    Dear Community, It's been a while and we are very excited to present to you all this new Viking Event Week. Before we jump into any details we'd like to remind everyone that a big patch for New Z is planned to roll out somewhere this week so stay tuned for that. Now, without further ado let's jump into the event: Vikings have come ashore in the lands of The New Z! A fierce group of warriors who took countries by storm, pillaging and taking what they felt like used to roam these lands in search of fertile land! Now they come to our lands to find shelter and fight Zeds with us! Who else would you want by your side, other than warrior who are notorious for never holding back?! Join us in the celebration of the Viking culture in The New Z! Before we jump into any event details let's make clear over what period of time this event is taking place: Start: June 6, 12:00 (CEST) 2019. End: June 10, 12:00 (CEST) 2019. Also, you can also view the event information at: https://playnewz.com/event.php Now, let's jump into the details of the event: Double XP & GD: During this Viking Week there will be a Double XP & GD event. This means all experience and in-game dollars gained in all game-modes will be doubled. This event has a particular time. Start: June 7, 12:00 (CEST) 2019. End: June 10, 12:00 (CEST) 2019. Free Premium Weekend Event: During this the weekend everyone will have a free premium account subscription. This only affects players that don't have an active premium subscription. This event has a particular time. Start: June 7, 12:00 (CEST) 2019. End: June 10, 12:00 (CEST) 2019. Viking Battle Royale: Yes, you hear that right. We are going to do a special Viking Battle Royale where we will change up the Battle Royale loot table to viking related items such as melees ONLY! This event has a particular time. Start: June 8, 12:00 (CEST) 2019. End: June 9, 12:00 (CEST) 2019. Special Viking Items: During this Viking Week event we will release some new items. Here is a list and how to get them: Box: Will be available in the in-game marketplace and find-able in-game but very rare. Skins: Will only be available from the Viking Box. Sprays: Will only be available from the Viking Box. Character Clothes: Will only be available in the in-game marketplace. Items: Will be available in the in-game marketplace and find-able in-game. Note that some items will also be inside the Viking Box. Survival-only Viking Event: For the Survival game-mode fans we have decided to go with a special Survival-only event. A special Holy Viking Hammer has been added to the game and is ONLY available in the Survival game-mode. It's a rare item that can only be found during this event. Viking Themed Menu & Game Launcher: Specially for this event we have turned the main menu of the game into a viking theme. There will be a different background and to totally get in the viking mood we have added special viking music as background music. Viking Giveaway: During the Viking event week we will be doing a special giveaway. This giveaway will go through New Z's social channels so make sure to follow us and stay tuned for further announcements. Viking Sales: Trough out the entire event there will be special sales and flash sales. Stay tuned for more. Viking Secret Spots: Maps such as Caliwood, Colorado V2, Colorado V1, the trading lounge (both in Open World and Survival) have secret Viking settlements. In these locations you'll find special viking themed loot and zombies. Viking Zombies: During the event zombies in both Open World and Survival will wear and drop Viking themed items. Viking Stream by ElChupaCabra: At the first day of the event our Community manager ElChupaCabra will do a special event stream. The event will be done entirely by ElChupaCabra and the idea is that players will have to find him and kill him for loot. He'll drop some awesome items including a "Viking Helmet Gold" that can only be achieved by participating in this event. Further information about this will come from Chupa. This event has a particular time. Start: June 6, 16:00 (CEST) 2019. End: June 6, 18:00 (CEST) 2019. This event will take place at the following location. https://www.twitch.tv/hereschupa Viking Village PVP Map: During the Viking Week event there will be a brand new Viking themed PVP map available in the pvp section of the Open World game-mode.     Dear Community, It's been a while and the game definitively needed an update again so here we are. In this update we have focused and prioritized a lot of game-breaking situations including the right-peek abuse issue and the vehicle problems. Next to that we are very excited to bring you guys an awesome Viking week event that's starting tomorrow! You'll find all information you need about that below. Now, let's jump into the patch notes: Viking Week Event: Upcoming weekend there is a special Viking week event and we invite all of you to join! Vikings have come ashore in the lands of The New Z! This is in preparation for the "Viking Weekend Event" we are going to do very soon. Updated the private server kick cool down (by the owner) to 10 minutes. Game dollar drops from zombies have been increased. We have also fixed an issue related to that some players wouldn't receive any actual game-dollars. Menu music and background have been updated to the Viking theme for the Viking Events. Fixed an issue related to the Alien and Toxic super zombie not giving XP. Fixed a bug causing players to crash while entering a vehicle sometimes. Fixed a crash related to the decal textures. RIGHT-PEEK: The right-peek issue has been addressed and fixed. This has been an on-going issue for months now and has been our main priority for this patch. UI: The radiation screen UI (texts / graphical elements) have been removed. The screen for Battle Royale is still the same but in Open World the text at least is now gone. It was taking way too much space in your screen. Other visual radiation effects are still there. Fixed a bug causing the crafting system to lagg a lot when opening it. Added an in-game poll system. When loading into the main menu players will now be asked to vote, if there is an on-going poll. This allows us to gather more feedback from players and most importantly from every player. In the past we have done these kind of feedback rounds but they were only on the forums where it ended up in 90% of the player base not knowing there was even a poll in the first place. RE-ROLL FEATURE: Based on feedback from the community we have re-looked at the current skinboxes and it's skins and what is re-roll-able or not. We have updated some settings and we now go out from the following fact: skins from legacy boxes, limited boxes and the mystery skinbox are non-re-roll-able. This means that when a skinbox and it's skins become legacy, it won't be re-roll-able anymore. For the rest all the other boxes, including skins from the new Battle Royale skinbox should be re-roll-able. MODELS: Fixed some textures issues related to the "Boardwalk Restaurant 01" building mainly used in Caliwood. Fixed some textures issues related to