mode. THE NEW CHAT SYSTEM: Added a Chat System for players. Players are now able to chat with their friends and their created lobby. They can even message friends that are in any game playing. With the aim to a more "beginner friendly" New Z a chat system was/is definitively needed. Please note that we are still developing this chat system and more will come in time during future patches. TIPS SYSTEM: With that same aim to a more "beginner friendly" New Z we have also added a tips system in the loading screens. Players will be able to read random displayed tips while being in the loading screen. These tips are random and we are adding new tips every now and then to make players more aware of different features or things they might not know about in the game! MODELS: Fixed an issue related to the rusty container ship (used in the Oregon map) where players could look through some parts of the model. Fixed a texture issue related to a highway tunnel model. (Example: https://prnt.sc/k8ccjf) Fixed a model issue related to that same highway block model. (Example: https://prnt.sc/k8cctn) (Can no longer look through) Created LODs for the flatbed train trailer model. Optimized the mesh and created a playeronly model for physics. Also fixed an issue where players were able to glitch inside of the model from a certain angle. CHARACTERS: Fixed an issue with the new Shane character where for some reason there was some vertices of the model of the legs not properly rigged. Fixed an issue related to the climber character where there was some materials missing in the game files. VEHICLES: Added a new vehicle called: Tuk Tuk. This vehicle is a transport vehicle for around 3 people and very common in Asia. Items mentioned above might not be released instantly. This is a silencer just for shotguns. This attachment can't be attached to the Double Barrel Shotgun. This silencer has it's own unique sound. Added a new armor: Heavy Armor Light. This is a lighter variant of the original heavy armor and is half as good as a normal heavy armor. We are not sure yet how/when this item will be released but it's mainly added for use in the Survival game-mode. Added a new media Riot Shield: Riot Shield Easy Dad. Added a new country Riot Shield: Riot Shield Bangladesh. Items mentioned above might not be released instantly. Definitively go and check out this barn cause it's hilarious and worth a dance! COLORADO V2: The loot has been fixed. It now is how it was before patch 2.19 rolled out. Highered the terrain distance. Improved the color of the fog. NOTE: Some loot changes mentioned above have been executed already a while ago but for those who missed the announcements we are readdressing it on the next upcoming patch notes. Survival Updates: OVERALL: Fixed the random airdrops sometimes being empty. This shouldn't happen anymore. Fixed an issue related to the alien super zombie. This zombie now drops 2 items instead of 1. Loot should also be better. Enabled group damage in Survival. LOOT: The new PKM Ammo (200) Box is now confirmed to be spawning from random airdrops and super zombies. Buffed the loot from random airdrops in both Oregon and Colorado. Airdrops now drop 6 items instead of 4. Decreased the can of soup item spawn rate. Vehicles are now a bit less common. This is mainly done based on feedback from the community as a lot of people were abusing the vehicles to kill players. In this sense vehicles could be very overpowered. We do plan on adding more countermeasures for vehicles though. It's more scary plus it makes more sense to use NVG's now. Bus stops are not on Oregon anymore as they never were intended to be. When we add more safe zones bus stops will come back but only in safe zones. Alien Super Zombies are now enabled on this map as well just like in Oregon. Battle Royale Updates: OVERALL: Arena is now back as a Battle Royale map. We have reworked and fixed the map and we will enable this map again in the future probably with some kind of event. Attachments now auto-attach in the Battle Royale lobby. Battle Royale's now start with 20 players instead of 30 players. Battle Royale's will now also start faster if a lot of people join faster. Solo and Grouping is now split. Players that create a party and join a Battle Royale game will now play to others who are partied up as well separated from the solo players. This has been a huge demand from our Battle Royale community and we hope this can improve the game mode. Extra Information: This patch still has the FAC beta on/off option. This is because we are still finishing up FAC 2.0 and before that's happened we don't want to force players in FAC 2.0 due to a lot of things that could go wrong.     Hello Guys So here is a little idea i'd like to discuss with people: You are probably all aware of the Clan Territory System, so right now, there is not really any point to owning many clan points, except for the thrill of fighting or just to be at the top of the leaderboards. We talked in the latest devblog about adding some kind of "buff" while you are in your territory, and what makes sense, is that when you are "at home", that you're safer, so our first idea was to give a little health regeneration, but because everybody has so many meds, it really doesn't make up for the hassle of keeping the point alive, so I came up with this idea: Its basically a little shield, in this case, of 20 HP to be exact. Any damage taken will first take on the shield. So in this example i have 100% hp, plus a 20% shield. If someone deals 25 % damage to me, I will end with 95%, pretty straight-forward. So the main idea is, if you are in a Clan Territory of your current clan, then if you haven't taken any damage for 10 seconds, you will start generating a little shield slowly, to a max or 10 or 20, or something along these lines. This system can be really nice, especially if farming, and you take a hit of a zombie or something, then you won't necessarily be forced to med (heal), also in PVP, this could be a game-changer, as it could possibly save you (Sniper head-shots will still 1-hit!) if you're lucky enough. This is just my idea, really just thought i'd run it through here before, I'm not sure everybody will like this, and if you don't, perhaps you have a better idea instead.     We all know, V1 has always been and always will be better than V2. Besides the map being lighter, giving us a good FPS, it has the greenest and most beautiful graphics, much more zombies, better areas for pvp and farm, not to mention the wonderful nostalgia that will be!