the "Boardwalk Restaurant 02" building mainly used in Caliwood. Fixed some textures issues related to the "Abandoned Motel 03" building mainly used in Caliwood. Item & Skin Updates: FIXES: Fixed / improved the rig of the Heavy Armor Fallen Angel skin. This armor was stretching weirdly when equipped on some characters. This has been completely fixed. Other Fallen Angel heavy armor skins will be updated in the near future as well with this fix. Fixed / improved the rig of the Custom Guerilla Fallen Angel skin. Kills have always been tracked but were never shown on the leaderboards. Competitive Updates: The ranking system is now enabled in Competitive. This means players now play for a rank instead of 'nothing'. The rank will show on your menu and will also show on the new-added Competitive leaderboards. On the Competitive leaderboards we are showing the amount of wins and the ranking between players. Good luck with the competition! Every new season the Competitive rank will do a 'soft reset'. This means that when a new season starts (new month) your rank is gone, placements are enabled again and you'll have to finish your placements again to get a rank. We hope this brings a little extra competition. Added a game-dollar reward when winning a Competitive game. This reward has been set on 10.000 GD for now and is based on how much GD can be gotten compared to winning a Battle Royale game etc. Also, it's a bit on the low side since the GD will be split over 5 players in the winning team, instead of 1. Overall a nice little addition that at least 'gives' the players something back. Fixed the Competitive player statistics. Estimated patch size: Estimated patch size is around 350 mb. Patch ETA: Patch will roll out somewhere around 14:00 PM (CEST) on June 6, 2019. Estimated downtime: Downtime is estimated to be around 1 hour. We will do our best to keep it as short as possible.     Why is it that we can stack items in our backpack like ammo, bandages, gas cans, repair kits, and food, but something that basically has no weight cannot be stacked? I'm talking about contracts. It seems silly to me that, if you want to carry multiple contracts for one thing, ie: Kill 3 Super Zombies, require one space for each one you carry? Space is already limited in our backpack as it is. So, in order to carry a repeat of one contract, you have to give up precious space needed for other items. @Steve, @ElChupacabra, @Sven, @Vintorez, @Fred. Could one of you please look into this and let us all know how, what amounts to a piece of paper takes up more room than 300 magazines of ammo (which, if you want, you can stack an unlimited quantity) I appreciate the help and look forward to an answer.     I appreciate all the input here. We will try to stay more active in the feedback section of the forums and especially answer it. It's usually being read but sometimes left unanswered. Steve deserves credit as he works 6-7 (mostly 7) days a week with the game and probably spends most time of all staff members collecting bug reports. There's a lot of work behind the scenes that is not acknowledged here. Thanks for staying active, we will try to improve our answering on feedback and also the weekend events.     Dear Community, A smaller patch this time. Before we jump into the patch notes we'd like to mention that the actual patch is rolling out tomorrow. We'll let you guys know trough our official channels when the patch is ready and when the servers will restart. This patch will include the global inventory update where we have merged them to be per official server region instead of per server! This means you are going to be able to have the same global inventory in separate official servers. More information about that and the merge in the patch notes below. IMPORTANT NOTE: Since we "globalized" players inventory across the servers on the same region, we have kept the SaveData from the server with the biggest GI. If your items were moved incorrectly, please contact our support (on our support site or on the discord bot) with your SteamID and the server where you played, this way we can manually transfer your items to make sure you get the right ones! Now, let's jump into it. GAMEPLAY Fixed a bug preventing trading / crafting at certain Tribe locations. Fixed a bug where players could bypass the inventory size limit by stacking items. Fixed a bug related to Nethers taking over the safe zones. This wasn't working properly before. Fixed a bug preventing some players with special characters / symbols in their names to join a server. Added a new feature that allows players to save their log-out location when logging out from a safe zone. This only works in safe zones and players get to ask if they would like to use this when logging out. When logging back in, in the same server, you will be at the exact same place. Added a new feature that allows players to report other players. This was a big demand from the community and something we are definitively going to use to monitor players and their behavior. See something suspicious? Just report the player! Added a new feature that allows players to mute other players through the social tab. When muting a player you will no longer hear them through VOIP and you will no longer see chat messages from them. Global inventories are now shared between official servers. This means you will now have the same global inventory between servers. It's still region based so there will be a different, separate global inventory in each region. We have taken the global inventories from players that have the biggest size, this way the GI that has the most items for a player, will be used. This process is also done per region. Note: It might have happened that we grabbed the global inventory that you didn't want. This is understandable. Don't worry. We have made backups of all the other global inventories and if you'd like to use an other one in this process just contact our support at http://support.fredaikis.com/ UI Fixed a bug related to the account level-up notification. Sometimes it would not show the correct level you leveled up to. Fixed a bug where your health would display the wrong value after reviving. Fixed a bug related to the safe zone in Riverside. It no longer spams the status message. Increased the size of the right-click menu in the socials screen. Group notifications and updates will now show in the chat. LANGUAGES Fixed the 'block attack warning' text. Updated to: "You need the 'Blocking' skill to block attacks". MODELS Added collision for the barrel models.     When i was walking through Devil's pass this thing went into my mind. Zombie horde event. I mean event like an airdrop or radiation. Horde will appear somewhere in the forest so it does not cause lag in the cities plus there will be no way to cheat it by walking on a car etc. Zombies from the horde will have diffrent drops maybe even more exp but they will be harder. Maybe not double health like in radiation event but i'm thinking about maybe more damage more to chance to get infected or maybe more speed of the group.

    @WarZPlayer. Let me try to explain it to you in this way. Have you ever driven through a town that has closed up over half of their retail spaces? I'll sum it up for you. Although there are many towns I could mention, I will use Bodie, California. In case you don't know, Bodie is a very famous ghost town. It was a hustling bustling town back in the gold rush days. But, as soon as the mines ran dry, so did the town. Now, it's a tourist attraction. I'm sure you know of a few places that used to be very busy areas that are now empty. In essence, if you go about closing up different modes of play, you will end up in much the same situation. Only I will call it a 'GHOST GAME' because all the players will eventually leave.     Let me toss this out here I know its slightly off topic as far as events and yet not really. I know how hard you guys are working on TWO games, but tangling the forums, and Discord...while it may be easier for you guys I often get notifications about one of you I follow only to read about Nether. ( or worse have to back the thread up to find out it was about Nether) While I like the new look of the forum, ( more modern and professional looking now than before) I do wish you would separate the two. Im not going to say all, but "some" of the player loss is just some ( not all) gamers being gamers chasing after shiny objects. Gotta have the newest, hottest, shiniest of objects... Im not saying this as a slant, but follow the console community for 5 minutes. Oh heres a new game system that's 1 month newer than the one I just wore out and bought another brand new so gotta get it bc mines old! Doesn't matter they're bringing out a new one every 18 mo I gotta have it!! Also, as much as I have ALWAYS been a JUST PVE only player, I am trying hard to give PVP a chance on here. ( Yeah, I know right... shocked me too!!) What I found was high end pro players make it very difficult for new or even new-ish players. I didn't and had not tried PVP on here so I had no idea how anything worked. Maybe not having pro players or even top level players on server with newish players who are " Too EZzzz" " Easy Rep" pick from a list of other comments made about shooting players pretty much as fast as they change color, or 5 of them camped around the next known spawn in bc they know the spawn in patterns. Even though you have the warmup server, that doesn't help players like me who finally venture out of their comfort zone only to be called a myriad of names the best of which would get me banned here. Many don't venture onto the PVP until they have built up skills, or had time to collect items and money to play it with.... so.... Maybe separating the players on PVP by Rep levels. Match up similar levels and when you get better, you advance out. Also, adding a cool down timer on riot shields like everything else would help. Honestly banning macros would have been best for the game, yet another reason I never ventured over and I still refuse to use as I see it as a cheat. Sadly its something so many complained about but was ignored over time, now you still have those top players who used it, the rest moved on to other games who ban its use for everything. No matter what events you create, these items still haunt you. ********Now for the good********* Awesome job on this event! So much detail put into to art, music choice, ect! I love the extended event as well! Its a refreshing change.