We felt there is a lot of players that are not on our forums simply because they do not speak English. To meet their demand we have created an international forum section with the most popular languages.     1. Every team across the world are allowed to join this tournament. 2. Limit of 16 teams. 3. Knock-out tournament system (direct eliminations) 1/16 -> 1/8 -> 1/4 -> 3rd/4th -> final 4. Best of 5 system in every game. 5. We are announcing a new time system which will make rounds last 5 minutes like in previous tournaments but this time we will add something new, if at the game at last 10 seconds of match (4:50-5:00) anyone got killed there will be extra 30 seconds added to the timer and now it lasts 5:30 but it only works one-time next kill which will be at 5:20-5:30 wont lenghten the match. - 4 AR (sig / imitar / aug) + 1 SNP (mauser / svd / blaser + b93r) - Stanag 30 only - 5x riots - Bandages dx only - Custom + k.style - Attachments allowed (expect flashlights) - Bada booms and frag grenades are not allowed. - Flashes and smokes allowed (max 2 - for example: 1x flash + 1x smoke / 2x smoke / 2x flash) - The match starts after Air Horn then players can move and shoot. - The winner is the team with the most players alive or the team that kills the entire enemy team. - You cannot boost yourself with shields over a fence. - Lagging will not be tolerated. We let every countries play but only if you have stable connection. If your connection is unstable, you will be kicked from the match. Each team that gets eliminated in the 1/8 finals will get 1,000,000 GD Each team that gets eliminated in the 1/4 finals will get a MYSTERY BOX The 3rd of the tournament will get a MYSTERY BOX + 5,000,000 GD The 2nd of the tournament will get a 3x MYSTERY BOX + 10,000,000 GD The winner of the tournament will get a 5x MYSTERY BOX + 20,000,000 GD and hug from Gibelin 1. Every match will take place on European Server. You have to deal with a high ping. 2. If we see that one of your players is lagging during the match, you have two possibilities and 3 mins for that. * You will be able to replace him with one of your reserve players. After the 3 minutes, (with or without your reserve player) the match will start again. * You will be able to finish the match in 4vs5 without lagger 3. Every match will be controled by a referee. The referee is neutral, he is just here to check if everything goes well and if every team follow the rules. He is also here to check if the players are not lagging. He is the only person that can take a decision about that. 4. Every complaint about a match will be assigned to referees. 5. Keep in mind that there is a limit of 16 teams, which means that as long we have 16 teams registered, means your team will be added to a waiting list. If a team doesnt get accepted or disqualified, your team could potentially join the tournament. 6. A player cannot play for more than one team, even if in different accounts. If this happens, the teams involved will be disqualified. 7. Every team MUST use our TeamSpeak 3 Server to communicate. Detailed informations will be provided to the leader of the team. 8.     IN THIS TOPIC I WILL LIST REASONS TO HATE THE ARENA MAP 1) Little Loot - It is almost impossible to go downtown with the good loot, regardless of whether it is meds or weapons. 2) Rapid Radiation - Radiation gives more damage and is faster than other maps. 3) Close Combat - Closed combat facilitates the use of shooting macros, making it impossible to compete with those who use it. 4) Zombies do Not Drop Anything - In some areas of the map zombies even drop a juice. 5) Bad Spawns Distributed - There are places where 2 groups of players are born practically next to each other, and the gameplay is ridiculous. 6) Factor New Map - Because it is a new map, people stop playing the other maps that are more complete, (Arizona and Tropic), being impossible for a person who does not like the arena to play in these maps, because it does not begin. The Arena took the balance out of the game, and there were few people who asked for their return. Everyone I know hates this map and through them he would never be put back. Remove the Arena!

    Do not remove the tropics please, it is the best map! This update was the coffin lid to kill the battle. The more I claim, the more you get worse, before I play a game of tropic per day, now even that does not work. Thank you for making more than 20 people of my clan stop playing, as we only played the tropics.

    Hello Everyone! I recently came up with a idea for new skins for armor and weapons, being a Agent i thought to myself it would be cool if there were police skins for those who like being good guys (prefer a challenge) just a simple navy blue ☺ or dark lightly saturated blue ☺ with the word police on it, i'm not sure if it has been suggested before but i think a lot of people would like skins like that too. i have created some examples of this skin see below Thank you for taking the time to read this and i do hope it gets considered

    Then make them atleast wearable? cuz k.style is the only META in this game, no other helmets are being used unless its a bambi who doesnt know how to pvp ._. all armors besides the guerilla and heavy are useless.

How does it sound like this: When doing weekend event we have 1 point PVE and one PVP? I mean, I think that sound's good but then again we have the problem: current "Seasonal leaderboards" could be considered as PVE part.

    EXACTLY! Feeling left out again. This event seems as though it is aimed directly at the PVP players, and the money players. The PVE players either won't play as much this weekend, or when another event is being held (say one for PVE players) the servers will be full of PVP players trying to get in on a PVE event:( I feel your pain Campers:(:(