    I completely agree with you. We want to start doing this on a more regular basis and also have more random events happening in OW and Survival. We think stuff like this is the best way of bringing back players. The second problem we're facing is to get more new players stay in the game. We're also working and have been working on that and are happy to recieve any suggestions from you.

    @Sven May I please add to all of this, that while yes the contracts do perform a unique action, so do many other "stackable" items in game. As to @N_e_n_o 's comment not only do I too wish it was possible to remove more than 1 item of the same type like was mentioned. I also question why it takes soooooooo long to manually put items into or remove items from your own GI yet it takes a split second to toss up in trade and transfer the items. There has to be some sort of way, ( beyond just stashing items here I mean) to move items around. SO, lol maybe when youre looking for improvement ideas you could add this one too??

    It's just how it is I guess. Some things are just like that. On the other side: were we to make them stack, problems might occur. Why? Because contracts are a "unique" item and can perform an action. This is why we can't "just" make them stacked. Would require extra checks etc. In the end I definitively think they should be stack able. Why not?

    Good question as I wondered the same too! Contracts are valuable items for PvE and they're common that yesterday I ended up with 5 taking all the space in my backpack, having to drop ammo or other guns just to fit in a contract. Can you guys make them stack?

    I can give you an example of what a wipe does to the value of a weapon. Quite some time ago, when anyone acquired a crossbow, you also gained 5 arrows along with it for the loadout. In addition to that, when you found any arrows they also came in a bundle of 5. Then, without warning, the quantity of arrows was wiped and everybody that had arrows lost 80% of their stock. ie: if you had 100 arrows in your inventory, you suddenly ended up with only 20. To further devalue the crossbow, you have to wait between shots to reload an arrow. This made the crossbow even more useless, especially if you were in a hoard of zombies. I tried to address this issue with the developers and all I could get from them was, 'We'll see what we can do to compensate you' which ended up being nothing. Add to that the fact that you only got 1 arrow with any crossbow you found. (There are also exploding arrows, but they have always been a single item. The bad thing about those is their explosive power is more akin to a firecracker than a grenade.) And to address the XMR, it's my theory that, anyone that has more than 2 or 3 has either bought them from other players or used a private server with friends and boosted their way to the required 50 kills for PVP. I might add that boosting is a form of cheating. And as @DNI_Adrian stated, the admins have stated over and over that they will never do another wipe of any kind. My point is, the value of owning a crossbow and actually being able to use it dropped to almost zero. Also, As per what @Katryna247 says, you will all but destroy the economy of the game overall. And those of us that have spent many many hours gathering the stock we have, would get nothing for our hard work. @Darkio and @V A C A N C Y As far as wiping riot shields, here is my take on that. I don't think I would do a complete wipe of those either. What I would suggest however is putting a timer on the placement of them. If you place a shield, you should not be able to rapid fire them so you build a wall. (I had the misfortune of being in an area with another player on the PVE servers that thought it was fun blocking me in with rapid fire riot shields. I say not to wipe them because, if you noticed the last contest that was held, the prize was a personal shield for your particular group. Placing 1 shield should be sufficient. I believe between 1 and 2 minutes would be sufficient. A total wipe would have the same effect as a wipe of snipers. People would leave due to the fact that they had to PAY for the personalized shields. And to address the bunny hopping that goes on in PVP, that is so absurd it's ridiculous. It is one of the main reasons I don't play PVP. It seems that, even on a PVE server, players cannot walk or run from place to place, they can only move around by hopping. I actually blame the game Halo for this phenomena. It's what killed the fun of playing games like Call of Duty. All the players could do was bunny hop all over the place.     Darkio I am in agreeance with VACANCY. I have spent numerous hours looting my entire collection of snipers. Now you figure in the new XMR-32 rifles, those are not that easily acquired unless you are buying specialist coins and then buying your sniper. Killing 50 people for the PVP specialist contract may be easy with some weapons but not all. I am a PVE player and we have to kill 5000 zombies to get our specialist coin. So, 10 coins = 1 sniper. Speaking from personal experience I have several, and could not even remotely deal with a sniper wipe that would reduce my personal loot in my GI. Lets also not forget that while I do have an extensive amount of snipers, (none have I bought or traded for). I do sell and trade them for things like skins, which I happen to collect. The XMR-32 currently sells for between 10M - 15M. Can you imagine what a sniper wipe would do to players personal game dollars? They will not compensate us for 'wiped' guns, or anything else of value. When they changed the crossbow arrows from 5 per crossbow to 1 per crossbow, players were never compensated for the loss, no matter how many arrows (the old 5 count) that we had in our GI. While I do feel for the PVP players who constantly want some sort of change with sniping, wiping is just not the answer.

    While I agree with most of your post, you do realize how many players would leave if another sniper wipe occurred? This was tried and failed once. It has been talked about many times and it is clear it is not in the best interest of the game.

    Well, it's about time ONE of you noticed the imbalance. We, the PVE players are tired of seeing events that are either poorly set up, ie: the Easter Weekend fiasco, or have nothing to offer the PVE players. What is going to be done about the fact that double GD just isn't what it says it is? In order for it to be true you need to have ALL the zombies drop GD to begin with. Yes, including the Super and Alien zombies. I don't know when or how it happened, or even who is responsible for changing the fact that they ALL used to drop GD. By no means am I offended Sven. It's just boring to see the same groups of players garnering the benefits of the events as a whole. As we have been trying to say, not everyone is able to keep spending money on perks, upgrades, skins, etc. There are those of us that are trying to live on a very limited income. I understand that you are here to earn a living, I don't begrudge you for that. Afterall, MONEY is what drives everyone. For those of us that can afford it, by all means, go for it. But, those that cannot need to see some kind of balance in what is offered. The final thing that needs to be addressed is the blatant, vulgar, and offensive posts and graphics used by some of the community. I won't mention names. It's quite clear who I am talking about as we have tried to report those incidents but thus far have gotten no response or acknowledgement of our concerns. Nobody playing this game should be subjected to the horrible sexually motivated comments and graphics. Such postings should be grounds for immediate termination of their account and any membership in the forum. Allowing these types of comments and graphics MUST STOP. People do NOT want to be bombarded by offensive language and graphics when playing a game and/or posting on the forums. Thank you Sven, for finally paying attention to the problems we have been trying to get addressed for far too long. We do understand that life has a way of intervening in our work. You have already lost a large number of the player base do to not paying attention to the problems that happen. For example, problems and issues with the game itself that have not been addressed properly in a very long time. I have high hopes that, moving forward, some of these issues addressed will be looked into and taken care of in a timely manner. Thanks for your time Sven. Campers

    Well, here we go again. Just another SNORE FEST. Oh, about the Tactical Weapons Crates, There won't be anything new in them. Just the same old recycled garbage that has been in the game for at least the 2 years that I've been playing. Yes, some has been added in that period of time but, when was the last time you introduced something new? Oh, and what ever happened to that mele weapon I spoke about. As I recall, it was a Khopesh. An ancient Egyptian sickle-sword that could be fun to use. I even posted a picture of one to make it easier on the one that designed it. @Sven, PLEASE!!! WE IMPLORE YOU!!! TAKE BACK SETTING UP THE WEEKEND EVENTS!!! Like @V A C A N C Y says, spread the wealth so that EVERYBODY can gain some little pleasure from a dying game. Survival is, was, and always will be a nothing branch of what used to be a fun game. It's clear that all your attention is now on Nether and Infestation is just something that you do as a side line. Nothing ever gets fixed. Nothing truly new is added. It's become so mundane that it's losing more and more players. Especially those that liked playing PvE. That includes those of you that swear, 'I only play PvP because PvE is a waste of time. Without PvE, none of you would be able to support your PvP play due to the fact that you gather all your inventory from PvE or purchase it from PvE players that sell it in a Trade Lounge. I guess you would rather pander to the likes of Lauchboy and Freddy D with their blatantly abrasive attitude toward other players. Especially their use of inappropriate sexual comments and graphics. (Just take a look at the picture they chose for their little 'CLUB'. In a word it's DISGUSTING)

    While I understand the need to revive Survival and give them events like last weekend and this weekend, Open World too needs events since Open World is directly linked to PvE and PvP and Premium servers as well. Everything found in Survival stays in Survival and the majority of people are in either OW, PvE or. PvP beating up one another. Again, I like the idea of making events for Survival since Survival barely has people, but OW needs some love too. For example when you had the skin box event in OW, you could play in PvE too and get the boxes since servers are linked. Just saying, it's more fun when the rest of the people playing NewZ also get something to do this weekend, not just the small percentage frequenting Survival. Like if you want to give Survival all the good events, by no means go ahead, but give something fun for the rest of the PvP/PvE people in Open World (which includes pve, pvp, premium)

    Hey everyone, I will try to collect all the reports of bugs and issue right here so you can check if your problem got reported already or if the DEV team knows already about it. Keep in mind, I will try to update that list daily and remove some reports as soon as they got patched. Confirmed just means if the DEV team tested them. Confirmed reports: Hitbox of other player is desync with enemies client Sometimes you get stuck while walking against a 1cm height difference Reload animation doesn't exist in TPS Aiming animation is broken in TPS with an assault rifle Arachnid has a really weird path, sometimes it gets stuck at the corner The player is getting one-shot by some Nethers sometimes and receiving a steam achievement You can't use 30/31 skill points in your skill tree, max is 29 MACH-9 shots are not registering and not using ammo sometimes Blocking is not working from time to time. Autorun glitch while pressing "W" Hitboxes of Nethers which are close to an object. Safe zone is broken right now, you can't shot but also can't get damaged. CRU is too easy to craft. Small places with flying grass. MP5 capacity desc is wrong. Not confirmed reports: After surviving a long fall and you get damaged by a nether after, the damage will multiply. After using MP5 the sound disappeared and you can't reload or use any other weapon (restart helps). Thanks for all your reports and feedback, it will help us a lot by making this game better and better. NOTE: Map error like invisible walls or flying objects are not listed here because I fix them for the next patch as soon I see the reports.

    Dear Community, The weekend is over and we've had some time to address some, if not most, of the reported issues and feedback. We'd like to start this week with a fresh update with some improvements, fixes, new additions and some new content. Next to that we'd like to thank everyone who's been actively supporting us reporting issues and feedback, sharing ideas and spreading out the game pretty much everywhere. You guys are amazing! Now, enjoy the update: We have integrated a shutdown sequence feature to our servers. This feature includes a count down timer and lets players inside the servers know that the servers are going to shut down in a certain amount of time. This means that next upcoming update / restart we have to do players will actually get a notification and will know that they have to log out of the servers. We also like to make clear that we recommend players as soon as they see a shut down timer to always try to immediately log out to avoid issues. We are very sorry to everyone who is currently in a server playing but this patch will be the last time the servers 'randomly' shut down. GAMEPLAY Added the ability to strafe while sprinting. (This was something very much requested by the community) When opening crates, items will drop on the floor now instead of going straight to the player's inventory. Further improved the crate system; fixed a bug where sometimes you would not get any items when opening a crate. Items from opened crates should now properly align on the ground now. Increased the loot dropped despawn timer from 5 to 10 minutes. Further improved hit boxes for melees. Like we mentioned in Patch 1.0 (Hotfix #1) we will once again keep monitoring further feedback around this subject and improve / fix where needed. When in a safe zone, stamina will not decrease while sprinting or jumping anymore. You basically have infinite stamina in the safe zones now. Fixed a bug regarding the Glider. Fixed another bug regarding the Glider and the third-person feature. Fixed a bug with resetting the spawn. Fixed the green water bug that happened when tabbing in and out of the game. Fixed an issue related to the tribe system causing your current tribe not to save when changing tribe. UI Changed the tribe chat color to a more lighter readable pink color. Added a key binding option for the holding breath ability. Added the ability in the options for players to change the HUD scale. Added the ability in the options for players to toggle between health points or health percentages in the in-game HUD. Added more resolution options. Added some HUD notifications to clarify you need a skill (skill tree) to perform certain actions. Added small animations to the health bar icon to give more feedback to the player when for example being low health. Increased chat text size to make it easier to read. Increased the size of the "right-click menu" (the one that pops up when right-clicking on an item for example). Fixed some UI bugs in the group screen. Fixed a bug related to the inventory system that caused a lot of other bugs including one where items would sometimes randomly disappear. Replaced the "Backpack is full / GI is full" notifications with Popup boxes when inside the Inventory UI. FIXES & CHANGES The MACH-9 has been improved. You now actually hit bullets where you aim and the spread is no longer insanely high. (We still recommend players to crouch when firing on long distances to reduce spread) In return the damage has been slightly lowered. (250 to 230) Also, this weapon's description now shows the correct damage. We will keep monitoring further feedback to improve this weapon. FIXES & CHANGES Players should no longer hear Arachnid aggro sounds randomly without even seeing the creature anywhere. Players should no longer hear Creeper aggro sounds randomly without even seeing the creature anywhere. The Arachnid sounds have been reworked a bit; spawning sounds are now more fitting, there is a more unique death sound, aggro sounds remain the same and next to that there is overall just more variety in what sounds play. The Arachnid's aggro distance has been lowered. This means the creature now aggro's on players on lower range than before. Fixed some render distances in the Wastelands. Fixed some flying concrete parts down the street from Lakeside safe zone towards Old Burnham. Fixed some flying grass on the bridge at Meilitown. Fixed the metro entries north of Lakeside safe zone which was blocked by an invisible wall. Fixed the deliver packages which as not spawning at the High Rise Outpost and also split them more all over the place. Fixed some render distances of small objects at the Riverside Outpost. Fixed some flying concrete particles around Pullman. Fixed the collision of a rock in Litchfield where the player was able to go through. Fixed the trees in Old Burnham which didn't have collisions and player were able to walk through. Fixed a place at the Rudolph Market where you could no go out anymore. Fixed a place at the Litchfield where players were able to jump out of the map and get stuck. Fixed a place where you had to jump to walk through at the Riverside Outpost and also fixed the package spawns there. Added an extension to High Rise Outpost. Now you will be able to climb up the big buildings there. Here is some screenshots of how it looks: (Note: screenshots are straight from the studio and are just quickly made previews.) Adjusted some objects in the Lakeside safe zone that were literally flying. Deleted some misplaced bridge parts at Old Burnham that were placed twice on the same place. Highered the terrain that's under the water plane in the Wastelands to temporarily remove the swimming part from the game untill it's polished. Lowered the respawn timer from 15 to 8 minutes on loot crate so the loot will respawn faster after being looted. Removed the damaged part from the water planes.     I couldn't agree more @DNI_Adrian. All poor little @Lauchboy is doing is trying to get some kind of reward from Steve. He's nothing more than a suck-up. Better watch out though, he may post another one of his childish pictures instead of saying what is on his mind. We are stating facts. I did the same experiment that @Katryna247 did and came up with the same result. 50 xp and 0 GD. (I stopped paying for an extreme account a few months ago and only have a standard one now. Also, since that fiasco known as The Easter Event stopped me from playing on a paid private server, I won't ever buy another private server. I still haven't gotten an answer as to why I got the message 'Sorry, There are no servers available in this area'. There weren't even that many servers taken.) I consider it wasted money. Keep supporting your little friend Steve. If things continue the way they are going, He's going to be one of the few players left. BTW @Lauchboy, Your use of sexual innuendo to make a point is surely a sign of your lack of an education.

    @A7XSOAD This is what the developers told me on discord when this happens. I've had the same thing happen dozens of times and made me quit for months. Log into another server eg trade lounge right after crash that way you don't lose anything except for your car in this case. Also don't bother contacting support unless you got the logs first right after crash otherwise well you won't get your stuff back.

    Just one thing I'm gonna say. I have witnessed a lot of clans/teams form in the PvP server mode. Often people don't have the chance to have a lot of PvP fun because of how broken PvP is in Open World where everyone is camping around Boulder or Nato with riot shields and snipers. It's so hard for beginners to even learn their guns and experiment with snipers. But PvP mode offers that. Yes, Warmup mode can do that as well, but in PvP experience and reputation count and it's challenging because you lose your guns. Let me explain further why PvP is important. PvE-ers don't honestly have much to do on NewZ but they enjoy looting and trading guns etc. In PvP mode people are losing guns every time they die. It creates a cycle. PvPers need more guns, then they well seek out traders or use PvE servers to loot. In my opinion Warmup should stay just that. For practice at the cost of ammo. Sometimes it's just nice jumping into a PvP mode server just to go ham on people after coming out frustrated from Open World.

    Though I agree that the current community is in fact spread out, I cannot agree with servers being empty all the time. If you look at the server lists, you will see that there is quite a few servers with a lot of players in them - this will always depend on the current time and the timezone. For instance, right now it's EU time, and there are around 4-5 high pop servers in Open World, 3-4 PvP servers, 2 high popped Survival servers and two ongoing Battle Royale matches going on simultaneously and that does not include private server farmers, for instance. There are things that we have discussed and I personally like. PvP servers should be merged with Warmup Servers and/or reduced. These players do not sum up to a relevant percentage of the current population, we are aware, however those are players who ONLY play those servers. Doing something like this, as you point out MAY bring these pops to a higher level, obviously. But it may also cause more people to quit playing the game because we removed the game mode they enjoy playing. Remember these modes were added a long time ago when the general population was much higher. It's not that simple to just 'remove' those like that, as there are loyal players to each game mode and it wouldn't be fair to them if we were to kind of 'force' them to play where WE think they should be playing.

    Like @N_e_n_o said, Survival mode is like that and people don't even play it much. Survival mode was a bit what WarZ used to be. In 2016 when NewZ was launched, a lot of the people who quit Warz to play the Infestation emulator created around 2014 i think, joined NewZ and many people are pretty happy with the excessive loot in Open World. It is what it is now even though it might not be what we wanted, some of us. The majority who play the game now are doing it for PvP purposes. I honestly think erasing OW for Survival will make a lot of people leave. Because that is basically what you're offering here. Right now, what NewZ needs is more PvE content. PvE players tend to be longterm loyals while PvPers jump from game to game looking for better action. Right now there is nothing that Infestation offers PvE but loot grinding and zombie killing with no purpose whatsoever. So you have the majority of PvPers doing what they do the most, and PvEers on the standby, just tagging along. There needs to be a balance. Repetitive game play tends to get boring. I'm a PvPer but I would love me some rich PvE content. Yes, NewZ needs to bring in more challenge without turning Survival mode into the main mode. They need to work with what we already have now instead of converting an entire mode into something else. Baby steps maybe. Turning NewZ purely hard loot Survival could have worked out if that was the first mode they've introduced.

    Hello everyone! Since I ran out of cars I thought it would be a good idea to make a spawn location guide since I have not found one. Currently I am working, adding new spawns and images to make find cars more easily. As far as I know, there are currently only 10 cars spawned on the private servers at a time and it is good to have a private server. I inform you that I am going to add as many spawns as I find, if you know a spawn location then comment this topic and if you can take a pic, where the car spawns exactly it would be also helpful.     I wish they would put a PVE server on premium. I might have kept my premium. I mean, it has some good perks, don't get me wrong, but I hated going onto the servers. I am just now starting to do SOME of the PVP, but open world PVP still sucks imho. ( Just not my thing )

    I think this is one of the worst weekend events I've seen in all honesty. Although I guess it's a way to get streamers to be on more and make some extra cash from super zombies including bringing more players on the survival server on the bright side at least so thanks for weekend event.

    Are you kidding me.. I've gotten got bank from this event and had zombies drop 100k sometimes. Only took me less then ten minutes to get 300k. After the event was over I noticed a huge decrease in money gain. Hopefully next weekend is double exp that would be fantastic I need to get my last two elite perks.

    Even with logs, your chances of getting your stuff back... very very slim. W e have lost SOOOOO much stuff on just PVE boards from crashes its lead to new equipt being bought, entire internet wiring system, ripped out replaced from the lead line in, new modem/ routers installed... and even when all their pings were red,,, hey... not our fault, I gave up hope long ago theyd replace anything, triple that for a car. My wife lost about 8 or 9 of those this weekend from crashes alone. Zero chance shes getting any back, even with logs.

    We have had ours for quite a while, paying 90 days or so at a time for out server and had ours paid well in advance of the Easter event. We have seen the message you're referring to a few times since we originally got our server. The times varied but it still was frustrating since we were essentially paying to guarantee ourselves a place to game and arrive to find its not as reserved as we thought. Trust me, we understand.
